My cat is a shelter cat and already had 6 teeth out, so Ive been very concerned about his dental health and wanted to make sure he didnt lose anymore. I havent been to the dentist myself in 2 years, but I made sure my cat got his checkup. I took my cat in for routine dental checkup, the vet said it looked like he had a little plaque and probably needed their intermediate cleaning for $300. They also said it would be possible to split the payment on an account with up to 6 months to repay. When we arrived in the morning they told me if anything came up theyd call me. I let them know Id have my phone on hand all day. They called to let me know the procedure was done and that hed be ready at 4pm. When I arrived to pick him up they told me theyd extracted THREE teeth. No one had called to let me know, it was a total shock! They tried to tell me cats dont NEED their teeth. Now Im wondering if he really needed three extractions? They act like his teeth are totally unimportant! Moreover they said the only way to split up payments would have been some credit card I would have had to sign for so I ended up paying $500 at time of check out. It seems to me that money is more important to them than my cats teeth. I wanted to save whatever teeth he had left, they did not inform me of extractions, and then acted like cats teeth are totally unimportant. Will NOT go again.

I love this place! Here, they care about the only important thing: The health, happiness, and safety of animals. They arent trying to get your money at any cost, theyre trying to prolong the life of your dearest pet. The vets NEVER push unnecessary testing, drugs, prescriptions, etc. They empower you to make your own decisions regarding your animals health by giving clear, concise information and laying out all options for you to think about. If a health situation arises, they give the pros and cons of each treatment option. I once asked for anxiety medicine when I moved, recently, and they kindly told me about medicine-free alternatives that would be better than drugs. I cannot recommend this place enough. I have never had such a wonderful experience with a group of people that respected animals comfort and happiness so much.

Ive been going here for over 6 years with 2 Siberian Huskies and 2 cats. One of my cats died under their care, due to severe overdose of Methimazole. Then today Im left in the waiting room for 40 minutes past my appointment time with a 5 month old kitten. Shes under clear instructions to remain calm following a pleural effusion and was at a level beyond 10 on stress charts. Surrounded by whining crying dogs that also were crammed into the tiny waiting room. I walked out after deciding the chance of losing another cat due to their negligence was too high. Find vets with compassion and intelligence, because theirs is gone!!!

Mandalay is a great facility for your pet. Caring and kind staff and Doctors. Our dog has had to have several surgeries and now after 13 years they are helping us navigate the end of life issues that come with Lymphoma. Great folks, I would absolutely recommend them. Solid folks who are always responsive and balanced to our needs as pet owners. Frank

I came here 14 yrs. ago after horrible with experiences another vet. Dr. Humphrey gave my pup a lot longer life than we expected. The most compassionate staff Ive ever encountered and Ive had animals since I was a kid. Will never go anywhere else.

Dr. Mohapp brought my dog back to life when doctors in another hospital gave up on her. He has experience and intuition. I used to go to a different veterinary facility every time, not any more, Dr. Mohapp is simply the best.

Not impressed. Waiting room was not very clean and smelled dirty. Dr who saw my dog seemed very uninterested and didnt ask any routine questions, I had to offer up all the information. Will not be taking my pets back here.

Our toy Yorki-Poo recently visited this hospital for spaying and dental extractions. They were very caring and competent and had the best prices in the area. She acted like nothing ever happened two days later!

I love my animals but Dr. Wilson gave me no options about what I needed to consider regarding my cat w diabetes. Save the cat at all costs ... nevermind the reality of what it looked like for the cat AND me.

They didnt have any way for us to get our pets paw print when we had to put her down. Pretty disappointing considering how important it was to us.

Dr Humphry is great. Dr. Mohapp is pretty good, although we havent had much experience with him. Avoid Dr. Wilson.
