Ive been a patient of Dr. Zackos office since 2015. However, my time as a patient with his office ended this month. I was experiencing issues with a filling that Dr. Lobo completed recently, so I went back to see Dr. Lobo to see why it was feeling " off". He said that nothing was wrong with the filling, and said something to the effect of "maybe it needs more time to adjust". I decided to get a second opinion with another dentist in Reston. Holy COW. Turns out, the filling was rotted out and I ended up having to have a root canal on the tooth. In addition, I had my new dentist perform additional x-rays and it turns out theres another filling that was done by Dr. Zackos office that is completely decaying which will require another root canal. Also- I had another cavity that Dr. Zackos office didnt catch that needed to be filled by the new dentist. I understand that dentistry is a complex profession, but if Dr. Zacko and his associates want to remain in business, they need to improve their practices along with their outdated equipment so other patients wont find themselves in similar predicaments.

I have been a patient of Dr. Zackos for >15 years and would highly recommend his office to anyone in the area seeking a Dentist. I generally visit for my routine cleaning, but have recently broken a molar fairly significantly and required attention. I didnt expect to be worked into the schedule so quickly, but I learned that the staff goes above and beyond to work in the emergencies as they occur. While coming into the office not knowing if my tooth needed to be extracted or crowned was a stressful situation. Dr. Zackos kind and calming demeanor put me at ease immediately. He takes the time to show you and explain what is happening removing all fear and stress. I would recommend Dr. Zacko in a heartbeat!

The worst and probably the oldest dental office in the reston area. On my visit I smell the mildew in the operatories. This was disheartening and I ignored it. But when they set me down in the chair and layed down I saw the evidence of it near the vents on ceiling! disgusting! If that wasnt bad the old man Zacko must be 80 years old and have issues because he kind of dosed off on me when working in my mouth. When I made noise then looked at me and says "I am sorry, I have a bit of Virtigo."" Really!?? I will never go back to this place again.

This is not my first review. My family and I have been going to Dr. Zackos practice since around 1999. I have never had a bad experience or a problem after a visit. They arent just efficient, they are also very warm and kind and always accommodating. No matter how busy they are, they find time to help. My husband and I are in our 60s, so dental problems arent uncommon, and their work is superb. I live in dread that Dr. Zacko will retire and hand the practice over to someone not as, well, wonderful. The entire staff is wonderful.

Tore my gums while trying to take x-rays. X-rays missed a cavity. Dr. was rude, said inappropriate things. After learning that they missed a cavity (which I had taken care of by another dentist) I informed them I would not pay the co-pay due to inferior service. Now, one year later they are STILL trying to collect the co-pay. AVOID!!!!!

I cant speak for these other folks experience but its certainly not mine. Ive been seeing Dr. Zacko since I was a kid. Thats more than 30 years! Hes funny, witty, interesting and more than competent. He makes time for his patients. Ive never met a nicer and more sincere bunch of people.

Completely blown away by Dr. Zacko. I was pretty nervous coming in, but I was in and out in less than an hour, with my problem wisdom tooth yanked. No pain or discomfort. Hes a really funny guy, too. Seriously, I cant thank you guys enough! I feel SO much better.

Dr. Zacko has been my dentist since 1969. Throughout these years he has handled everything from simple fillings to crowns to my complete satisfaction. He is conservative and never recommends a procedure unless and until it is necessary. He has my complete trust.
