I have been bringing my children here periodically, not as scheduled so I also get a slap on my wrist BUT my #1 red flag with Dental Kidz is that if your child needs a procedure done they do not allow the parent into the room. Therefore, you DO NOT get to OBSERVE what they are doing to your child. My 3 year old needed her front teeth examined, they said she had a cavity in between both teeth. Supposedly they were going to shave the tooth and insert some sort of preventative antibiotic.....Either way they did not do what they explained, instead they drilled both front teeth to a needle and my daughter came out TERRIFIED with 2 veneers in front. You would think that would be a decision I get to choose. I just recently went back, why? I dont know, and now they want to pull out both teeth. NOPE time to switch dentist and obtain a 2nd opinion. I wish I was given that opportunity previously with the 1st incident. DO NOT go to any DENTIST who does not allow you to have a say in your childs health and does not consult with you. DO NOT go to a dentist office that will NOT allow you to observe what they are doing. And like others have stated they TAKE A VERY LONG TIME. Allow at least 2.5 hours for the total visit. There is NOT much of a personal relationship and you DO feel like your child is on an assembly line. It would be quite difficult for you to establish a patient relationship because of how the dental visit is structured. All of the staff is kind and patient. It is just time to try a different Dentist, maybe for the better.

Both of my boys have been coming to Dental Kidz since they were toddlers, Overall I Love them. They are friendly, & very knowledgeable. They have taken really good care of my childrens teeth since the beginning, and have not lead me in the wrong direction when it comes to recommendations, & care. As with any growing practice there are growing pains, I am sad that they are unable to offer Saturday appointments at the moment, so it requires me to take time away from work, & I would like to see them get an Orthodontist on staff daily so that I am not constricted to only Friday appointments for my oldest to have his braces adjusted. I continuously recommend family and friends many of which are current members of Dental Kidz also, & have the same great feedback form the practice, my niece will be coming to them shortly. I love seeing Dr. Leven-Harvell in the office as well, I would like to see her provide the diagnosis/suggestion or recommendations to myself & other parents instead of referring us to her assistant, It creates a more personable & trusting relationship between us and her. I have seen her in the office many times, but I dont have the Parent/Doctor relationship with her that I would prefer like I do with the Both Dr. Reem & the Orthodontist.

My son had a visit scheduled and I arrived with the paperwork already completed only to wait over an hour to be seen. Once inside the patient area, it was clear that my son would have no privacy. They brought 4 children in all at the same time and lined them up on chairs and the hygienists began working on cleaning the childrenshould teeth in an assembly line. Then after the children cried and ran around, we all waited for the dentist to come. When she came in, she worked on each child in the same assembly line fashion and referred the patient and parent to her assistant for his/her diagnosis. After waiting over 2 hours to see the dentist, I wanted to know why wasnt the dentist giving me the diagnosis and that I had some questions. She had me put into another room then referred me to another dentist. It is a shame that this dentist did the want to engage in a conversation with her patient who this was their 1st time at her office and had a few questions or concerns. The receptionist and hygienist were so scared or put off that they referred me to the office manager. Why work and operate a business in a community where you have no respect for its members? I wont take my child back here again.... EVER!!

My daughter has been going to them since she was six months old. I always take her for a 6 months follow up and she has never had cavities or issue. Recently my daughter has a front teeth that is growing and the old teeth will not fall off. I call them to ask can I bring my daughter and because shes complaining of pain. Im told that she cannot be seen no matter what even if the child is complaining of pain. Next I asked the receptionist, shes in a lot of pain and all I want to do is just take a look at why she is in pain. There receptionist told me, " no we cannot se her, Im sorry we are not booked up until September theres nothing they can do". My next question to her was do you guys even care about the child thats complaining about the pain. She gave me the same response...sadly! I guess children are not really their priority... I will not be bringing my daughter back there again.

Very uncomfortable. They took my child into a procedure room without allowing me inside. This isnt major surgery - its a dental procedure and you honestly think Im letting my child in a room with her and her husband......and hes an administrator . . . not a clinician? My trust level is not there nor should any parent. Then the husband walks up to me with his clipboard to discuss paying upfront costs . . . . and I should get reimbursed from my insurance company. Never again.I wanted to support her cause she went to the Dental School in Newark, but Im not comfortable with this place and did not like her husband.. Outside of that, parking in the area is atrocious; the wait time is horrible, the office staff seems scared straight of her husband as he circles around the office. Not a business I want to patronize with my good insurance.

I love Dental Kidz!!!! I have been bringing my girls to Dr. Lezli and her awesome team for over 3 years now. I have never seen children so happy at the dentist. They love interacting with the lovely ladies at the front desk. Barbara, Martina, and Aiesha are warm and friendly. They always greet you with a smile and will go above and beyond to make sure you have all your questions answered. They even paid for my parking when we decided to have our child treated with sedation. Dr Lezli and Dr Reem are the best combo since my beloved Jordan and Pippen. They are both very helpful and never make you feel bad that your kids have cavities. They take the time to explain how to prevent it from happening again. What can I say, I love this place. I only wish they treated adults. Keep up the good work guys.

Ive been brining my daughter since she was 6 months. Its unfortunate to say that the service has completely deteriorated. - staff is uncaring - terrible bedside manner - ridiculously long wait time (patient will not be called before a minimum of 2 hour wait) - the dentist doesnt answer any questions or explain any procedure its all done through the hygienists Who I might add are careless Iam a working mother as am sure many of us are, I have to actually take a day off to bring the kids to the dentist, and if a lot of work needs to be done Ive found my self taking a day off every couple of weeks to come here . Its is absolutely ridiculous and needs to be looked into. They need to improve. As for me this will be my last time here. And I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS OFFICE TO ANY OTHER PARENTS.
