Unprofessional and unreliable. I wouldnt return to this clinic if I was paid to do so. I went to Dr. Baumans office a few months ago for a basic skin check and some blood work. The office staff was reasonably professional, though cold, I felt like I was making their lives harder simply by showing up. (I was on time and polite). I met with one of the PAs and again, she was reasonably professional, though she had an assistant of some sort, (possibly a student, I was never entirely clear on who she was) with her, bringing the total number of people other than me in the room up to three. This was uncomfortable and seemed extremely unprofessional. The skin check seemed cursory and was far from thorough. When I mentioned wanting blood drawn to check iron levels as I have historically been low I was again treated to the feeling I was making everyones life difficult, it was very off-putting. The lack of professionalism really started however when, several days later I still had no information on my blood results. When I finally called the office they actually could not find my lab information at first and had to call back. The call back consisted of someone telling me everything "seemed fine," and absolutely no other information. The woman actually seemed to be in a rush to get off the phone. My frustration with this place is very high, I certainly wont be returning.

To Whom it may concern: Dr. Baumans office is one of the most professional that I have had the good fortune to visit. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Bauman. She is amazing, she recognizes what you need and performs in an efficient and caring way. I am a blue eyed blonde who over the years spent a lot of time in the sun & have visited many dermatology offices. She helps me with my skin problems as they arise. I wouldnt go to anyone else. I now get compliments, wherever I go, for my lovely skin. I owe it all to Dr. Bauman and her staff, who are very upbeat and caring. She also treats my husband and on a recent visit recognized my husbands problem as potentially serious and sent him to a skin surgeon. He followed her advice and is doing well since the skin surgery, thanks to Dr. Carla Bauman and her staff. I highly recommend them all, there are none better.

Dr. Bauman is by far the worst doctor Ive seen thus far. She herds people through her office as if we are cattle spending roughly 5 minutes at each visit. While having a complete skin exam she asks, "What spots are you concerned about?" She looked only at those spots and called that a complete skin exam. Obviously, since I"m not a trained physician, Im left questioning about the remainder of my unexamined skin. She should also read her patient notes a little more carefully as she almost excised the wrong area for biopsy after having been numbed, I question her about excising the wrong spot. I could go on as Ive had worse things happen in this office, but for her sake and for my privacy, Ill leave the rest un-posted. Save your time and see someone who truly cares about the well being of her patients and not how much she earns in a year.

I tried to make appointment for my son with DR BAUMAN. The day before the appointment, I called to confirm the appointment. The scheduler told me that my son had appointment with Nurse Practioner (NP). I said I did not make the appointment with NP; I made with Dr Bauman. Cancelled appointment and re-schduled. I asked SPECIFICALLY for Dr. BAUMAN. Again, the scheduler said yes this time with Dr Bauman. Today (4/15), I called to confirm the appointment and AGAIN, they moved my appointment without telling me and with NP again. This is a very bad, unprofessional clinic. No one introduced their name when they answered the phone..... I DISLIKED THIS CLINIC. RECOMMENDATION TO RUN AWAY FROM THIS CLINIC. WASTING YOUR PRECIOUS TIME WITH THIS UNPROFESSIONAL TEAM. THEY ARE NOT THE ONLY DERMATOLOGY IN TOWN. SUCK.... BAD....

Ive been there a couple of times, but the last time was the only time I met the doctor (the assistant treated me until now). THe doctor is a prick. She thinks of herself highly intelligent and knowledgeable, and the others are morons that need translation from her highly sophisticated medical language. She just left when I asked for more information, saying Im in good hands with the assistant. Considering what theyre putting me through for what should be a very simple treatment, and the totally confusing and very conflicting information, Id say Im not in good hands. This was my last time there. Did I mention that even this time theyve made the same mistake as last time ? I will probably need to treat it again. For what should be a one-time, 10 minutes deal.

I started seeing Dr Bauman about 9 years ago. She was great - very skilled thorough and good in what she did. I always recommended her as a good doctor. But over time - her practice has deteriorated to the extent that I do not want to go to her anymore. Even though she is very skilled, her behavior has become intimidating & rude. Any question asked to her is taken as an offense and the answer comes in as "how dare you ask this". She did a little procedure for my child and in the after care my child kept on saying I feel a plastic thread left in my skin and Dr Bauman just shut me & my child up. We went to another dermatologist & found that indeed Dr Bauman had left a piece of plastic in the skin .... horrifying !!

I had a Mohs surgery on my nose twenty years ago. The Dr who did the surgery left the area and I began seeing Dr Bauman and have been seeing her regularly for over 10 years. She has removed several pre-cancerous areas plus did a difficult squamous cell surgery on the top of the hand below middle finger bone, it was a fragile area. She has done other skin cancer surgeries, none have been serious. I am grateful for her cautious approach to anything suspicious on my skin. Her staff has always been courteous, friendly and very informative. I highly recommend her, she is very busy but never too busy to make time for your needs. Glenda Coma

Do your research patients before you put your trust in this office. Their reviews here and on yelp are alarming, considering they are supposed to be medical professionals. We found a very big lack in professionalism coupled with a plethora of misfortunate medical and administrative mistakes. The only high rating for this office is the high rate of turnover of their staff, which speaks volumes to the lack of stability and integrity of this office. I would never recommend this office and I regret the time and money we spent there, Particularly with Shane Keck.

Will, I cant say I loved the fact that I had a very large cyst that had to be removed. I can however say I loved the fact that Dr. Bauman was able to remove it. It had grown roots into my muscle. This was at least 9 years ago. I havent had a problem since. Her staff has now found some precancerous cells on a regular exam. I am so happy that Dr. Bauman and her staff have taken such good care of me. They have been able to see me right away when I needed them. They even took care of my daughter. Give me a professional, knowlegeable, skilled Doctor any time!
