Same as above, I took both of my dogs in for their annual check up and shots. We had them get the leptospirosis vaccine because we go hiking with our dogs and both love the water. They told us to come back in three weeks for a booster. So, came in three weeks later and the lady at the counter asked me to get the boys weighed and I told her that we had already been in for a check up and we just needed a booster. Told the vet techs the same thing when they started to do an exam AGAIN I said they had already been seen. ( My wife told me to watch for that, and they will bill us again ) Sure enough when it was time to check out, mind you I waited 5 min before she came back and should have just walked out then and there cause I knew I was gonna get had. Yep, our bill was 106 and an hour time wasted for nothing but she did tell me about the "PLAN" they offer. Laughed and said Never Coming back, nothing was offered or even an explanation.

Banfield is very over priced. They are a national corporation so they have a lot of overhead so they try to charge more than local vets. Its pretty irritating how they nickel and dime you for everything they have. I wanted to get my dog a refill on his heart worm prevention meds and even though by law you can sign a waver to not run the tests on your dog to see if he has heart worms, Banfield wont give a new Rx without doing the test and the doctors visit. They say its for the benefit of the pet but lets be honest....if they just give you a new Rx without charging $50 bucks or so for the doctors exam plus $30+ for the heart worm test, then they dont make enough money.

Complete waste. My dog was miss diagnosed multiple times. I just had a "comprehensive exam" they did not list anything that they looked at on the sheet after staying at the facility for 6 hrs. When trying to cancel the account it was another fight to get that done. Constant up selling is another trait with them. Costco is the place to pic up pet meds and it is a fight to get them to call it in so that you can save money.

We took out a wellness plan because we wanted to keep our dog healthy, found we were not using it as planned and have had months of calls and letters asking us to pay. I spent 25 minutes trying to cancel the plan but only my wife can do it but when she calls it is transfer to here hold here. Horrible experience. all of our pets will be cared for somewhere else. and I agree with others reviews about the cost at BADfield.

I have been with Banfield for 5 years with both my dogs and they have provided the BEST possible service ever. I feel bad for all of you who have not had a great experience. BUT they know my dogs as soon as i walk in and htey LOVE my little dog who they let sit with them until I can come get him. I will not leave Banfield as I think they are perfect for my needs!

I have nothing but good things to say about the staff and vets here. They have always done a great job with vaccinations, teeth cleaning, an ear surgery, etc. I trust that they treat my dog with respect.
