I love this place! I just got back from my first visit with them and it was an absolutely wonderful experience for both me and my little puppy whos sick. Debbie at the front desk was as sweet and helpful as they come in helping me get an appointment set up as I had to reschedule multiple times due to work. Ashley, the technician that saw us was very caring and wonderful with my little puppy. Dr. Anderson was the Veterinarian that helped us and was awesome, I could tell he really cared about the well being of my puppy but also had wonderful bedside manors with me and letting me know my little guy was going to be alright. He stayed a little longer with me to give me some great information I needed for properly taking care of my puppy since this is my wife and Is first. The facility was beautiful, spotless and didnt come off as a vet which helped keep my dog at ease. Being that this is the first vet ive been to I can not comment on the price as I have no frame of reference but I will say that the price seemed very fair for everything that they did for us. I"m definitely going to continue using Highlands Animal Clinic for all of my pets needs in the future.

Since I adopted my rescue puppy, we have had such a great experience here! They are so nice and really care about their patients. We also recently had her spayed at the clinic and it was overall the best experience I could have asked for. I was extremely nervous to have her get surgery - and I am so glad we took her here! Although it costs a bit more than a low-cost spay/neuter - I definitely thought the price was very reasonable for the level of care. When we took her in to get the procedure, there was one veterinarian doing the surgery and two vet technicians - they went over everything very thoroughly and did blood work before-hand to make sure she would be okay during the procedure. They called me immediately after it was over to let me know she was doing okay - which meant so much since I was so nervous. We picked her up at the end of the day and her incision healed nicely. Ill say it again, the peace of mind knowing she was in the very capable hands of a skilled veterinarian for the procedure was worth the extra cost compared to a low-cost spay/neuter. Thank you guys for taking amazing care of my little Winnie!!

I cant say enough wonderful things about this animal clinic. We have 2 dogs who have both required pretty extensive veterinary care, and Highlands Animal Clinic has done such a great job with them both. Primrose required a surgery on each of her knees and the staff handled both of her operations beautifully! She was once a sad, lumpy little lady... and its just wonderful to see her running around chasing squirrels again :) Our second dog, Bailey, developed systemic lupus out of blue blue last month and Dr. Anderson and his team have invested so much time and care into his path to recovery. I can tell that he really & truly cares about making Bailey feel better. We are still working toward recovery for Bailey, but I am confidant that Dr. Anderson and his team will do anything they can to make that happen. Like most pet owners, we love our pets so much and the team at Highlands Animal Clinic does, too. I greatly appreciate the personalized and caring approach they always take in regard to caring for my animals!

Ive lived in several places around the city since moving here 5 years ago. My most recent move put me quite far from my original vet so I took on the daunting task of finding a new vet. A couple people that I dog sit for use this place so I figured I would give it a try and Im so glad that I did. Ive since taken both of my dogs here and each time, everyone has been so caring and kind. My Cocker Spaniel gets extremely nervous at the vet (she starts trembling as soon as someone walks in the room) and my Beagle/Dachshund makes it known when she doesnt like something (she squeals bloody murder when they try to take her temperature, which means they never get to take it). The techs were very patient with both of them and Dr. Hess was so sweet and helpful. She even offered some at home remedies/practices for long term solutions, along with the short term medication. It puts me at ease knowing that I have somewhere close I can take my babies to if anything ever comes up.

I was highly recommended to come here after moving. Everybody was friendly, but Im a bit put off by the fact that a medication I was told that would be shipped to my house never arrived, and when I called to inquire about it, I found out it was never written down or put in the system and I had to do Google research as to what we had verbally discussed and tell them which medication it was. Kind of weird, not sure if Ill be returning after that since there are many other reputable options in this area.

Wonderful experience. Staff and doctors were all very friendly and knowledgeable. And the little things made a huge difference. Like getting on the floor with my senior dog instead of putting her on the exam table. The fact that she actually accepted a treat from them speaks volumes about how comfortable they made her (shes NEVER done that at a vets office before in the 12 years Ive had her). Cannot say enough good things about them.

Exotic furry baby? This is your vet! Dr. Erik is amazing so sweet, kind, and generous with time and advice. Its not easy diagnosis of Rabbits and he has always given us great advice and treatment. Our 4 Rabbits and cat love this place. Transferred from Boston were exotics are a bit more common, it was tough to find a good vet at first not many rabbits like very glad Dr. Erik is a true expert..

Took my dog in after she was suffering from some stomach issues (wont go into details...yuck). The staff was super friendly and very attentive. The facility was extremely clean and located in a gorgeous renovated Victorian (definitely a bonus for me!). We were in and out in no time with a diagnosis and my pup is happily on the mend.

I had a sick dog and wasnt able to squeeze my pup in at our normal vet. I went here and they were able to get me in pretty quickly. The vets and vet techs there are amazing. They are very knowledgeable and great with dogs. I am extremely pleased with the pricing as well. Well defiantly be going back there as our normal vet.

This Vet is awesome! Everyone we have had the pleasure of working with is friendly and just awesome. We used them because we adopted a shelter pet and they gave us her first evaluation at no charge. The only downside is parking but what do you expect in the highlands :-) I recommend this vet to EVERYONE!

Brought my healthy cat to this clinic for a checkup and a day later hes sick because of the vaccination they gave him.....he received this vaccination twice before (no reaction). So of course I take him back but they charge me for everything they had to give him, even though it was their mistake?!
