My 2 year old dog is my best friend, my hiking buddy, my companion that is always there. We have been going to Brentwood Animal Hospital ever since she was 8 weeks old. After her spay, Piper had a really difficult time with spay incontinence and maintaining a good PH starting 2 months after the spay. It took 3 months to get a proper diagnosis. Instead of going with Proin, due to the numerous negative reviews that I read on multiple credible sites, I went with an herbal approach and gave her cornsilk. She did really well with that for about 1 year and 3 months. Then the leaking in her sleep started to occur again. I took her in and was humiliated by the vet due to my choice of giving her an herbal remedy and was told to take her to Vitamin Cottage if I wanted to continue on a holistic approach. At this appointment, I wanted her tested for diabetes since she was losing weight and because Dr. Brown wasnt pleased with my choice to go an herbal route, she couldnt tell if she was diabetic or not from her urine, but insisted that I give Piper more veggies because her PH was still off (after a full year). I decided to give Proin a chance since I was exhausted of bathing her and cleaning her bedding daily. She did well for about 6 weeks and then the leaking occurred again and she started to lose weight rapidly. At this point, I knew taking her to BWH wasnt going to solve anything. I found a holistic/western medicine vet that took us in immediately. It turns out Piper has had a severe UTI for several weeks. That was cured within 10 days. Leaking still continued so we did a blood test, something I requested from BWH when I asked about the possibility of diabetes, and Dr. Brown didnt feel it was necessary. After getting the results, I was informed yesterday that I needed to take Piper to the ER immediately. I spent 5 hours at the veterinarian ER and am now hoping that I get good news for a long life with my 2 year old dog. She only has 1 kidney, which was news to me, and that kidney is abnormal and has the possibility of infection. Had you and your staff listened to me and perhaps thought about the correlations with her high PH over the past year, much of this would and could have been prevented. My dogs life is now on the line because your team didnt do their job and was more worried about your pride and my desire to do holistic medicine for my young pup.

One star is too generous. Im in such shock and disbelief, how unprofessional this sad excuse of a hospital is. Apathetic is too warm of a way to describe them. I brought my two dogs Charlie and Casper for annual checkup and vaccination. Dr Brown mentioned that Charlie had problems with his eye and Casper had an yeast infection in his ears. When I asked what I should do, without any explanation she prescribed Charlie drops for his eye and scheduled weekly treatment for Casper. I’ve being bringing Casper every week and after three weeks I brought both Casper and Charlie, Casper for his weekly medication admission as Dr Brown stated his yeast infection didn’t clear yet and Charlie because his eye got much worse all red and swollen after the drops she prescribed. Dr Brown refused even to look at Charlie as appointment was for Casper only, even though I’ve being coming over consistently for three weeks and she was the one who prescribed the drops that made Charlie’s eye much worse. Every week I had to wait for at least 30 minutes for her to get available, tolerate her condescending attitude, google about eye and yeast infection at home as she ignored my questions and being treated as a bad dog owner because my dogs weren’t perfectly healthy while paying over $800 for yearly checkup, eye drops and yeast infection medication for my dogs. My issue is not the amount, the issue is, I paid so much money for them to barely examine or interact with my dog and from the entrance of the door, and I was treated with disrespect and unappreciated. When I come to a vet facility I dont expect much, just to be treated with respect and genuinely care for the health of my dog. So I spent over $800 for overall 30 minutes in total with Dr Brown of the worst services Ive ever received in my entire life. The only reason I kept coming was because my husband and all his family used them for years and I really wanted to finish Casper’s treatment before switching the vet. Dont give them your business. You work too hard to give them your money and trust your pet to them!

I found Dic Nriwn when I moved. She was highly recommended by someone I trust with my life. He also has 2 dogs that he takes to her for care. After taking my little one there for the first time she had earned my trust. She was able to have her teeth cleaned without putting her under and was also able to get rid of a cyst on her back without surgery which my other bet told me wasnt possible. She truly cares about her patients and their owners. I had had some big concerns as I purchased a house with a koi pond and a hot tub. I was extremely concerned about my dog and wondered what precautions o would need to take and what I needed to watch for in case I turned my back for a second and she decided to swim with the koi and drink the water in the pond. She gladly told me what to do. She knows my pets mean the world to me. I would recommend her to anybody for dogs or cats or any other friend you have. The whole staff is wonderful. Thank you Dr Brown and staff. I can not give you all enough praise.

Dr. Brown is the best vet ever!!! She is a true animal lover and has only your pets best interest in mind. We drive 35 minutes just so we can take our pets to Dr. Brown. The other staff is amazing as well. My dogs love going there even though it is the vet because Dr. Brown and staff take the time to say hello to your pet and give them love and attention before they start examining them. The first time my dog went there she was shaking like a leaf but then she quickly came to love and trust Dr. Brown who became one of my dogs favorite people. When my dog became ill, I was so comforted to have Dr. Brown on our side and was so comforted that when my dog was feeling so vulnerable and sick that she actually looked forward to going to the vet. She felt safe there. Dr. Brown is an extremely intelligent and knowledgable veteranarian. The combination of this competency with her sincere care for your pet makes her the best vet ever!!

I came to Doc Brown with a diabetic cat that also developed Cushings syndrome. I was inexperienced with managing his diseases and I could not have dreamed of the kind of care and resolve that Doc Brown showed both my tabby and I. Her and her staff are bar none the most caring vet I have ever used. My cat is alive and happy because of her care. The biggest difference I saw using Doc Brown was that she has a huge heart and her empathy for you and your pets situation are unmatched. As a bonus her prices are actually fair, even with need for extended care and lifelong medications. As long as I live anywhere near Denver I will go back to Doc Brown. She has earned my loyalty and most importantly my trust. Thank you Doc.
