My husband and I just moved back to Oregon and our last vet was in Corvallis. Unfortunately our golden got two of his toe nails caught in our uhaul truck steps and ripped off the nail. We tried to take care of him over the weekend but we knew we needed a vet pronto. I researched for hours for a good vet. I am an over the top owner and my dog is my baby. I have incredibly high standards for who ever takes care of my dog. Mt. Scott got great reviews not just on Yelp but Facebook, YP, and Google. So I made the jump and called Monday morning. They had computer troubles but called me back right away once the computer was working. The front desk staff was amazing. I dealt with Lindsay almost the whole time. She has got to be the friendliest vet front desk staff Ive ever met. She made sure I was comfortable, cared about my dog, and got us in within 30 minutes. We got there and she remembered my dogs name. She retrieved all his records from his past two vets. Made us feel comfortable and was incredibly friendly in person too! We went into the exam room and met the vet tech, who was also kind. She took good care of my boy and then the vet came in, Dr. Conradi. I loved her right on the spot. Again, I am incredibly picky but Karen knew exactly what she was doing. She comforted my dog, was calming to this freaking out mom, and explained everything. She even printed out all the prices before she did everything to make sure I was okay with it (Ive never had that happen before). She then took our dog to the back to be cleaned up. We heard him crying and right after could hear the techs comforting him. She came out and explained everything and then the tech came out later and explained all the paperwork and meds. I felt so comfortable the whole time. I felt like they truly cared about my dog and how scared I was for him. We have a two week check up but I fully intend to keep Dr. Conradi as our full time vet. We needed a vet, this wasnt how I wanted to have to find one, but I couldnt have asked for a better vet and experience in our small crisis! Thank you all!

Absolutely disgusting! I had been recommended this clinic by a friend, as well as read the reviews so I was confident it was going to be an enjoyable experience since all I needed was vaccines. First impression of the clinic is that its filthy. I was surprised by the amount of dirt on the floor, the condition of the walls, and the thick layers of dust just in the waiting room alone. When I finally saw the doctor she didnt stop talking about herself; I was surprised I could even get a word in, and she cut me off often. I ended up just getting a rabies vaccine since the flea medication (that the receptionist told me I would be able to get but failed to mention I would have to buy in in a bulk) is not available. In fact they only carry one brand of flea medication. When I went to check out for my over priced waste of time (I can get a rabies vaccine from any clinic) I could hear the techs and the doctor in the back room talking negatively about me and my dog through the thin wall dividing the counter and the back area. I could clearly hear them talking about how I "reek" of cigarettes, Im cheap, and my dog isnt well trained. My business funds your business, if youre going to slander me at least wait till Im out of the building to do so. All in all it was a horrible experience. The female doctor is rude, over bearing, and pushy. I will not return, and I desperately hope my friend will find a cleaner, more caring environment.

I cannot recommend this clinic enough. They have taken such good care of our two kitties, one of which had to recently be put to sleep. They helped in every way they could to try and make our girl better, but in the end it just wasnt possible. They were kind and thoughtful, especially Dr. Conradi who answered all my emailed questions as quickly as she could. When it came time, they came to our house so as to not stress out and terrify our kitty. They were able to peacefully send her off in her favorite chair, on her favorite blanket, with her humans around her. The staff there are always willing to help out as much as they can and help you find other resources when it is something beyond their capabilities. They treat each and every pet as if it were their own. They are a fantastic group of people and were lucky to have them in our neighborhood.

Over the past 4 years Mt Scott Animal Clinic has been a true blessing to our family. They are kind, caring, compassionate, understanding, and very informative. They have always been there when needed and seem to always go above and beyond for our boys. I cant say enough about everyone there. We are always greeted with a caring smile from a receptionist, the vet techs are always so caring and loving in the way they handle our boys, and the Doctors, wow, I never really thought of how to describe Dr. Conradi and Dr. Bussa. They have both been with us through some truly difficult, heartbreaking times. They understand that our boys are not just our pets, they are our family and have always treated them, as well as myself and husband, with the utmost respect and compassion. They truly are a God send.

Ive taken my dog here for years, and I feel that he gets great care! The first time I went in, the Dr said "hi" to me, then right away sat down on the floor and started playing with my dog. My dog loved going to the Dr after that, and he had no fear of the place. I think both Drs there are great, so whomever you get, your pet will be well taken care of. Ive seen them give free exams & meds to stray animals brought in right off the street, Ive seen them extend credit to people who couldnt afford the whole bill, they give free exams to recently adopted animals and they are also a place where you can bring lost animals. They will give them a checkup & then take them to the county (or try to foster them). Great Place, great people!

This place is great! Dr Bussa is a true animal lover (& they love him back)! Weve taken our cats here 1 by 1 & enjoyed nothing but great service, compassionate consideration, super convenient hours & friendly staff from entry to exit. Weve had happy visits (& sad ones, too) & they have always been a really caring group of people. I have a cat w asthma & they have really taken time going over options, dealing w my neurotic questions & even phoning in a RX to PetMeds b/c the medication was a bit cheaper that way. I will be bringing our "fur kids" here for years to come. The only bummer is that they dont offer low-cost spays/neuters, since that would be a good service for the area but hopefully that can be added some day.

I previously took one of my pets to Mt Scott and had no issues, so I decided to try them again. With this new pet, he would not go in the carrier (he is a feral rescue and spooks very easily). We finally got him into the carrier by wrapping him with a towel. I called Mt. Scott to let them know we would be about 10 minutes late. Their response was that since it was so close to lunch time, that the doctor wanted to just push the appointment back a few hours. We already had so much trouble trying to get our pet into the carrier the first time, we couldnt put him through all of that again so we had to just cancel. Im really disappointed in Mt. Scott that they couldnt make accommodation for a 10 minute difference.
