I dont know how I really feel about this place. I called one morning because I thought my dog had kennel cough. They told me to bring in my dog and my boyfriends dog since she had been exposed and would probably end up getting kennel cough. The vet that saw my dog. Kind of did a medical exam and assumed that my dog had kennel cough/flu. So, she gave me a cough suppressant and a antibiotic. After google research it says antibiotics do not help viruses. Duh...thats pretty obvious. The vet asked if she wanted me to get a medical exam done on my boyfriends dog. I said I dont think it is necessary we will just wait to see if she gets symptoms...(this is where I dont like what happened)...the vet said "its ok, I wont charge you just to look at her" so I said..."oh well in that case you can if you want to" I should have clarified and asked " you are not charging to look at the second dog". They charged me for 2 medical exams on my visit. I tried fighting them to take of one of the medical exams. The vet fought me and said "No, I never said that" The medical exam was the lamest exam I have ever seen. She then went on to tell me how I should put my dog under and get his fatty non cancerous tumors removed. I have never heard a vet tell me to put a dog under just for a cosmetic surgery. Especially because of the age of my dog SO...long story...my dogs health declined even more over the weekend. I eventually took my dog to the ER at VRCC. It ends up my dogs chest cavity was full of fluid and that was what was causing him to cough and vomit. The vet at VRCC said you can easily hear the difference between a chest with fluid and no fluid. With the fluid in the chest you hear the heart beat as if you are in an ocean or an aquarium. The reason my dog had fluid in his chest is because he has stage 5 Lymphoma cancer. Tender Touch missed all of these signs and symptoms. It breaks my heart knowing I was giving him medicine he didnt need for 4 days and he was only getting worse. two medical exams, antibiotics, cough suppressant= $263 bucks...for nothing. Another thing that bothers me...Since Tender Touch was the last vet I went to last VRCC faxed all of the cancer info to Tender TOuch. No one from Tender Touch even cared to call and apologize for their mis diagnosis. People make mistakes. I somewhat understand how this situation could have happened but if they were a place where they really cared they would have done check up and would have called me to see how my dog was doing. It really bums me to think that Tender Touch is really only about the $$$ The want money for every little thing that they do. NO SYMPATHY

My dog is a fear biter who I picked up off the street. He does not like new people, and of course fears and loathes vets. I had been taking him to a corporate entity linked to a large pet store who I will not name (Rhymes with Panfeild) anyone who knows distrustful dogs will agree that difficult encounters with people only exacerbate the issue. Panfeild was very aggressive and on one occasion literally wrestled him to the ground within five minutes of entering the exam room. I have worked very hard to convince my dog that people are usually pretty cool with adorable mutts, and that he should give them a chance, so I did not appreciate this. I realize that they are in a tough spot with their insurance company, so they couldnt really let me handle him while they were working with him, but this was uncalled for. So I finally decided to make the switch and found Tender Touch, they absolutely live up to their name. The admin staff told me that they were willing to work with agressive/fearful dogs, and she was right. My appointment took much longer than the painful Panfeild ten minute, in and out exam. They took the time to feed my dog, tried to make him comfortable, and let me hold him when they examined him, it was such a relief. The vet tech and vet were both friendly and informative. All this is not even going into the fact that after three visits at Panfeild, Tender Touch immediately realized that my dogs chronic ear infections are probably caused by food allergies, so I might be able to attack a genuine root cause, rather than torture my pup with endless cleaning/medication routines. Admittedly that was only yesterday, so I do not really know if it is caused by food, but Im convinced. I hope to change my pets health, heres to new eras. Thank you Tender Touch!

I honestly cannot say enough about this animal hospital. I love it here! Everyone that works here is kind, caring and compassionate, and the veterinarians are the best I have ever been to. When my dog was a tiny puppy I called frustrated because she would not sleep through the night (embarrassingly funny now...). The vet called me back and spent a good 20 minutes or so on the phone with me, discussing different strategies. That same puppy and her brother have been back several times for things other than their annual exams (ate an entire pork chop, developed bladder stones the size of peanut butter m&ms, ate something questionable at the park, limping, dental cleanings, etc...). The space is clean and very inviting. All procedures and the charges for them are explained in advance, and they will tell you if something can wait. They always call the day after weve been there to make sure everything is ok, even if they just had routine vaccinations. Drs. Steele and Graf are both amazing. I would and do recommend this animal hospital to anyone - this is the only place Ill take my furbabies to!

Im glad we went here for "Restaurant Week" when they had some really good specials. The food and service were both good, and probably worth the Restaurant Week price, but definitely not worth the regular menu price. I ordered a medium rare steak, and it was very tasty, however half of it was rare and half was medium rare. Im not even sure how they did that, but considering that their regular menu price was around $70, it should had been perfect all the way through. Also, the server was very friendly but she didnt write anything down and seemed to make mistakes or forget things. For example, my wife ordered Clam Chowder but instead the server brought French Onion soup. She also forgot to pack up my left-overs (but managed to pack up the left-over cocktail sauce despite all of the shrimp being gone). Id say that it would be worth going for Restaurant Week, but be careful to stick to their special menu. If you order anything off the regular menu you could easily double your bill.

I just moved to Denver and took my dog to Tender Touch based on online reviews, and I am so happy that I did! I was happy with my visit from the moment I walked in the door; the entire facility is clean and modern, and the staff were all super friendly. Dr. Somerville was excellent, she did a great job making Thor feel comfortable and explaining everything to me clearly. She didnt seem at all in a hurry to get us out the door like some of our previous vets have. I thought it was really cool that I could pay for the visit without even leaving the exam room (read: no standing at the receptionist counter trying to write a check and hold the 80lb dogs leash at the same time), and that they called the next day to check on Thor. They also give each owner access to a pet portal online, where you can see your pets records, make appointments, and search pet health issues. Very cool vet, Im really happy with them!
