I purchased lenses from them 6 months ago. I was told by the person that works there that the polycarbonate lenses with Anti Reflective coating is the best type of lenses to purchase. So I agreed to purchase them. Anyhow, once I started wearing my glasses with the new lenses, I could tell the lenses are low quality. They get smudgy really quick and they’re hard to clean. I compared my lenses to the lenses my brother purchased a month ago from LensCrafter which are also (Polycarbonate with AR). The quality of his lenses turned out to be superior to mine. I went back to them a couple weeks ago to see why and it turns out that lenses they sold me had “Standard AR”. This is basically the worst type AR coating you can have. The other types of AR that are available are Premium and Ultra. Nobody explained this to me when I purchased them and was never given options. They automatically sell you the Standard AR. They told me they can replace my current lenses with new lenses that have the Ultra AR from Crizal using the warranty. I agreed, however, I had pay to 70 dollars extra for the Ultra AR Coating. The Ultra AR coating make the lenses easy to clean, repel water, dirt and fingerprints better. I received the new lenses a week ago. After examining the lenses, I was extremely disappointed. The lenses are defected. There are many visible scuffs on the lenses and the quality remained the same.

Today I called to request my file from Dr. Younes, and was then told that it would cost me $30 to have it printed "because of all the paper and someones time" I agreed because I wanted to be done using this doctor. I was told it wold take an hour to print. When I picked up my file, it was about 30 pages. When I got home I realized that two years were missing.I have bad enough eyesight that I need a yearly check up, and do not miss them. Most of the files had my last exam date as 3/2011 which I find interesting as 2011 is a year that is missing from the packet. I originally was leaving this practice because I moved, and with them only being open 9 to 5 it was inconvenient. I also felt uncomfortable with the fact that every year dr younes would chsnge what type of lenses i had, even when had no complaints about the previous type. This final brand i did have problems with them ripping and have had to order extra lenses because they tear so easily. now Im glad I left because it seems as if this office is disorganized and incompetent. Not a quality practice.

I and my wife have been long time customers here. When i wanted to buy my contact lenses online, the online retailer has contacted the doctors office to verify my prescription. The office replied to the online retailer claiming that my prescription has expired. My prescription was not expired and the online retailer cancelled my order due to the doctor offices incompetency. I am searching for a new eye doctor. Great way to lose paying customers!

Dr Younis stated that i would have my sons glasses within 10 days which i paid for in full $109.00 . 25 days later he still did not have the glasses and refused to give me a refund. He would not take or give me my refund or say aim sorry, all he could say that it was the fault of UPS. Do you self a favor and deal with the big name store for the truth and good service. DO NOT GET RIPPED OFF BY THIS CROCKED DOCTOR

I called this office for an emergency appointment, they were so nice and undrestanding. They saw me within the hour and Doctor was so nice and diagnosed me and gave me eye drops that made me feel better quick. Also I got a call from the doctor that same night to check how I was doing, and the next day. I highly recommend this office and Dr Younes, it was a very pleasent visit and encounter with staff and Dr.

I recently had an appointment with Dr. Younis at My Eyecare in Dearborn and everything was great and informative. The service was excellent, the staff was pleasant, and Dr. Younis really helped to improve my eyesight. He even informed me of ways to prevent my eyes from watering as much due to seasonal allergies. I highly recommend all to visit Dr. Younis for their eye care needs!

I recently went to My Eye care, The staff there we very nice, The doctor for the glasses helped me pick out the best glasses,and explained to me the specification of the lenses for my perscibtion, he had a lot of knowledge in glasses and was very patient. I recommend this place to all my friends and family.

Snap Eliminator

This guy will make it sound like you have some sort of eye disease only to find out I do not after going to two different doctors. Keratoconus disease is what I was told I had. Turned out it was a way for him to get paid more. Be careful and get second or third opinion.

All they care about money not the patients . They give you quick check up and then you have to make glasses with high unreasonable prices . Bad experience and Im glad I left from their office .

They do not care my eye, what they care is their money, I did eye test over there but the result was wrong! Never try them!
