I was disappointed with dr. Colby. I had a minor rash on my chin/jaw which she said was an acne. In my opinion, it wasnt acne at all (I never had acne, except for an occasional pimple), more likely it was a type of a rash or dermatitis. She didnt take time to listen or look for causes, just gave me an antibiotic as for a simple acne. More than that, I didnt like the office environment with Angelina Jolie on the screen and the examples of cosmetic enhancements. I would expect to see pictures of skin disorders such as egzema, psoriaris and their treatments... May be I was in a wrong place to begin with. Anyway, looking for another doctor...

Ive been seeing Dr. Colby for about 18 years. She has always gone above and beyond the call of duty. She started working with me in my early 30s. Because of her I took care of my skin and at this point have not suffered the same fate as others in my family with skin cancer. She also has cared for my children, AND helped us with oncologists when my husband had cancer. I believe she is the utmost professional and caring in her field. We will miss her some day hopefully in the FAR future when she decides to retire. One in a million.

I loved my visit to California Skin! The Dr. was extremely professional, and very thorough. She described my options, their costs, and their advantages/disadvantages. I got the feeling that she really cared about me and my visit! The rest of the staff were equally professional and helpful. They reiterated and expanded on the doctors advice and helped me with my prescription. I felt completely taken care of, and I recommend them all very highly. I wish all doctors were this helpful!

I guess they realized they were going downhilll, so my two favorite doctors bailed ship. They are awful. i tried Dr. Koo, what an absolute con artist. Tried to get me to do things to my face that I would NEVER ever have done just to make money. So sickening. Dont go there. They used to have an unbelievable business model about doing whats right for their patients, and now its all about milking patients out of the most money. I cant write a worse review than this.
