Fairly poor overall experience so far; I showed up 20 minutes early to my second appointment. I was taken into the back on time, but after the nurse I waited for over 30 minutes before I saw anyone else, and longer after that before the doctor actually saw me. During this appointment, they were going back and forth whether I was supposed to get any labs done the same day before starting my new medication. They ultimately said I wouldnt have to for a week, which was a relief to me. When I went to checkout, I ended up waiting a for another few minutes (no big deal) because the front desk was occupied with talking about their personal hobbies with someone else checking in. Cool. It wasnt until I got home, 30 minutes away, that they called me back and said they had forgotten to get my signature on something they needed before I could get my prescription. Then they also told me I have to get labs done same day before they continue. Very frustrating since I was going to use the lab below them to get it done, and I could have saved a trip if they knew what they were doing and told me the right information while I was still there. Ill just have to get the labs done somewhere close to me after all, oh well. It doesnt end there. They charged me twice for the copay. I called and no one answered, so I have no explanation yet as to why. Just a mountain of lame. I am considering going somewhere else, overall very frustrated with this office, although the actual services they provide SEEM pretty good, I cant tell as Ive not started seeing any results yet.

My name is Cassidy McDowell and I was referred here by my family physician. After being on over a month long waiting list I was finally going into Miller Family Dermatology to meet with Dr. Miller; Id been anticipating this appointment for a long time hoping to resolve my medical concern. When he walked into the room he didnt even bother to sit down, he spoke with me only for about 15 minutes at the very most; all while his assistant was standing in the tiny room fiddling with her Ipad. The lack of privacy, care, and intimacy shocked me. Nothing was resolved in this quick, seemingly pointless appointment, he told me to return with my lab results for a follow up. I brought in my lab results no more than two days later. Weeks went by and I heard nothing back. I called the office and heard nothing until I just gave up. To my surprise I was mailed a $98 bill. For what? Absolutely none of my questions were answered, Dr. Miller was no help to me at all. I met with him for no more than 15 minutes, figured nothing at all out, and was charged almost $100 for it. I will never return here. I am astonished at the horrible service I experienced. These people made me feel like another unimportant, lowlife customer who will just hand them money.

Overall the experience was pretty insightful and honestly cleared up my issue almost completely. I had made an appointment for severe acne and scarring, during this appointment Dr. Miller asked about my skin type (I later learned there was a term for it), reactions, what Ive tried, etc. I found this to be incredibly helpful and honestly made him seem more personable and actually concerned/wanting to help. Like the name of the clinic, he definitely treated me with concern and honestly like a family member. For the treatment he started off with gentle serums and creams, as these didnt work he eventually worked his way up in severity. After a couple followups and little improvement we got me on accutane. This helped incredibly and I do appreciate that he didnt want to jump to the most severe solution. Years later I continue to go back to Miller Family Dermatology on mole checkups and anything skin related.

I took my one year old son to have Dr. Arlo Miller look at the rash on his cheek. He wasnt available so Valerie Cooper did the consult. She was not sure about the rash so she stepped out of the room and miraculously Dr. Miller was available. Dr. Miller opened the door and leaned up against the door frame, looked at my son for a few seconds, and told me he had lupus. I went for a second opinion with a real caring dermatologist and she had blood work done and asked me real questions that pertained to a lupus diagnosis. After getting the results back everything was negative. Dr. Miller had me worried FOR MONTHS before I could get in with a different dermatologist. Dr. Miller had horrible bedside manner and clearly does not follow up or care for his patients. I would not recommend anyone to see him. I am not able to give a no star review without posting this so I am forced to give a one star review.

I had what I thought was a routine visit to look at an unusual bump on my skin, and it turned out to be anything but routine. I found the care and explanations of the doctor and staff to be very helpful, and their sense of urgency and compassion to be "as good as it gets," in Yelp-talk. In fact, it was better than that. I found that they practiced the Platinum Rule ("Treat others as you wish that others could treat you") rather than the mere Golden Rule. While the staff were coordinating the next steps in my care, I searched the internet (on their free wifi) and found that the doctor was following the state-of-the-art treatment plan, and acting with old-fashioned interaction and communication from the doctor and staff. My kids have received successful acne treatment at Miller Family Dermatology, and I am delighted that I chose this team.

Dr. Miller provided excellent care. His office staff were friendly and helpful in every interaction. A series of tests revealed my allergies and my quality life has improved as a result. I would never have guessed lavender was the source of my problems. I was bathing in it, using lavender lotion, doing my laundry with it lavender scented soap, mopping my floor with it and drinking lavender tea while sprinkling lavender spice on my food! Thank You Dr Miller PS And minor mole removal in his office was done without a return visit. It was quick, painless and over before I knew he had started.

My whole family has exceptionally sensitive and allergy prone skin. My son, age 7, is especially anxious about going to the doctor. The staff made him feel like a rock star. Dr. Miller made him feel special and listened intently to him. I appreciate that he didnt talk over him. I hate it when care providers do that. All in all - we are on the mend and so grateful to have Miller Family Dermatology as a resource. We live in Auburn and made the drive. It was worth the gas. I promise you wont regret it.

The 3 members of my family have been patients for a year. The front desk is rude and unprofessional. Either dont answer, put you on hold until you give up or have a certain attitude. Rarely polite! The doctor doesnt seem interested on your concerns. The only reason I visited was because I couldnt prescibe my own meds. Learned more about our conditions from the internet that with our visits. Would not recommend.

Had my psoriasis flair up over the weekend and asked for a prescription refill as skin was inflamed, painful and was advised Dr wouldnt refill since its been a year since last visit, need an appointment - so I asked for appointment - told full for 2+ weeks. I asked for exception - was transferred to his staff, told i would receive a reply that same day - never did. Ridiculous.
