Hillary Touchette

I went here in March to get a glasses and contact exam. I purchased my glasses through them and ended p having to pay a ton more than insurance covered. Got a call a couple months later. They forgot to put the no glare on my lenses. Took my daughter here and it took them 2 hrs to do her exam. They sat us in a room and forgot we were there until I finally had to say something to someone. Then today I try to order myself some contacts and the vision center had to call them to get my contact prescription just to find out that I couldnt get the brand I wanted that i had been wearing for yrs. the refused to put it on the prescription that i could substitute it, which I know they legally can. They have lost two customers.

Took my wife for glasses for her work. she works behind 3 computer monitors all day. They talked us into some TAC lenses that cost way more than covered by insurance. two weeks later they call and say they are in. We go and she tries them and the lenses are off center so she cant focus. Two more weeks and they say they are back and she tries them again and she cant focus and they make her head hurt. She says they dont work so they gave her back part of her money and all but kick her out. worst service ever. She asked for regular bi focal and they said they cant remake the glasses and she needs to go someplace else. They sell you everything they can above your insurance. Like a car dealership.

Ive used this company before and didnt have a problem with them even though their a little expensive. Today, while at work, I called to make an appt. but while on the line with them I had to take a call so I ask them to hold for a moment; 1 min 10secs later they hung up. I guess they really didnt want or care about my return business or my eyes.....

My family has used Family Eye Clinic for 10 years and I have always been pleased. I made the mistake of trying to go the cheap route (I wont tell you where I went but it rhymes with Americas Best) and I assure you, I will never do that again.
