Upon arriving to my appointment on January 6th, I was in severe pain in my lower back. The front desk staff greeted me with smiles on their face, and asked my name. Within 5 minutes of walking through the door, Dr. Blessing introduced herself and explained what the first visit was about. She went through my medical history and then took me back to the x-ray room. After taking various x-rays, she put me on two various machines to help stretch out the tight muscles in my lower back in hopes of relieving the pain in my lower back. The two therapies she used helped ease some of the pain I had been having. I returned just yesterday and Dr. Z took me right back to explain the results of my x-rays. She let me know that I was in fact "fixable" and my thoughts of having my spine replaced could be dismissed. I was manually adjusted, and placed on muscle stem therapy. Today, I can breathe without being in tears. This establishment has the most welcoming team of office staff and doctors. If you are looking for a chiropractor, dont go anywhere else! Give them a try. Dr. Reckelhoff has helped me greatly in the short time I have been seeing her. I was in an auto accident a few years back and physical therapy helped greatly then. They told me the pain would eventually return, and they were right. I have a pinched nerve in my back and constant headaches that would frequently develop into migraines. Nothing gave me relief. Unable to afford more pt without insurance, I decided to try a chiropractor again. I saw one immediately after my accident for 8 months and got NO relief, so I was skeptical. I found immediate relief with the first adjustment with Dr. Reckelhoff. The combination of adjustments, therapy and stretches really makes the difference. The other chiropractor I had been to was far less comprehensive and simply did adjustments with a gun. I would recommend First Capital Chiropractic to anyone with back or neck pain. You wont be disappointed.

My fiance has had off and on back problems the last several months. Kind of tight on money since we are in the process and funding several aspects of our wedding so we have been puttin it off a bit. So finally went on in to see him from a referall and wow!! Totally understanding of our situation, very flexible and affordable for us. They care more about curing her of her problem than gettin upfront buttloads of money, .He was able to xray, give some therapy and treatments and give a few consultations/diagnosis all for a low price (under $40) and seems extremely knowledgable in his profession as does the rest of his staff. They ALL are very personable, friendly, even gave me a free WATER massage, well 2 (1 each visit) while my fiance was being seen. They are great and would highly recommend!!

I was suffering from terrible lower back pain, and my girlfriends ribs would come out of place. After only a few weeks, my back was infinitely better, and my girlfriend ribs are now perfect. Not only are Dr. Reckelhoff and Dr. Holland knowledgeable and friendly, I trust them. They are concerned with actually fixing the problem with adjustments and physical therapy. They truly want the patient to get better without making unnecessary visits. They have a very flexible schedule, and have always been able to get me in at the last minute, even though I didnt have an appointment. There is also a fantastic masseuse there which most insurance providers cover. Even though I dont see them much anymore, when I do, the staff is always a delight. My only regret is I wish I had found them sooner!

My husband and I both just returned from Afghanistan and we both go to see Dr. Holland at least twice a week. The treatment we get at all their offices is outstanding. All of the doctors are very friendly and personalize all of our visits. You can really tell that they care about our well being. They remember our names, and allow doctor visits to fit our schedule. Since we began our treatment about a month ago both of our pain has greatly improved. I just wish EVERY medical visit was like going to see Doc Holland and his team of professionals. I would def. refer this office and the others to ANYONE at ANYTIME! Not to mention they actively play a roll in the local community which is AWESOME!

My 14 year old son has been suffering from over use of his elbow due to pitching. We had been to the Dr to make sure nothing was broke. He plays travel baseball and does a lot of pitching. We had been laying off of the pitching for 8 months until it completely healed. It still was bothering him. I took him to Dr. Dan Geisler and he pin pointed what his problem was. My son followed Dr Geislers reccomendations and pitched the other night pain free!! The look on my sons face was priceless when he came off the field. I have gone to multiple chiropractors over the last twenty years and without any doubt Dr. Holland and the staff at First Capitol Chiropractic have provided the most outstanding personal service I have ever received. I have referred my parents, sister and her husband, aunts and uncles and close friends who have all shared the same wonderful experience. Dr. Holland was happy to meet my mother after hours on a weekend to aid in relieving her pain. If you live in Saint Charles or the surrounding area and suffer from back or neck pain as a result of a car accident or other incident, I highly recommend seeing Dr. Holland or one of his associates as you will not be disappointed.

I have been having severe headaches and neck pain for the past 4 months. On numerous medications and been to multiple doctors and no one has provided any relief. A friend suggested I go to the chiropractor, thought it was crazy to go to a chiropractor for a headache but I was desperate and tried it. I work in the same plaza as this office so decided to give them a try. Ive only been twice and am happy to say I havent needed pain meds since my second appt. The staff is very good with educating the clients and are helpful and always willing to answer questions or concerns. I will be refering anyone I know needs the help to this office.

Everyone was so nice and welcoming here! I had never been to a Chiropractor before and wasnt sure what to expect, but they are very educational and good at explaining exactly what is going to happen and why! I came in with severe headaches and hand numbness. I was having trouble sleeping and felt so much pressure I was having trouble function with no relief from meds. After my first visit, I left with no headache and feeling amazing! I slept so well over the weekend that I lost 2 lbs (I had been at a plateau for a month now!) I would 100% recommend this place to everyone and tell them how it is totally worth every penny!
