New to the area and was trying to find a vet... So we tried this! Went to this hospital a few times... until...... The evil secretary gets involved. Tried 5 times to get heart worm for my dog, We even had the documents faxed, because the secretary couldnt read our dogs medical papers correctly. We had it faxed in the morning (5th time arguing with secretary) and she had the fax papers all day until we had our appointment in the evening. The vet exam went well and charged us $120 for the exam and medications for our dogs split nail (scheduled a surgery for $375) the vet gave us our heart worm, FINALLY! I go to check out and the secretary we have been speaking to about the heart worm for over a month to keep our puppy happy said, "Wait wait, the doctor gave you heart worm?" and she darts off like a psycho to get the vet and some how got the heart worm provoked after faxes and numerous phone calls from our vet back home were sent. I didnt feel this place was professional, especially for a vet to take a secretarys opinion, we do pay for the doctor, right? That was the last straw, I am not going to deal with a (you know what) when I am spending 100-500 a vet visit. The people at the desk put a front on the beginning, but then their true colors show! I called my vet back home and had him fax our medical records to our new animal hospital, Animal Central! Not only did they give us better service they were much more hospitable and made my pup and I feel welcomed. We got the surgery, 6 months of heart worm (without all the issues from psycho lady.. ), extra medication, nails clipped all for $231!!! They really enjoyed the story I shared with you all and they made us feel welcomed, it felt good. It Animal central gave awesome service I wouldnt have cared to spend $200 extra, its all about the service and this Indian tree was horrible at it. I wrote the owner of this place with no reply and no one even apologized from this event. After getting quotes and shopping this place is rip off for what you have to deal with. Also, the new vet only assigns one doctor to your pup, so you want have a different person every time you visit. its not just a hospital, but a business and this place just doesnt meet my standards. Dont let the other reviews fool you, anyone can leave a positive comment even their staff!

Dr. Hein was on vacation when I called about my lethargic Golden Retriever. Per usual, everyone at Indian Tree was so very nice and patient with me as I voiced my concerns. Abby was able to be seen that day and met Dr. Russell. Both of us think she is wonderful. An exam didnt show anything was wrong, However she said a blood test and/or X-ray may help rule out a hidden serious condition. Abby is a scavenger, finding dried grass/dirt clumps, moss, and whatever to sample. Dr. Russell suggested Abby try a probiotic for 7 days. If I wanted to try that and wait to have blood work done, I could later bring her for a blood draw and would not be charged another office visit. She followed-up to see if Abby was feeling better. Dr. Hein is our primary vet, but I have now seen two other Doctors and all been great, each taking time to answer my concerns. Everyone at Indian Tree professional, caring, and kind. The staff at the front desk could not be sweeter. I highly recommend Indian Tree for your fur babies!

Possibly the worst vet Ive ever been to. I took my cat here a few years ago trying to find out why he had been throwing up for 2 months. They suggested x-rays which I understand and found nothing. Blood work came back fine as well. The vet then said they wanted to do exploratory surgery, said it is a routine surgery and that theyd only need to cut open an inch or two. Come to find out, after doing research, that no they would not have to cut him open an inch or two, theyd have to cut more like 9 inches! After a second opinion, we found out that he had developed an allergy due to Science Diet, a food that they had recommended. Once we switched him to another food he got better with in a couple weeks. Never had they asked about the food he was on or suggested a change in diet, no they wanted to perform a very unneeded and costly surgery. I feel that this vet only looks to gain money and not the welfare of the pets.

Our dog Ruby is 15 and shes been a patient at Indian Tree Hospital for about 14 of those years. I honestly, truly cant say enough positive things about the vets and staff at ITAH. Through all the routine exams and the more emergent visits, they are the most caring and concerned individuals. I have had lengthy phone conversations with Dr. Hein and Dr. Russell about whats going on with our pooch and what decisions make the most sense for us and for her. They are incredibly patient with me and dote on her so we couldnt love them more. From the staff at the front counter to the vet techs and Drs. Hein, Russell, and Leach, theyre all A+ in my book. The photo below is Ruby with her "doggles" on for her CO2 laser therapy, which is one of the non-invasive services they provide, along with acupuncture. They love our dog, and I know we arent special--theyre that way with all their patients.

Indian Tree is the best facility in the Denver area. The staff and doctors are wonderful. Dr. Hein is the best Veterinarian I have ever come across. She is so caring, smart and doesnt try and charge for unnecessary tests or procedures. That for me is huge. A lot of Vets will gouge you for things your pet doesnt even need. I love that the office looks like a little chalet too! Highly recommended. Its the only place I will take my dogs too. Early this year my two old doggies needed to be put to sleep. A horrible time for me. Indian Tree has a private room where you spend time with your baby before its time to say goodbye. One of the hardest days of my life was made comfortable and handled with the utmost care and understanding. They even have a side door you leave from. It made things so much easier. Now I have a new puppy who just met Dr. Hein, and she of course, loves her!

Recently I adopted a male cat for Adams county Animal Shelter...he had not yet had a rabies vaccine but it was Saturday (no Vet on Weekends) so we had to bring him back on Monday. We got his shot on Monday and this poor beautiful cat has been sick ever since. I did research about side effects of rabies and it seemed like my cat had all of the symptoms, so I did not worry too much, and he continued to get worse. After 3 days I took him to Indian Tree and found that he had upper respiratory infection and it was pretty bad. The vet gave him a shot of antibiotics, a shot for hydration and eye ointment. Although my cat is still sick, he is so much better and improves every day. Very grateful to the staff at Indian Tree for having weekend hours, and such a caring and gentle staff.
