It was by chance...through work that I found out about Dr. Tara Hardin...I had already been told what I wanted could not be done, but the individual who told me about Dr. Hardin was adamant that there was indeed help. I went to my free consultation thinking I would apease this person not once thinking what I needed could actually be possible. My initial reaction to just walking through the doors of Hardin Advance Dentistry was this was a unique place, and everyone was so nice that even if Dr. Hardin couldnt help me it was nice to have met such a group of courteous and professional individuals. When Dr. Hardin walked in I was shocked at how beautiful she was in person, but when she started talking to me I realized she was more than just a pretty face but an amazingly caring and compassionate person. I shared with her my story of the accident I had over 35 years ago that disfigured and changed my life and how when I had finally been able to save towards the first steps in getting my dental repairs how I was told I had waited too long and it couldnt be done. Dr. Hardin told me it could be done, that it would take time and it would be costly but that it was very much a possibility and that she could repair/restore what had been taken away from me so many years ago. Its been a journey.....Ive met Dr. Daniel who has had to do several bone and skin grafts....he could see and feel my frustration when my initial bone graft wasnt what he had hoped and I had to have another one but Dr. Daniel told me "I want to do this right...I want to do you justice" I actually cried on my way home because in that moment I knew Dr.s Daniel and Hardin was in this with me and that it had become their journey as well. When I returned for my appointment in December Dr. Daniel told me my most recent procedure was a success and that at the beginning of the year I could proceed with the next phase. At that appointment Dr. Hardin peeked in to say hi and to see how I had been doing....I explained that my whole life I have practiced not smiling because I didnt want to draw attention to myself and definitely not to my mouth, but now that we are so far into transforming my smile....transforming me....I spend hours just practicing smiling which is not easy when you have trained yourself never to smile. People ask me why I drive over an hour to see Dr.s Hardin and Daniels....I say because miricles really do happen right in Mason Ohio. This is more than just exceptional dental care....this has been life changing.

While I do like several of the staff members at Hardin Dental, I will not be going back. I can not justify the excessive costs for the services they provided, which were, at best, above average. Not excellent-- just a little better than average. , I had extensive cosmetic dental work completed at this office. I think I purchased every single service that was recommended. While the results are okay, they are by no means anything special. Just be prepared for the hard sell. I sent a family member there for minor restoration work on one or two teeth. As with my case, they were made to feel that if they didnt spend 12-14K, they would not get the results they sought. I understand the goal--go for the dream smile and work back into what you can realistically afford. Its just that the treatment plan was so absolutely over the top for what was initially requested the patient was totally put off. And, while they do say they "take" certain insurance, be advised that they are not (or were not, last I checked) part of certain provider networks. This means that they do not agree to accept the insurance reimbursement as payment in full. Patients sign a form to that effect, but some still may not realize it--you actually sign a credit card-type device, which then transfers your signature to the online form. I dont think anyone is intentionally being deceitful, but it is really easy to miss. Also, one member of the office staff can be a little absent-minded. Shes left me sitting in the waiting room for 30-40 minutes on more than once (youd think Id learn). I assumed the doc was running late, but as it turned out, she just forgot to tell anyone I was there.

Being new to the area, I did a lot of research on different dentists in the area. Since I have crowns, veneers and implants, I wanted a dentist that was a highly skilled and knowledgeable specialist in the area of cosmetic dentistry. What initially drew me to Dr. Tara was all the great reviews I read about Hardin Advanced Dentistry and their staff. I was impressed with their service starting with my first call. I had broken a tooth in the front of my mouth and was in a panic because it was a week and half from me leaving town for the Christmas holidays. I called Dr. Taras office, explained I was new to the area and explained my emergency. Although they were booked, they were very understanding and worked me into the schedule . This was a very positive first impression. I knew upon my first visit, I had come to the right place. The staff is absolutely exceptional and they make every effort to ensure you are cared for and that your visit is pleasant and comfortable. The surroundings and service are very warm and calming. In fact, I went back to my office and told my co-workers that I felt like I had just left a spa versus the dentist because I was pampered the whole visit. Dr. Tara is absolutely amazing both in her work and in personality. She takes a personal interest in her patients and their health. She and her staff really take the time to build a relationship with you versus getting you in and out the door. I also have a great appreciation for the fact they are up to speed with the latest technology advancements in both procedures and equipment. I would highly recommend Hardin Advanced Dentistry!

Hardin Advanced Dentistry is the best! The knowledgeable staff, top of the line equipment, and caring professionalism make this practice the place to go for everything from a routine cleaning to extensive dental reconstruction. I always thought that my fear of the dentist would keep me from getting the extensive dental work I needed, and that I would never feel comfortable smiling in public again. Everything changed when I found Hardin Advanced Dentistry. Dr. Tara Hardin went the extra mile by calling me personally to introduce herself the night before I came in for my consultation appointment. This was so nice, and I knew after that phone call that Id found the right dentist. Being able to talk to and connect with her before she saw my teeth made me feel much more comfortable. This call is just one example of how everyone at the practice goes above and beyond with customer service. Since then, I have had extractions, root canals, fillings, crowns, bone grafts, and am currently getting implants placed. Im very pleased with the careful and meticulous work done by Dr. Hardin, Dr. Daniel, and their staff. I feel calm and relaxed while sitting in the chair, and cant wait to finish my implants and restorations. If youre debating whether to go ahead with extensive reconstructive or cosmetic dental work at Hardin Advanced Dentistry, I encourage you to go for it. They have everything it takes to create the smile youve always wanted. I wish Id found them a long time ago!
