On Monday 9/19/16, I had a horrendous experience here at Pedicorp. I would give this practice -0 stars if I could. I am a new mom of twins and had them prematurely. I had the pleasure of finally picking up my daughter from the NICU on Saturday 9/17/16. When a baby leaves the hospital especially a premature baby it is crucial that they are seen within one to two days. My daughter had an appointment with Dr. Perks on Monday. Throughout the weekend I was very worried about my daughter because she did not stool I was concerned with her feedings and possible stomach pain from being backed up. On Monday morning it was raining very hard and in addition it was my first time driving with my twins and driving to an errand with them by myself. As a first time mom yes I was scared. I left the house well before my appointment. Unfortunately, with the weather, the loading and unloading of the twins and walking to the building because parking was far then taking the elevator to the practice caused me to be 15 minutes late. When I got there the nurse up front with white hair (older/elderly nurse) had me do paperwork. This nurse has a negative demeanor, she is miserable and rude and should not work in a pediatric practice. I then get called in some time after and this nurse has me undress my daughter so she can get weighed and then tells me that the doctor would not see my daughter. I was in disbelief and furious. How dare this doctor have not only the audacity but the HEART to not see my daughter who was just discharged from the hospital. On top of this the nurse tried to put the blame on me. I told her I am a first time mom traveling alone in the rain and left my house early. I even offered to wait. The nurse said Dr. Perks had a booked schedule yet no one was in the waiting room. I also told her about my concern with my daughter being backed up. I could not believe this and was so hurt that she would not spend 15-20 mins to check my premature daughter. I am disgusted with the lack of compassion and care for my daughter. In addition, Dr. Perks had seen my son because he was discharged earlier and never gave me the referral my son needed to see a neurologist due to bleeding of the brain. This type of treatment is unacceptable. Ive spoken to the St.Francis physician and nurses at the NICU and my twins visiting nurse and were all shocked and said this is unacceptable for a first time newborn visit regardless of whatever policy is in place with the practice regarding late and no shows. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE! After this experience I switched practices right away and my twins new doctor is great! DO NOT TRUST YOUR KIDS HERE JUST IMAGINE WHAT ELSE GOES ON! Utterly disgusted with this place!!!

I am so sorry the person below me had a bad experience here but one bad appointment does NOT spoil the entire practice. I was seen here from birth-19 years old and BOTH of my children are seen here. This is a GREAT place to bring your children. The staff are kind and they work with you if you communicate. There have been plenty of time I was running late and I always call. I have NEVER not been seen. I recommend Pedicorp to EVERYONE I know who is having a baby. My kids as well as myself have seen Dr. Fadakar, who recently retired, Dr. Duffy, Dr. Perks as well as the PA Liz and each visit has been more than satisfactory. The doctors are very knowledgeable and they CARE!!
