Unlike most, I like visiting the dentist. It feels good to take care of myself and my health. Dr. Vargas and her team are very friendly and make for a good experience. I called the receptionist to schedule my appointment; and luckily, they had an appointment for me the next day. It was a bit tricky to locate their suite, so I called and the receptionist said their plaque was being redone, so to look for Suite 43C. Made it inside, and the receptionist was very friendly. Completed my paperwork and was taken back for the dental assistant (Roger) to take get me settled and take my X-rays. (I thought it was really funny that Latin/Reggaeton music was playing in the background. For some, that might be off-putting, but I actually love the music. Its energetic.) Then Dr. Vargas joined to carry out the exam and cleaning. I was impressed that she used both the ultrasonic (electric) and manual scaler to clean my teeth. She also performed the polishing and flossing, which is often done by an assistant. And the best part of it, they werent pushy with their sales or "We hope youll come back and see us!" And they extended the AmazonLocal deal ($39) to my second visit, which I will definitely be using 6 months from now. I cant speak to the other doctors service, but I was quite pleased with Roger and Dr. Vargas!

It was a horrible experience and it was just a cleaning routine. I am not sure if the male doctor was in a hurry but he cleaned all my 32 teeth like in less than 5 mins, very unprofessional, because of this I ended up with bleeding gums and bruises at a point that the assistant in charge of the flossing and polishing commented that my gums were tender, obviously there should be bleeding but not like this, even the next day I was still feeling the pain from the bruises. My wife also had a terrible experience with the same male doctor; unfortunately she just let me know the day after, otherwise I would have tried doctor Lida. My advice to the owner, hire professional people even if it cost more and listen to patients complaints this will give great success. One start because not all the staff act like that.

Called to have an appointment rescheduled for my wife since she had dental work done a few months back. She has some problems going on with her teeth (They are loose). The receptionist Christina/Cristina/Kristina showed no empathy to try to help our situation trying to give us curveball dates and time. She said whatever the problem is the dentist will fix it (seriously?).I have been going here for almost 3 years and I will mostly have to find a new dentist due to poor customer service from the receptionist who made no effort in providing any assistance. This is an emergency and she did not seem to understand it.

Meant to do this review a year ago. Had my veneers done by Dr. Vargas. She was amazing! I flew from Atlanta to Virginia. Im so Im love with my new smile. The process took two days and she was incredibly accommodating, patient, and gentle (thats not to say some parts of the procedure werent uncomfortable but no pain no gain, right?!). Her staff was very compromising with payment arrangements and all was very smooth. I will happily be going back to her. Shes an excellent dentist.

I visited Virginia Dental Group for 10 veneer and invisalign treatments. I could not be any happier with my results. My smile has completed changed....for the better. Dr. Lida Vargas and her staff (Karen, Nubia, Roger, Noelli) were professional, accommodating and respectful of me and my busy schedule. I would recommend anyone to Dr. Vargas, you will not be disappointed! Special shout out to Roger for taking care of me and making me laugh every step of the way!

A great place to go! It was short notice and they got me in quickly and were very responsive to me. I had the best experiance and have already sent refferals to them. They have a Cerec machine that builds perfect crowns with in 1 hour. She explained and gave me options which I like so I can make a cost effective decision. Thank you very much...
