Im so glad to have found this vet! Everyone working there - from the front desk staff to the veterinarian who examined my dog - was friendly and obviously loved animals. We were in and out in about an hour, and that included a full exam and vaccinations. I really appreciate the clinics low fees - my previous vet was so expensive! At the OC vet clinic, my dog received several vaccinations (including rabies), a microchip (and online registration for the chip), a full examination, and was registered with Clackamas County... the entire bill was under $150. They were also very willing to explain the different vaccination options and what they thought were necessary to have in our region, didnt push me to get more. Be aware that this is a walk-in clinic, so your wait will depend on how many people are ahead of you. I went on a Tuesday afternoon and the wait was very short, but I imagine the weekends would be longer. A note about the one star review: You *have* to register your dogs in Clacakamas county - its the law. If the county receives a rabies vacation notice from the vet and you havent registered, they will fine you. This is not the fault of the vet! Just pay the $19 and save yourself the trouble.

Could not ask for a better vet. Initially I was apprehensive because I had been going to this clinic for over 20 years and my original vet left with no notification. So when I came in I had the shock of him not being there and this new guy...Dr. Chris. I dont do change very well... but Dr. Chris won me and my dogs over in spades! I love how before an exam he talks TO my dogs... as if they were his own. When he talks to me...his communication skills are excellent. I never leave confused and wondering. And he doesnt just go for your wallet. His first concern is the animals. I swear he has the soul of an small country vet that if he could, hed accept eggs, fresh butter, or a chicken as payment. He recently came to my home and helped me with the very difficult decision to put one of my dogs down. I am grateful that he offers at home services. He was very professional and extremely compassionate. I am thankful for the change in veterinarians. If he is ever to relocate, I will drive my dogs to where ever he is. Couldnt ask for a better vet or a better person to care for my dogs.

I have been taking my fur babies to Oregon City Veterinary Clinic for 26 years. Yes, there can be wait when the lobby is full but knowing that all their attention is focused on you and your pets when you are in the exam room makes the wait worth it. All of the doctors and support staff are kind and gentle. Out of curiosity I called a vet clinic closer to my home to see what it would cost to spay and neuter the kittens I recently adopted from rescue. I was shocked at the amount, over $250 per kitten! Not only do you receive compassionate care at OCVC, its done at an affordable price.

First time visiting this clinic was to put our familys 17 year old cat down, though a very tough and sad experience, it couldnt have gone any smoother. He was very gentle with our cat and he did his best to comfort us as well. No generic "atleast he is in a better place", but genuine words to comfort an upset family. The vet and his assistant were the best weve been to, and i would recomend him to any one with pets of their own, we will definitely continue to bring our other pets here from now on! He is passionate about what he does and it shows!

Dr. Chris has been our vet for 8 years. He is passionate, caring, and wants what is best for your fur baby. He also is respectful towards your wishes. One of the big reasons why we love him so much is because he likes to use naturopathic medicine first before using other resources. Sure, the wait can be a little exhausting because it is a walk-in clinic. However, you leave feeling satisfied knowing your baby received great treatment.

My sister & I have been taking our cats to this clinic for a couple of years & have received excellent vet care. When we took an abandoned cat to the clinic for care, Dr. Chris McIlmoil made a very generous donation of vet care for the kitty that included a dental cleaning. His generosity made a big difference in helping to find the cat a forever home. We are very impressed with this clinic. Dr. Chris and his great team care about animals!

Awesome Vet! They took the time to talk to me instead of at me like some Vets do. Explained clearly what my dogs ideal weight and physique should be so I can understand what it is Im looking for when he goes on a diet. Silly puppy. =) The staff is really friendly and extremely helpful. Appointments are not necessary and upon walking in and filing out the usual paperwork, I was seen within 5 mins.

I have taken all of my pets here for everything for the past 10 years. The Vets are amazing, compassionate, professional and knowledgeable - the entire staff is wonderful. I wouldnt trust my pets with anyone else. Oh, and the prices are some of the best Ive found - and Ive shopped around in this tough economy.

The Vets here are so good. My Chihuahuas have received excellent care from VERY knowledgeable staff. Honest opinions, professional, and obvious animal lovers! I have tried 2 other veterinary clinics in Oregon City & beavercreek, and they did not even compare! I wont go anywhere else. Reasonable prices too!

This place has been the clinic for all my pets. I just took my new 8 week old pup there 2 days after getting her and there was no new pet check up discount because the rescue organization I got her from already gave her the first set of shots. Pretty dissapointing.

I have seen several vets in this office and they are all very caring and helpful. I also think they are conscious of the cost and really do there best to help you be able to afford to provide good care for your pet in my case my cats.

From my first walk-in, Saturday urgent care visit to the end of life care for my pet, everyone at the clinic showed sincere concern for my pet and our family.... Ive been a pet owner for 50 years and never had better.

Best vet ever! Great service, very well priced and in the business to help, not make the big bucks. Ive come here for 20 years and most of the same Vetrinarians are still their, dr bob is the best!
