Dr. McMillin is simply the best! I first came to ProAcive Spine Care about two years ago with chronic headaches, taking 800 mg of ibuprofen and other over the counter medications several times a day. Dr. McMillin thoroughly examined me before coming up with an proactive short term treatment plan to quickly reduce the pain and get me completely off medication. I mention short term because my prior experience with chiropractors is they want you to feel instant relief that isnt long lasting to keep you scheduling appointments. My experience with Dr. McMillin was just the opposite. While he treated me proactively in the beginning, within a short period of time I was coming in bi-weekly, monthly and eventually only for maintenance whenever I felt necessary. He taught me exercises to strengthen my neck to and alleviate pressure. However, whenever I have an occasional flare up, he fits me in quickly and within a few visits I am back to feeling wonderful. Those who suffer from chronic headaches know how miserable it is; however, deciding to see Dr. McMillin truly changed my life and the way I feel on a daily basis. Also, I am completely off of medication for headaches. Less than a week I injured my lower back lifting my 35 pound son. I was in excruciating pain over the weekend. I decided to email Dr. McMillin trying to see what I could do to be proactive about my injury and to alleviate my pain until I could be seen. Despite it being the weekend, Dr. McMillin responded almost immediately. Today is Wednesday, and I am already feeling 75% better after just a few visits. He says that I should be back to my normal exercise routine by next week. Even yesterday, I wouldn’t have believed it. Today, I do. Dr. McMillin is extremely knowledgeable and experienced. He will go above and beyond for his patients. I highly recommend him as the best chiropractor in town - hands-down. Also, his office staff is always friendly, welcoming outgoing and prompt with every patient that walks in the door.

Dr. Austin McMillin is hands down the very best chiropractor I have ever been a patient with! I came in with neck, back, shoulder and rib pain. He sent me for X-rays and explained what was going on with me and worked out a treatment plan that would not only start me on the road to recovery, but also explained, why I was having pain. He was very professional and patient. He listened and cared about my pain level and was not over aggressive to rush me through treatments as most chiropractors are. His office is very clean and welcoming. Brittany Kimbrough, office manager, is trained to help and assist patients with questions concerning insurance, pain, treatment and will always have a smile and make you feel taken care of. Chelsy, front desk, greets with smile! She is very professional, caring and prompt to help with any scheduling needs! Nellie Bolman, massage therapist, is awesome!!!!!! She has a sense of knowing how to relieve pain with her knowledge of muscles tendons, scar tissue, joints basically the human structure! She has trained others in this area of expertise! She is very professional and caring and has such passion about helping patients get out of pain! I would urge anyone with any pain to bypass any other office and go straight to Dr. Austin McMillin! He is the only one in 25+ years that has ever diagnosed and helped me! I honestly dont have the words to express the deep appreciation, devotion and trust that I have with Dr. McMillin and his team! He has even called on off hours to follow up on my pain and you just cant receive better treatment and care that that!!!!

I highly recommend Dr Austin McMillan for any chiropractic issues you may have. I have several neck and back injuries that Dr McMillan has treated with much success over the years. He has also treated my 19 year old daughter that suffers from severe headaches. Dr McMillan has reduced her head pain. I wish I would have brought her to him sooner. Dr McMillan is the real deal. He is incredibly intelligent in his field of chiropractic care and also extremely personable. You feel comfortable and at home when in his care. He is extremely passionate about helping his patients. Recently, my elderly dad was suffering from severe pain in his chest that went through his back. He was unable to sleep or move. I took him to Dr McMillan. Dr McMillan immediately diagnosed him with a rib issue and took the time to treat and educate him. My dad is so grateful as am I. He has helped my dad, my daughter, and myself. I have referred several friends to him who feel the same way. I found Dr McMillan initially due to a friends recommendation. I trust him completely with my family knowing they are in the best hands! He will give you his full attention, properly diagnose, educate, and treat you with patience and a friendly demeanor. Dr McMillan is constantly ahead of the curve with the latest news on whats best for your health. If you are suffering from any kind of pain, I highly recommend Dr McMillan without reservation.

BEST DC EVER! I have been a patient for over 13 years and will be for life! Dr. McMillin has given me quality of life that would have not been possible without his care. I came to him on recommendation after recovering from a motocross accident that left me with two broken legs. My situation was rather complicated as I was only 15 at the time of the accident and grew while in my wheelchair. My right leg healed shorter than my left, leaving me with a 10 degree offset in my spine. A year after the accident I was unable to function. I couldnt see strait, I had migraines so bad that I started vomiting, and was in constant pain from my hips to my neck. Dr. McMillin treated me like I was his own child. He took an extensive amount of time examining my x-rays, touching pressure points, and asking me what I felt at each stage. His calm demeanor and attentiveness to my needs made me feel very safe in a time of internal fear and anxiety. After my first visit I was a bit sore because I had been out of alignment for so long. But my head ache was gone when I left the office, and after only a month I felt better than I did before my accident. I feel blessed to call this man my Doctor, and I am forever grateful to him and the calling he followed to heal others. THANK YOU TO DR. MCMILLIN AND THE ENTIRE STAFF OF PROACTIVE SPINE CARE!!!

I used to be a long time believer that going to a chiropractor would not help. I had shoulder and neck pain on and off for years. Well it finally got so bad I was willing to try anything and I was referred to Proactive Spine Care. Boy was I WRONG! Dr. McMillin and his staff are wonderful. He actually LISTENED to my concerns and put me at ease. It seems rare to find a doctor that actually does more than just nod and pretend to listen, but he did! I have been going to him off and on. Not just for my shoulder anymore either. That still has it flare ups, but it is not something that will ever be "normal" again because of me, not taking care of myself. I would recommend him and his staff to anyone and have. Brittany, the office manager, addresses you by name when you walk in. Always has a smile and a laugh when you come in. Dr. McMillin always asks about your day and listens to your response. You defiantly are not just a number when you enter. I love this place!!
