I have been to numerous dentists, over the years, particularly a team of three made up of a top-notch dentist, hygienist, and orthodontist, Dr. Sally Cram, Dr. Shefferman, and Dr. Jean Judy, located on M Street, N.W., Washington, D.C., not far from where I worked. Since my retirement in 2006, Id been terribly disappointed with my experiences with dentists in the Stafford area. As a result most of my very expensive dental work previously performed by my "top-notch, D.C. dream team" was completely destroyed. I had to go to the emergency room three times with abscesses as a result of poor dental work, one included the Stafford dentist putting a bridge over a tooth that she had cracked. It was a horrible, horrible experience. Id lost a lot of teeth, and all hop and faith in Stafford dentists. Recently, and with reservation, I found Dr. Raj Patel, and my faith has been revitalized. Regardless of the dental treatment that Im to encounter during my appointment(s) with Dr. Patel, I never dread going to his office. He is delightful, personable, amicable, proficient, and his skills are simply amazing. As I tell him, on occasion, "Dr. Patel, I put you right up there with my top-notch D.C. dream team," and, I do, because hes that good! In addition, his staff members are amicable, delightful, and professional. My visits there, are always pleasant. He is wonderful, and he gets the job done. Thanks to him, Im going to be ok.

Great experience! All around great service. My 2 kids and I went in for our 6 week cleaning. All 3 of us were out within the hour and that included me getting some extra work done. I loved the text and email reminders prior to the appointment and after. They also immediately reported service to the insurance (like within the next day) and i received an email from my insurance reporting the service and showing i paid in office which was wonderful as Ive had discrepancies with that in the past. The ladies in the front desk were very helpful and although they didnt need to, they made sure my kids were entertained while I got my cleaning done. Professional, trustworthy, clean, efficient and fast! Highly recommend!

Dr Patel and his assistants were excellent, I had no discomfort whatsoever and I had always been a little problematic at getting my teeth checked up regularly. After visiting Dr. Patels office from moving to Stafford that has changed because his office is very clean and doesnt give you that "sterile" environment you associate with most Doctors offices. I very much enjoyed my cleaning and even my cavity fillings were 99.9% painless.

Dr. Patel did a marvelous job on replacing the front bridge work that I had for about 37 years. He is an excellent craftsman. There was very little discomfort. The procedure went smoothly. I had put this repair job off for many years because I was petrified of what it would feel like. Now I wish I had done it much sooner...with Dr. Patel. I have a lovely new smile. Maria Cannata

Very professional and courteous support staff and awesome Dentist who I totally trust with my dental care. He put in a crown that fit perfectly and I could not feel any pain or tightness. I have had two other Dentists place crowns that were too tight fitting. Glad I found this Dentist and I highly recommend him to family and friends.
