Worst experience Ive ever had with my glasses!!! First, I would like to say Ive worn glasses/contacts for years and that I own a retail business that provides excellent customer service and I understand that sometimes not everyone is happy but there is always a way to solve a problem or appease an unhappy person without ever being rude. Ive been to a couple different optometrists and offices around where I live. I found a great doctor but the frame selection is not too good, so on a recommendation, I went to S.E.E. in Somerset Mall, they were awesome. My glasses were perfect and they were done relatively quickly. Ive moved a little farther away from there now so this year when my puppy ate my glasses and I needed to replace them, I went to S.E.E. in the village in Rochester Hills. My first visit was very friendly and quick since I didnt even need new frames, just replacing my chewed up pair. I was told it would be about two weeks for my new glasses to arrive, no big deal, thats about how long it takes anywhere. Almost 3 weeks went by...no phone call, no contact, nothing. So I called to see how it was going. I was told they would check the status and get right back to me later that day or the next. Nothing, AGAIN! So again, I called to see what was going on and was given little information but was told they were in progress and should be done very soon. Almost 2 weeks later (so now were just under 5 weeks) I finally received a phone call that they were finished and I could pick them up. Being a little annoyed and desperate to have my glasses back since I was sick of wearing my contacts so much and cant see without one or the other, headed straight down to pick them up. The girl at the desk was very very friendly and very nice when I picked up the glasses but hardly apologetic that it took so long. I explained to her that I wasnt even really bothered by the time that it took to get the glasses so much as I was bothered by the pure lack of communication and customer service from their store. She was very polite and said she would relay the message to her manager since she didnt have the authority to make any decisions which I completely understood. After being told that I was all set, I walked out the door, got in my car and left. About 3 minutes later, I received a call from SEE to let me know that they made a mistake and had a small remaining balance for my glasses which I paid. I have no problem paying for things I buy, but get it together! The lack of communication and organization is horrible! The next day I received a call from a female manager to let me know that she had heard about my complaint. I began through the timeline and story with her and politely informed her of my displeasure with the whole process. Expecting her to at least be apologetic, I was floored when she responded with nothing but excuses, a rude tone and actually at one point she literally had nothing to say in response to on of my complaints, with not so much one mention of an apology for the inconvenience. Again, I politely informed her that I was very unhappy with the service I received and also informed her that I would never visit S.E.E. ever again.

Customer service is not as good as the somerset location. Still the products are consistent between locations. Love the frames they offer. Their sales associates are all stylists and make sure you walk out with a pair of glasses/sunglasses that not only look good on you but fit your personality. Eye doctor is very personable and friendly. When I met with him he wasnt satisfied with 20/20 vision for me and went beyond to make sure I was seeing 20/15. Contacts came in in less than a business week and I was called immediately when they arrived.

This place is great. I went to a doctor at Sams Club and then picked out a pair of glasses at See. The glasses I picked up were no good though and See said to go back to my doctor. I did and the doctor said the prescription was right. I went back to See and they had their doctor examine me for free and it turns out the doctor at See didnt know what they were doing. See redid my glasses for free and they are perfect.
