AWFUL. Avoid this place like the plague. Called them early Monday morning and ask if they could see me that day due to extreme eye irritation I experienced over the weekend. I arrived at 10:15 and checked in, clipboard, etc. Then I proceed to wait... and wait... and wait until 11:30 when there is no one in the waiting room but me. I tell the receptionist that my son is home alone and I really need to get back to him. She calls back and 10 minutes later a nice young lady takes me to an examination room and asks a few questions then leaves and says the doctor would see me in a few minutes. 10 minutes go by, my phone battery dies, 15 minutes go by...20 MINUTES GO BY and I realize its gotten very quiet outside the exam room. I come outside and the staff is gone! They went to lunch! After an hour and a half in the waiting room they left me in the examination room and went to lunch. So I stormed out and now I am having to start from scratch and make a new eye appointment with a different eye doctor. DONT LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU!! STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM MARIETTA EYE CLINIC IN CANTON, GA.

I had a horrible eye irritation that kept on getting worse. I felt a foreign object in my eye, and no matter what I did, I could not get the feeling to go away. After hours of flushing and eye drops, my eye was bright red and I was in severe pain. I finally went to the ER at 9 pm and they tried to figure out the problem, but were unfortunately unable to find the issue. I spent that night in dire pain and agony. The next morning, I called Marietta Eye Clinic at 8 am and they were able to get me in with Dr. Leonard Thurschwell at 10 pm. My eye was so bad at this point I could not even drive. I had my wife drop me off at the clinic and was at best pessimistic about my chances of feeling better. Within minutes, Dr. Thurschwell was able to identify the issue, flipped my eyelid, and removed a small grain of sand that had gotten stuck under my eyelid. I felt instantly better. After 24 hours of hell, the doctor was able to cure my ailment. Dr. Thurschwell is an amazing doctor and you will not be disappointed visiting this office.

Stay away! This Clinic does not have accurate medical records. I requested a copy of my records and it did not include IOP. They claim that for some age groups that test may not be conducted. However measuring IOP is a standard part of an eye exam and I remember getting that test done. On the positive side, a copy of the records was free of cost. With my eye prescription, I feel like it was inaccurate, too. One year later after the visit to Marietta Eye Clinic, my prescription at a different doctor was with a weaker prescription. I highly doubt that my vision change that much in one year. Please keep in mind that this Clinic measures IOP using the air pressure test which is slightly less accurate than other methods. This Clinic also uses students for part of the exam which may create some inaccuracies in your exam. I do not recommend this clinic at all.

With my experience the staff were all VERY friendly and kind. I had to bring in my son due to last minute babysitter cancellation and one of the staff ( I wish I remembered her name!) gave him a pen and paper to draw with and entertained him while I was being checked. Even the front desk woman was very friendly. My doctor on the other hand was very rude. It seemed like he just didnt have the time to sit and listen to me. I was told I was going to be squeezed in but honestly if I would have known I would have had less than 10 minutes with the doctor (including examination) I would have waited for a later appointment.

After waiting over a hour after my appointment time. Finally seen the doctor. Who focus more on the papers to sign about money. Nurse said she will give me glasses after they was dilated. Walk out like a bat. Couldnt see nothing. Nurse never gave me glasses. And didnt see if I had a driver. When my friend had simple shot in back. I had to sign I was driving and show my driver license. This place is so unprofessional. Was looking on yelp. Seem has many bad reviews

The staff is not the friendliest, no smile, no eye contact. They did not call me when my glasses where ready for pick up. I had to call and she said she had called but the cell number was not my number, where did she get the number from - who knows. I am a firm believer of giving MY MONEY to providers who care about me as a patient. Marietta Eye Clinic staff is definitively not on my list.
