Bad experience with this office. Received a treatment plan from them which was completely off! They did not take the time to contact my insurance (which was confirmed by customer service) to get me accurate fees. After sending them the correct fee schedule, I was told that this would be honored and updated. I never heard back from them for a week in a half despite the recommendation for me to get a root canal and come back to the office for an extraction in a weeks time. On top of that, the Endodontist that I was referred to from them was also unprofessional. They did not return calls for insurance verification or appointment setting. They ended up being out of network, thank God! After getting the root canal, I called back and the young lady who was handling my case was transferred to another office and did not leave a paper trail. The new rep said she would get back to me no later than the next morning. In my best attempts to give them another try, I called back and was once again directed to another person who didnt know anything. I dont recommend this office at all unless you already go there! If youre in network for the Dental Associates at Walden Woods which is down the street, I recommend them! Theyre my family dentist and if my new insurance was in network I would have never gone to this location...ever!

We started going to this dentist on the recommendation of a friend, and at first things were fine. However, about a year later, this dental office started going downhill. Every single time we scheduled a dental appointment with a hygenist, the office called THE DAY BEFORE to try to reschedule. This didnt happen just once, but every time. This is frustrating, because we all have to plan our dental appointments around working hours. I finally decided to bail on this dentist when Aubrey, the front desk receptionist called me once again to reschedule yet another appointment at the last minute, and when I said we cannot do another time as my husband rearranged his work schedule to fit in the current appointment that we made several months ago, she said I could talk to a manager tomorrow. I asked her what would be the point, and instead of answering my question, she offered a stony silence, then hung up the phone on me. I tried calling back to get my husbands appointment rescheduled, and got an auto message saying they were closed for the day. Sure enough, it was 5pm on the dot. The receptionist couldnt be bothered to finish her phone call to me, because it was quitting time. Unbelievable! We will never go back to this office again. Very unprofessionally run.

Dr. Carter is very nice and I felt that he is very trustworthy. He took time to answer my questions and gave me different options. He is very knowledgeable and patient. Danielle took the time to show me pictures of my teeth and explain to me exactly what was going on in my mouth. She is a great teacher. I learned more about my dental health than I have from anyone else in the past 40 years. Jacque is a great dental hygienist. She was very through. Very nice lady. She also was very knowledgeable and patient. The office staff was very nice and professional. I didnt have to wait very long at all. The office is clean and comfortable. My first experience at Dental Associates of Plant City was awesome! They will definitely be my regular dental office from now on!

Ive been going to Dr. Carter for a few years now. It seemed for a while he had a lot of turnover of staff which made me wonder why but each time I went they were always friendly & helpful. Only recently have I really had to deal directly with the dentist himself and although hes not really personable, he is good. He is gentle with needles and professional. I guess having it all in one package is difficult to find. Another thing that is good about this office is they pretty much keep you to your appt time. At least for all of mine they have, which is a rarity these days with any type of office. Finally, Dr. Carters assistant, Renee, shes awesome. Talk to her when you go there. Shell have you smiling! Thank you for making my most recent visit pleasant!

This is how I found the Best Dentist and his staff! I broke my front tooth cap and needed a quick fix. I called Dental Associates of Plant City and had the pleasure of talking with Disa Etter. I had insurance but havent seen a dentist in 5 years. Disa talked me thru everything! I got ahold of Humana and had everything sent to their office! I told her what id like to have done and she very Professionally described what all my options were including procedures and payment options! Her knowledge impressed me so much and how she treated me, I felt very comfortable going to her and Dr. Carrter

Very professional and friendly staff. I went in to get two molars extracted but after seeing that the roots were long and in the sinus cavity, Dr. Carter informed me that I would be better off with crowns. The extraction could have caused a lot of shifting which I did not know. This involved me going to get a root canal done. Aubrey at the front desk got me scheduled for one the same day despite the endodontist saying they were fully booked that day. Later that week I was fitted for my new crowns and they fit perfectly. Wonderful experience and I would recommend to anyone!

Disa is an incredible manager and receptionist: Probably of the sweetest people in a dental office I have ever met!!
