I was sick as a dog with strep and an ear infection and I didnt know where to go. When I walked in, the doctors & staff were very kind and helpful. Dr. Jessica was very professional and explained to me what was going on with my body (I didnt know it was strep AND an ear infection at the time) and instructed me on my medication. My negative feedback would be that the front desk is quite disorganized when it comes to the exit process. Other than someone charging me the copay, there was no debrief of the visit which is usually expected -- i.e. "Here are the instructions for getting your medicine", "Do you have any questions?", etc. I was nervous when I entered Duane Reade since I didnt get any indication that the doctor submitted my medicine. Overall, excellent medical group and I will be going there again -- this is feedback for the front office to remember an "exit interview" even if its just a short "Any questions regarding your visit we can clear up?"

When I first called to make my initial appointment, I asked for a doctor that was in my insurances inner circle. They said no problem and made an appointment with an MD. Being part of the inner circle means there would be $0 copay. For each visit I specifically asked if there was a copay and each time they said no. There is even a sign that says will not be seen unless copay is paid. So what do I get after a few months? A bill for missed co-payments. It seems very wrong for me to have to pay for the offices mistake. Also, wait times like others have mentioned are ridiculous. Average wait time in waiting room has been around 30mins. Average wait time after vitals done in room about 45 mins. I just needed a simple refill on a prescription which the MD eventually did after useless unwarranted EKG, which I have to pay for, and other unnecessary testing.

Do not choose Riverside as your primary care group. I had a 9:00am appointment that I arrived early for and sat in the waiting room for over a half hour before they put me in a room just to have a nurse take my vitals. I wasnt seen by anyone else until 9:50 when a medical student walked in. I was never seen by a doctor. I took time off work to have take the appointment which was a simple yearly checkup. Theres no reason they should be that delayed first thing in the morning and there was no apology. I expect my primary care physician to be professional an courteous, I made a time commitment to her that was not reciprocated. As a PCP youre supposed to be my first line of defense against any current or potential health issues. I need to rely on you, and I simply cant rely on Riverside after how I was treated.

Worst service ever. I went in for an annual physical which is supposed to be fully covered by my insurance as preventative care. I was billed additional fees for bogus diagnoses that she could not even treat, she instead referred me to specialists and charged me! Then I get a bill from LabCorp that they filed the blood work with them as outpatient non-preventative so I was also billed by LabCorp. I have been trying to resolve this for over a year now with no success. I spoke with the doctor and the office manager Martha Bussanich several times over the phone and they re-assured me that they would resubmit to LabCorp and get back to me. NO ONE EVER FOLLOWS UP. Its like an unorganized mess over there. Im amazed that they sent me to collections and I still have not heard back from Martha Bussanich as promised.

One of the worst experiences Ive had. I came for my appointment on time and was waiting for 30 min in the room for a nurse/ doctor. After waiting for that long, despite I was the only patient there, I went to front desk to ask when a nurse/ doctor was coming. Only after that the nurse came to measure my pulse and asked standard questions.and then they made me wait for a while again. I left the office without actually seeing the doctor. I respect my time, and if for any reasons the doctor was not able to see me on scheduled time, I would expect them to call me and reschedule my appointment before that.

I have been coming here with my daughter Alisa for 2 years now and we love this place. Its very clean and comfortable. All the nurses are very helpful and nice and Doctor Marina is my favorite, and my daughters absolute favorite! My daughter loves going to see her and she loves pretending to be doctor when she gets home! Dr Marina is very kind and patient, we never feel rushed. I love her direct no nonsense approach, she would tell you as it is. And she is very friendly too. She is someone you can definitely trust! We highly recommend this clinic and doctor Marina!

Im very satisfied with Essex groups. Especially Dr Marina. The first time when I took my 4 yrs son to see her because of his running nose and bad cough, the nurse gave him a bacteria test and it turned to be negative. When Dr Marina came, she had a careful examine and determined to gave my kid one more bacteria test to assure it. And finally the result is slightly positive which means there is infection indeed. Dr Marina is really careful and patient to every kid everytime. She is willing to talk with parents to release their nervousness.I strongly recommend her.

Awful - DO NOT GO HERE, EVER. All comments accurately describe the service u will get here. We called while bringing out son to ER. Had a 104 for 2 days.. we were instructed to not go to ER and please bring him into the office asap. We show up 5 minutes after that call at 9 am.. 11:30 I am writing this review from the waiting room and still no doctor anywhere, nothing giving for temp, my poor child would have been better off at home then this pointless visit.. simply unacceptable- if they were too busy to take us why would u call is in.. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER

If you enjoy waiting for hours to see the doctor then this is your place. I visited doctor Taubman a few times before because her office is conveniently located right next to my home. But every time I visit it takes at least an hour of waiting before you can actually see the doctor. This place advertises that "walk-ins are welcome". I had a free afternoon and decided to get some prescriptions. After waiting for two hours I finally gave up and left. This is the last time I visited this place. It just seems understaffed and inefficient.

The nurses there are usually great but the doctor Baker is very superficial and doesnt really listen or examine the little patients thoroughly. Last time when I was with my daughter who coughs for 2 month he didnt even used his stethoscope to listen her or ask her to cough. However, he found time during the visit to criticize us for not vaccinating the sick kid. So if you take your kid there Id recommend to ask who is in charge and go to the Dr. Marina Velickovic, she is the one to go.

Terrible, terrible, TERRIBLE. At this day and age they are still all paper. No computer usage to maintain records. I am leaving them. And they are giving a hard time with the record release. Either they will put you on hold, or they cant find documents, or it is not ready. It is SO annoying. 30years ago I had better experience visiting a doctors office. This is the worst. Only the office looks presentable. (I gave one star for that).
