Very disappointed in the office staff. When I was in the office for my last appointment they stated that my prescription had not changed much but to come back when it started to change to have it rechecked and that everything would be fine. A few weeks ago I called to make an appointment and they stated that I was all set to come into the office to have my eyes rechecked. Now less than 24 hours before my appointment I receive a call stating that I am not do for an exam. I told them what I was told at the office during my last visit. And the response was, was this told you by our office? Again I reiterated what was stated to me during my last visit. I was told that my insurance did not cover the visit as i have to wait until April. I asked why I was not told this when I scheduled my appointment weeks ago and they verified my insurance. The response was I dont know but you can by new glasses and then come back in 6 weeks pay again and get an adjustment. Does not make a lot of sense to me. I have been a patient here for almost 10 years. And my parents and brother 20. I guess it is time to look for a new eye doctor and stop referring people here.

Ive been going to Dr. Dorfzaun since 1978 and his office was a little "hole-in-the- wall" tucked in the back of the shopping center where he had his last office. He is very knowledgeable in his field. Not only can he catch eye problems, but he can also catch medical problems before they get out of control. Hes treated my husband and all six of our children. Now hes working on my grandchildren! If THAT doesnt say something about the guy, I dont know what will! Dr. Dorfzaun and his wife Helene are the epitome of kindness and business savvy. I cant begin to count how many people I have told about his practice. I can say, however, that our family will continue to go to his practice......I am not looking forward to the day when he retires because I know I will ever find a replacement like him. Oh yeah, and about his staff....what a great bunch of people! Always smiling! And they have been there for several years which tells me that they like their work environment. That means a lot to me!

BEST EYE DOCTOR EVER! Dr. Hester is an amazing eye doctor. She is extremely thorough, is very kind, and I plan on always going to her for my future eye care needs. My entire family goes to Dorfzaun Eye Group and we will never leave! They are extremely flexible with scheduling and are quick and efficient. The lovely ladies at the front desk are all wonderful, quick, and very nice to talk to. I highly recommend any person searching for an eye doctor to try Dorfzaun Eye Group and Dr. Hester!

I have been to other eye doctors, but I feel like Dr. Dorfzaun and his practice are the best ever. Dr. Dorfzaun takes so much time with his patients and had been recommended to me by a friend. That friend had an eye problem that required Dr. Dorfzaun to send him to a specialist. The specialist indicated that most ophthalmologists would never have discovered his problem. I feel very confident in Dr. Dorfzaun. His staff is extremely pleasant, efficient, and caring.

Have been going to Dr. Dorfzaun For many years . The service is excellent ! The staff is Amazing . Always greeted with smiles and and hellos as if you are old friends.( which they really are) I do not have any hesitation about calling the office with problems or questions. Always get the answers I need or a call back.I have recommended Dorfazuan Eye Group and will continue to do so.We drive around twenty five miles to get to his office and believe me its worth it!

I arrived for my appointment a little early. As Dr. Dorfzaun was going in he waved his hand and called out to come on in. Such a friendly down to earth Doctor. The entire staff is the same way. They helped me with my glasses and gave me excellent service when I fell and broke my glasses. A great place! Friendly, helpful and totally concerned about you as a person. Not your typical office!

Dr. Hester and the staff are great. They are on time - which is hugely important to me. Dr. Hester is always willing to discuss issues and answer questions related to my eye health. Even though I had lasix surgery several years ago and havent had any major changes in my eyesight, shes always helpful to suggest ways I can still make use of and maximize the benefits from our eye insurance.

My family and several friends have used Dr. Dorfzaun for years. He is extremely thorough and provides you with an explanation of your situation that you can understand. I have never felt rushed and believe that Dr. Dorfzaun sincerely cares about the welfare of his patients. The entire staff is friendly and professional. The office staff is very helpful and Dr Hester takes the time to get to know me as a person (not just a client that is in and out) so she knows how to best help me. She is very knowledgable. I recently got new insurance and she took the time to explain the options to me in order to help me make informed choices and get the most out of my insurance. It is always a pleasant experience!

Ive been seeing Dr. Dorfzaun for 3 years now and hes always so friendly and personable. The entire staff is wonderful. The same thing happened to me when I arrived at his office early; he waved me in and got started on my exam right away. I love him so much, I sent my 24 year old son to him, and he feels the same way as I do. I highly recommend this office.

Dr. Hester was very personable and pleasant, and gave a thorough exam. The experience was pleasant from arriaval, through the exam, ordering the glasses, and paying the bill. All employees were caring and very professional and helpful. I highly recommend this practice and will be using it again in the future when my needs require their services.

Dr. Hester is the BEST optometrist that Ive ever had! She clearly enjoys engaging with each patient and takes a personal interest in helping them obtain the best vision possible. Dr. Dorfzaun is awesome. My insurance doesnt really cover his services but I would never consider going to anyone else. I tell all my friends that he is eye doctor to go to. He checks everything. I feel like they would do whatever they could to help me, and they have taken care of all of my families needs.

Dr. Hester and her staff are wonderful and so friendly! They have been so kind and helpful in getting the perfect contacts for me! I couldnt have asked for a better eye care group than the Dorfzaun Group! Now I can throw away those pesky reading glasses!!! Im so glad I chose them for my eye care needs.
