I went to the dentist for a cleaning and exam after moving from New York, where I had previously just had an exam done. She told me that I had 10 cavities! I found this very hard to believe since I just went and they said I had zero, so I got a second opinion who also told me I had zero. Because my insurance company only allows me to get one set of xrays, I had to request my Xrays from Dr. Johnson. I called and asked for them to be emailed to my new Dr. and she said she was unable to do that, so I offered to pick them up. When I went to pick them up, the receptionist had me sign an unclear, hand written statement. When I asked for a copy of it, she refused to give me a copy so I took the paper back. The receptionist leaped over the counter and grabbed my wrists and demanded I give her the paper. The Dr. had to demand the receptionist to let go of me. The doctor then said she would explain what the statement said, however, she LIED to me! What I could make out was that "the patient misunderstood the diagnosis", which was completely false. When I told them I was going to the POLICE about the receptionist ASSAULTING me, she told me to calm down. The receptionist then tried to turn it around and tell me I assaulted her, which was obviously completely false. My insurance company is in the process of dropping them and an investigation on their practice is pending. Save your time and sanity, and find another dentist.

Ive been using Dr. Johnson for over five years. I will NEVER go to another dentist as long as she is practicing. Her staff are wonderful ladies, full of humor and compassion. They do everything possible to put you at ease and make you comfortable both physically and emotionally. Dr. Johnson will take as much time as YOU need to understand what she is doing and why. She is very clear and easily understood. I have never had any surprises regarding my co-payments for the procedures I was having performed. During a recent appointment I learned I needed a crown on one of my teeth. Her receptionist, Tammy, not only took the time to explain what the charges would be, she took the time to find out what my insurance would pay and exactly what my cost would be on the day of the procedure. I had the crown placed this past Thursday and the payment was exactly to the penny that she said it would be. You cant go wrong with Dr. Johnson or her staff. They are close to perfect and I just cant say enough about them. Experience dental care the way it should always be at her office, you wont be disappointed.

I came in for an annual teeth cleaning and when I checked out I was told I got a "special" cleaning which was 100$. I was shocked because I expected it to be covered, as are all my past cleanings. I was then informed that I had to pay right then and there. I asked them why they didnt tell me they were giving me this "special" cleaning and they said they had to. I will never go there again, and recommend going to any other dentist if you dont want any surprises!! Horrible customer service, unprofessional, unapologetic, and unfriendly.

I am new to the area, and went in today for a checkup and a consult on some crowns I know I need, and the experience was great. From Reception to exit, very professional and friendly. The Staff at this office were all very cheerful and knowledgeable. My insurance was handled exactly as I was told over the phone, and was given information about my visit in simple ease to understand language. I will definatly return!

I love Dr Johnson! I have been a regular customer for 3 years now and I wont go anywhere else. She truly takes the time to explain things to me and remembers details about my family and genuinely cares about them and me. I cannot recommend this dentist enough! :)
