We came from out of town n we had a 8 week old puppy we bought out here in Denver we only had him for about a week n he starting getting sick so we brought him here n he tested positive for Porvo so they needed to keep him n hospitalize him for a few days which would of cost us 4000 to 5000 we didnt hve the money so the doctor recommended to put him to sleep which really devastated us n my kids...didnt want to see him suffer so we signed the papers well later that day we get a call n said one of the employees wanted him which we were like ok as long as he doesnt pass on but she also stated that they began treating him threw out the day when we thought are lil guy passed on already!! Which we didnt consent to that all..but they wud not work with us on payments we came out here with a puppy n left without one staff was rude n cruel... We kinda think they had this planned n my kids r very hurt by this n were gonna be talking to r lawyer cause they wanted to charge us extremely amount of money but I bet the employee will not hardly pay anything n this puppy was are family my childrens first pet how could they do this they wanted are puppy n we signed papers in morning n then called us in afternoon doesnt make sense to us see and a few days before we came out here we took him to r vet n there were no signs of Porvo they didnt even want to show us the test results out here this was the most horrible feeling we hve ever went threw n trying to comfort my children they had something up there sleeve which isnt adding up but Im on my way back home b coming Monday Im going be talking to a few people this happened yesterday June 11 2016 n my kids r crushed by this please read reviews on Yelp...very helpful they took are puppy under false pretenses..took our puppy to vet out here where we live n he had a bad case of bacteria which she was treating him for there were no signs at all of Porvo but we took him there on are trip cause he wasnt eating n they said they suspected Porvo something is wrong here Im not going to leave this alone Im going to continue this to get are puppy back!!!!they made my husband sign a paper but they didnt ask for my signature n Im actually the owner my husband is co owner that puppy was mine under my name so the paper isnt legal until I sign it I have proof that Im the owner of lil sisco my name was on paper also but I didnt sign it!!!!!he is mine Im the owner I will not go away until I get to bottom of this Im going to media so they could hear my story and my family n I could get are baby back!!!i will do everything I possible can to get are baby home with his family!!!!!!i have lots of proof n wat they did is illegal in so many levels

These people are as sloppy as they are unprofessional. I made the mistake of taking my beloved pet rabbit here. First off, while my pet was being examined, a cat under their care decided to curl up in the water fountain and take a nap. I wanted a drink of water, and after the staff saw the cat, they just commented on its cuteness, rather than cleaning the fountain or even chasing the cat out of there. Super hygienic. Not everyone brought a bottle of water to the emergency room in a panicked state. Not everyone wants to drink from a fountain and get a mouthful of cat fur. This should have been my signal to grab my rabbit and run. I began to wonder when the last time the waiting room was sanitized as well because of the condition of the seating area. After his DEATH on Wednesday (1/9/13) at THEIR facility in Broomfield, I received a telephone call on Saturday (1/12/13) from Kimberly at Northside Emergency Pet Clinic asking how my animal was doing. Needless to say, I was immediately disgusted and offended. I asked her how she couldnt know he passed away at their facility, assuming she even bothered to read his medical records prior to her little followup. Instead of apologizing for this unfathomable mistake, she became argumentative and combative, calling me "sir" in a very insulting and derogatory tone, claiming how could she know when she wasnt there. Thank God she wasnt there when my animal was. Who knows how Kimberly would have screwed that up? Maybe, not calling us while he was dying? Or charging us and collecting payment on services that were not performed? Thank you Kimberly at Northside Emergency Pet Clinic. I will never take another soul to your foul emergency room. You have the behavior of an insensitive clod with no respect towards people who suffered a huge loss. I hope no person ever puts their trust in your to do your job correctly. You will only let them down. Good job! Congratulations! I hope it feels so good to be so right.

This place is a JOKE!!!! To start, they charge you UPFRONT for all costs (even if your pet is in a LIFE or DEATH situation) which is usually around $600-$800. They will TURN your PET AWAY if you DO NOT have money $$$$$$$!!! All this business cares about is getting their money (even at the COST of your animals LIFE)!! When we took our Jack Russel Terrier here on Tuesday night 8/1/2017 they demanded we pay over $600 to keep him overnight, which once we disputed the presented bill, they took it back and decided to not do blood work and other procedures which the other vet place could take care of and then came back with a revised bill of around $260 which we had to pay so our dog can at-least get pain meds and get him looked at for the night. The next morning we go to pick him up and have to pay yet again MORE MONEY to this god damn place! The Doctor who looked at our dog recommended we take him to Pet-Aid in Denver on Yuma Street (which the Doctor said she called down to them and confirmed they had the Doctors who could handle our dogs medical emergency). We leave only to find out the place they sent us too that they recommended do NOT have the Doctors to perform the required Surgery for our dog!!!!!!!!!! They sent us back home with our Poor little Jack Russel Terriers jaw hanging showing the exposed bone and all back home to suffer for more hours and days until we FINALLY FIND A DOCTOR TO ACTUALLY HELP US!!!! I would NEVER recommend this place to my worst ENEMY!!! And the older woman working at the front desk need CUSTOMER SERVICE training. This woman never broke a smile or had any decent conversation with EITHER of me and my family members. How can this place even have Gnarly, cranky women working the front end who has to deal with horrific issues with other peoples pets?!?! Please beware of this SHADY business!!! We are taking this to the News since the news finally got back to us!!! Expect more from the Pratts!

Insulting consultants

This place is a joke if you dont have money for your pet emergency you will be turned away. Even if you do come up with some money they wax you for it and refer you to someone else because they dont have the proper staffing. My poor dogs jaw was broke and hanging from a piece of skin and these ass hats were going to turn me away if I didnt have money to give them, which was right before pay day so I didnt. So I call someone down there to lend me the money get him checked in, only to come back in the morning to my dogs jaw in the same condition and a $300 bill. They tell me that they dont have a doctor that can fix him so they refer me to PETAID downtown on Yuma st. Denver, Because they supposedly have doctors that can fix my dog. So that morning I go down to PETAID as quick as possible to get my poor little guy in to get his jaw fixed. Northside tells me that I get a discount because they referred me. I go there to get my dog in to get his jaw fixed and I dont even get to see a vet they give us a student from Denver university who tells us to come tomorrow but first you gotta pay us $500. I asked what about the referral discount. To which they played stupid and would have never given me unless asked for. So when I come to pick my dog up yet again his jaw was still hanging from a piece of skin (not fixed) and I still had to pay. They told me that my dogs jaw wouldnt be fixed because they dont have the staffing to do it. So here I am with my poor little jack rustle terroirs jaw still hanging and unfixed with about $600 dollars less in my pocket thanks to the incompetence of these places hopefully my dog doesnt lose his jaw.
