I started this process by calling to inquire about Lasik Surgery from the Lasik Plus website. I wanted to go to the best surgeon in Arizona, so I did my research and chose Dr. Perry in Scottsdale. My initial exam was performed in Chandler and Dr. Wayment was fantastic. It was the best eye exam I had ever received and gave me a lot of confidence that I was working with an excellent organization. Dr. Wayment was thorough, professional, and took the necessary time to explain everything and answer all of my questions. The night before the surgery, Dr. Perry called to see if I had any questions. Thats rare and definitely differentiates him from other surgeons. On the day of the surgery, I walked into the office and was greeted by the very friendly staff and after some brief paperwork, I was taken back to the surgery room right on time. Dr. Perry greeted me and introduced himself, asking me if I had any final questions. He is very friendly and authentic. You can tell he genuinely cares about his patients. The surgery itself was very quick and those who are with you can observe the entire procedure through floor-to-ceiling glass walls in the waiting area. I experienced only a slight discomfort when the flap in my cornea was created. Other than that, the numbing drops I received before the procedure worked well. My recovery followed the script of a burning sensation and watery eyes once the drops wear off. Heed their advice to get home as quickly as possible and try to sleep. If you do, it will help a lot. Later that evening, I felt very good and again received a call from Dr. Perry, asking me how my eye was doing. The next day, I had a follow-up appointment with Dr. Perry and my healing continued. *Important note: many experience immediate results when a large correction is needed. I did not, due to the fact that farsightedness that has a mild correction (mine was 20/30) takes longer to notice, because my eye was a little swelled and still healing. So, for those of you who have a mild correction or are farsighted, dont be discouraged. I am 4 days out and am seeing MUCH better now than immediately after surgery. Finally: I am so glad I had surgery and I couldnt have asked for a better surgeon or staff of professionals than I got at Dr. Perrys office in Scottsdale. He has worked hard to create a culture of excellence and it shows. Well done, Dr. Perry, and thank you for correcting years of astigmatism in my right eye. I couldnt be happier!

My surgery went fine (which makes sense since it is a simple procedure), but Dr. Perrys manner left a lot to be desired. I think a lot of these reviews focus on being happy with having better vision, but not on the actual service at this location. On the day of my procedure, I waited a couple hours, managed to avoid interacting with a receptionist who oddly kept referring to me as "girlfriend," and finally I entered the operating room. I sat down. Dr. Perry walked up to me, stood within an inch, and ordered me to stay quiet about the "deal" I was getting on the lasik procedure. Which, by the way, was $2800 for both eyes, total. Even one of the nurses turned her head, because thats mighty strong language and body posturing for a doctor. What would have been appropriate? Say hello, how are you, do you have any questions or concerns? But no such luck here. Dr. Perry then told me that even though I didnt look nearly 40 years old, I was going to have to start acknowledging my age and be prepared to get reading glasses in the coming years. This was a wholly inappropriate comment about my appearance. In fact, the whole exchange was unfortunate. This is a simple procedure but intense, and it was made all the more challenging because of his downright threatening manner. There are awards showcased in this office for best service, these awards are a few years old. You definitely get the impression that this chain had a heyday for customer care and now is not that time. Now they are a factory with tons of people and cash coming in; that and their reviews seem to be what is most important to them.

The only regret I have is not doing this any sooner. I recently got lasik on both my eyes and I love it. I loved the service that was given to me at this location everyone was very nice specially the Drs. they are so professional and answer all of your questions with patience. The day of the procedure I was extremely nervous and all 3 Drs. that were there asked how I was feeling and assured I was in good hands. In deed I was, The procedure took less than 10 min honestly the worst part is the waiting, There are two machines you go under they are not bad at all nor painful, although after the procedure my eyes were watering extremely bad and it hurt to open them so I had my eyes shut until my mother got me home for a nap, I had to take pain meds to fall asleep because my pain was bad, I slept for about 2.5 hrs but when I woke up I used my drops and could see clearly! I was so excited and happy, I could finally see without glasses. If you are thinking about it, think no more if its the price there is financing options. There is only 1 thing that I have to complain about and it was one day I went in for my follow up 3 people were at the counter 2 nurses and 1 Dr. not one of them took the time to greet me they were talking about what to get for lunch, it was very rude of them but other than that everyone is friendly. They have snacks and you get a cool shirt! lol Mine says "Guess what Im not wearing

As someone who is very squeamish when it comes to eyes, Ive put off getting LASIK for nearly a decade. Dont make the same mistake I did! Dr. Perrys team took great care of me, and they were quick! I was in just last Monday (3/6) for my free consult, and walked out of surgery on 3/10. Everything was explained in detail during my consult, and I was walked through everything again on the day of surgery. The surgery itself was extremely quick, and while admittedly a bit unpleasant for someone who does not like the thought of anything happening to his eyes, it is painless. The entire procedure from check-in to walking out the door took less than 40 minutes. Three things that really stood out to me: 1. Dr. Perry personally called me the night after completing my surgery to see how I was doing and if I had any questions or concerns. You could tell by talking to him that he truly cares about his patients and his work. 2. His staff echoed and exemplified this. The entire team was very friendly, knowledgeable, and treated every patient that was in the office with courtesy and respect. 3. Everything I can see now! I went from having a -3.0 prescription in both eyes (some sites equate this to 20/150 to 20/200 vision) to now being able to see 20/10! As a bonus, they support military/veterans. They also offer no interest financing to help make it a bit easier to pay for.

Went from about 20/400 (-4.5ish diopters off in both eyes with astigmatism in left eye) to better than 20/15 (I could read the 20/15 line easily and felt like I could almost read the 20/10 line). Im a professional pilot, my eyes are important. I also fly an aerobatic aircraft and was worried I wouldnt be able pull positive or negative for a while. Its been a week and Im good to pull any number of gs... and I can see better than ever. The procedure *actually is* painless, there is some pressure when they put the suction cup on but not a "doctor" sort of pressure where "pressure" is a euphemism for "will hurt like hell," they offered me Valium, I turned it down and am glad I did. I dont think my vision was ever this good with glasses but cant be sure, certainly it hasnt been this good with glasses in the last 2 years. Its been a week and both my eyes are still a bit dry, my sister says it was about six months before dry eyes were totally gone, dryness really not a big deal though. Their eye drop document could use a bit of work, the three different eye drop regimes should be graphically distinct with a box around each eye drop products information and instructions. As it is they arent graphically distinct, this wouldnt pass muster in a critical document in aviation, pretty small complaint though.
