Optomitrist very nice, and they gave me free trial color contacts but when it came to picking out my frames Ive never had glasses before so I really wanted what my insurance would cover. It took me coming in 2 times to pick frames and at both times they ushered me to a rack of lower priced lenses I assumed were covered by my insurance. Only to find out after everything was selected and about to be made they asked if I wanted to pay now or when I picked them up. I said Ill pay when I pick them up since it was a Saturday I thought surely they made a mistake and Id talk to the full staff on Monday. Later I call to verify and Im told oh no we must have been busy and didnt mention it to you ( lynch no they werent my husband and I were the only ones in there the first day). Upon calling to discuss they offered to remake the glasses that room an hour to pick out in the first place in something my insurance covers.the frames were only $49 but its the principle and really not great business practice, wont recommend or go back once I get my $49 glasses!

This place is a fraud and unethical. My experience here was a shock and disbelief considering that this is 2015. The man I dealt with did not only try to overcharge me but also quoted the wrong price my insurance was paying ( quoted a lower price). Subsequently I called my insurance to ask why they were paying less than what they were supposed to pay. The insurance called them while I was on hold and they reversed themselves saying they made a mistake. They never had the decency to call me that they made a mistake. I waited purposely for 36 hours before calling them and asked for the owner, whom I was told was not there but the man that tried to dupe me came on the phone later to say he made a mistake. BUYER BEWARE . There is no way you can make a mistake in an insurance copay or quotes. There is fraud going on here.

This clinic does there own reviews. Absolute worse experience. Not only is the office very outdated, they openly violate HIPPA privacy laws, the receptionist is overly rude. The receptionist yelled out my social security number twice. Called my insurance company on speaker phone for everyone to hear, including patients. When I asled him if I could write down the information for him, he gave a serious attitude. At that point I left. The vibe upon walking in is very uneasy, unwelcome, we dont want your kind in here. The space is so small they conduct eye exams at the table set up in the front door space. The other exam space is over the hand washing sink. If you have allergies the carpet is from 1920 so be ready to start sneezing. Just horrible from every aspect. Your private information is at risk.

I have been driving there and using Eye-Site since 1992. I live 120 miles away in Alabama. If you are into esoteric glasses they have the facilities and materials and experience. The only complaints on this post involve the insurance company in my 75 year old opinion, not Eye-Site, I suggest calling your insurance company and asking for a written commitment but dont expect your insurance to pay without 3 appeals. Example: Humana let Joel Kaye die without cancer treatments by falsely claiming they were paying his hospital (Google -Kaye v. Humana), he got a bill for $240,000. My doctors recommended a heart ablation after my heart attack, that was 2009, Humana is still deciding whether they will pay for it. I drive 120 miles to get it done right. I have been dealing with Richard and his staff for a decade and wish every business I patronize treated me as professionally. They are courteous, honest, fair priced and really know the business of eyewear. I cant believe the above review by Mr. Aja...cannot believe he was treated like that at Eye-Site Optical...they are way too professional and Ive been dealing with them for years...if you want cheap try WalMart...

I just LOVE everything about this place. Professional and accurate eye exams and excellent customer service. They are fair priced and are always working with you to give you exactly what you need and want. I can see so much better and love my frames. Ive been going there for more than 25 years and now both of my grown children continue to go there. They are the best!

Eye-Site Optical is by far one of the best, if not the best in the industry. Great location, great care/customer service, and are attentive to the details. Richard and his team will always take care of you no matter the need. Always greeted with a warm welcome and smile.

Been a Optician for eye-site Optical for 25 years. It still doesnt get any better than you see a new person walk out as new eye wearer.
