My sister recommended this office to me after she had taken my nephew there. She told me the doctor was very patieint with her son - he was not an easy little kid to work with (honestly). She was very pleased with the experience. Therefore I decided to give it a try and went there for my acne problems. I have very oily skin and have been fighting with acne most of my adulthood. I also have family history of skin cancer, its important for me to stay on top of the regular skin check. The front staff was very helpful when I set up my appointment. I had some questions about my insurance coverage and their billing manager was able to explain to me till I understood. That was a good start... The doctor was very professional and proactive. He made some recommendations and they have been working well for me. I have been there for 2 appointments so far and I am very happy with the imporvement. The office staff are all very nice and courteous. I will be coming here regularly for my skin cancer screening.

NOT AS EXPECTED MY CONCERN WAS SKIN TAGS AND SAGGY SKIN TREATMENT. HE JUST SAW THE ARE EFFECTED AND SAID NO MEDICINE AVAILABLE FOR TREATMENT OF SKIN TAGS INSTEAD HE SUGGESTED TO GO FOR S REMOVAL OF SKIN TAG AT A COST OF $ 150 FOR EACH SKIN TAG TO BE REMOVED. AFTER A FRIEND REFERAL I STARTED USING DERMATEND -A OVER THE COUNTER CREAM FOR COMPLEAT CURE OF THE SKIN TAG. IT WAS SO EFFECTIVE BOTH COST AND EFFICACY WISE. ABOUT MY SAGGY SKIN, THIS DOCTOR SIMPLY SAID TO GO TO A COSMETIC SURGEON AND GAVE A REFERAL SLIP. HIS WEBSITE CLEARLY SHOWS THAT THEY PERFORM ALL KINDS OF SURGERIES.AND SKIN TREATMENTS. AFTER TAKING THE $ 45 C0-PAY AND ALSO FROM MY INSURANCE THE OVER ALL EXPERIENCE IS VERY MUCH DISSATISFIED.AND VERY POOR I WILL NEVER SUGGEST TO ANY OF MY FRIENDS.OR RELATIVES.

Receptionists and the medical assistants were more of a help then the dermatologist, I hardly seen him mostly was in contact with the assistants throughout my time being seen here. Commuted from gilroy to be seen here biggest head ache of my life!! Traffic sucked the treatment I recieved was not adequate... no one listened to my concerns... they looked at me like I was an idiot at times I felt like I was more aware of my symptoms then they were... they just wanted to cash my insurance check and kick me out the door I swear... the current dermatologist I am seeing is 10 more attentive and thoroughly also more caring to expect and examine my skin.

My visit was a waste of time. I went in for an annual skin exam and he barley even looked me over and said he didnt see anything alarming. I also told him my skin has been irritated since moving to San Jose several years ago and he took a quick glance and prescribed me antibiotics for a 6 week period and topical cream. He didnt ask me one question about diet, stress, allergies, etc. Id expect a more thorough exam and at least one question about lifestyle before going straight to prescriptions
