We have been patients of this clinic since moving to Colorado four years ago. I have had nothing but positive things to say. It was exactly the experience we were looking for. Small, personalized and caring. When one of my cats was suddenly struck ill 3 years ago I truly credit them with her recovery. They trained me to administer meds and kept costs down by focusing on immediate and important needs and not pushing tests that likely wouldnt have contributed to a better outcome. Over the time they have treated my 6 cats (two have passed, four are current patients) and my dog. So, you may ask why the 2 stars if I am so happy? Well, since the conversion into Banfield I feel like we have lost everything I loved about this place. Now, it feels like a high pressure sales environment. I spent more on one cats ear mites recently than I did a few years ago when my cat I mentioned above was gravely ill. Multiple visits, multiple screenings, multiple doses of medication even after the screening showed no mites, medication charges more than triple retail cost. Plus now I am getting incessant emails from Banfield which I dont recall signing up for (yes, i will unsubscribe). Overall, I am disapointed. I guess the best way to describe it is imagine your favorite little shop you have gone to for years is now a Wal-Mart. No matter how much they dress it up, its still a Wal-Mart...

Let me start off by saying I will never go back to Annie’s Animal Clinic. Their staff is very rude and unprofessional, including their doctors. I was told several times that I could pick up a prescription so I can order medication through another company (online pet prescription that charges less). When I arrived, I was told that I had to bring in my dog and pay $50.00 for another checkup. My dog was just seen 6 months prior where I had to pay a $50 charge at that checkup. I refused and needless to say, they never released this prescription. My second dog was taken in for a shot before her one-year checkup. When we were finished, I was told we owed 50.00 on top of the shots. Once again I was told prior to this appointment that I did not have to pay the checkup fee. Neither the doctor nor staff was willing to wave this fee. I expressed my feelings and told them I will not be returning and all they did was shrug. It seems they have too many customers to worry about customer service. Annie’s Animal Clinic is over priced and is only concerned about money and not the well being of your loving pet.

Ive been extremely pleased with Annies animal clinic since we started going there a little over a year ago. We had recently moved to town and I brought my pitbull to Dr. Abrams because she really was not acting like herself and was not acting right. Dr. Abrams spent PLENTY of time with me and my dogs trying to figure out what was going on and diagnosed most likely a neurologic tumor (which was a confirmed diagnosis by a neurologist later). She was so sweet and caring and appropriately taking care of my sick dog. I have since moved and continued to drive across town to take my other elderly dog back to see her as well as my new puppy. I never feel rushed and she always takes the time that its necessary to answer questions and picks up on things that I didnt even know were going on. I only took away one star because the prices are a bit on the higher side as well as it is somewhat difficult to get an appointment sometimes, as I think their practice has gotten busier. But the care we have received from Dr. Abrams has been nothing less than exceptional.

Awful Customer Service!!!! I took my dog here and was surprised to find how expensive everything was. Vet was very nice and wanted to try a natural approach to my dogs infection. I carried out her advice but my dog is not getting better. I also needed a refill of his Rx for anxiety meds they gave us. It has been a week now and I have called four times. Every single time they claim they will get right back to me but I have not been called ONCE! I dont know if they are too busy to handle this simple task of refilling his meds but this is UNACCEPTABLE. Now my dog has been off his medication for days and this has caused some major mood changes in him. I keep calling and they keep telling me they will get back to me. Now I have to spend another $50 to have a different vet see him because Annies Animal Clinic wont refill the meds THEY PRESCRIBED or call me back. Really confused as to what is going on there!!!! All I know is I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN what a waste of time and money!

Let me start by saying my dog has never been to a vet where she didnt growl, need a muzzle and run out with her tail between her legs...until visiting Annies! Annies is the most wonderful veterinary clinic i have ever been to! They are extremely friendly and SO knowledgeable! I went there originally after reading a review here that said the persons dog did not growl at the vet. My dog, who is 90 lbs and very nervous, went in there today (after social visits which the vet recommended and didnt charge extra for) to get her shots. I held her, (which i never have, my husbands stronger but couldnt make it today) there was no muzzle and vet Annie was so amazing, Ember didnt even flinch!! Not only did she not growl at the vet or their staff, she walked out of there with her tail held high! Because of the vet and staff my dog has come leaps and bounds!! I would recommend vet Annie to absolutely anyone!! Oh, and the rates are EXTREMELY reasonable!

This has been one of the best experiences I have had with a Vet. Our dog was having some issues and I called the day prior to see about an appointment but was told to call in the following morning as soon as they open so I could get a same day appointment. I called the following morning and there was an appointment available early that morning. I brought our dog in and they ran a few tests and told me what was wrong and were very helpful. I inquired about getting some vaccinations done as well and they gave me an estimate on the range in cost; which was extremely helpful, since most places leave the front desk for shock therapy after the vaccinations are done. Of the staff I encountered there it was a very pleasant experience and they were very attentive to our pet and the cost was very reasonable compared to other Vet’s in the area.

I took our cat in for a simple procedure and requested to be with the cat during the procedure. I was told they were going to give the cat an examination first before the procedure and I again told the person I wanted to be with the cat during the procedure. The next thing I here is my cat screaming out in the back room, I see three people holding the cat down, my cat was is distress due the way it was being handled. I was shocked by the abusive handling of my cat and the total disregard for the request to be there during the procedure. I never approved any procedure! They just did it! Then when I complained the vet took our cat to the hallway and slammed the cage on the floor and said "here is your cat" and walked away. I will never use this vet after the plain disregard to my cat and I.
