Meaney is HORRIBLE!!! Dr. Pollock was THE BEST!!! It seems that the majority of DOG owners have had good experiences with her. For us, we brought our three cats to Dr. Pollock for years, and then, he retired. One of our cats got an ear infection. We brought him in. Meaneys assistant grabbed him by the neck and forced the side of his face down on the table - right in front of my wife and I. Our cat whimpered and we have NEVER had that happen before. Meaney dug in his ear very roughly. She said shed do a test to figure out what antibiotic we would need but could put him on a general one in the mean time. We agreed. She said "How are you guys with pills?" We said "Okay, its not always easy, but we can do it." Then she said "Dont worry, Ive got a shot that I can give him that will last 14 days and you wont have to worry about it." That seemed really extreme to us. Before we could object she took off into the back room, came back with the syringe and gave him the shot. Neither of us felt this was the right thing to do, and we didnt like how he was treated. We decided to get a second opinion. We asked the next vet about this shot and they said "I havent given that shot in 20 years because its been linked to possible cancer in cats." Meaney gave our cat that shot in January of 2012, he was 11.38 lbs. By November 2012, he was 9.33 lbs. He was diagnosed with cancer. He is now 6.2 lbs. We have spent more than $10,000.00 (at our new vets and a referral hospital) since last November diagnosing, medicating, blood tests, biopsies, extra check ups, etc. Its just not fair. I sincerely hate this woman. She should NOT be a veterinarian. Cat owners - STAY AWAY!!!

We have been a loyal customer of this practice for over 14 years, and never had a proble With Dr. Pollard, but the new female Doctor that took over the practice is terrible.. Last July my older cat was not eating much but her belly was getting bigger and bigger..We took her in and for $90 the female vet that replaced Dr.Pollard told me that that all was well and this is normal for older cats and did nothing. Well my cat kept getting worse so a few days later I called news and tried to make an appointment. She said it didnt sound good, but they were too busy to see her and told me to go somewhere else! I took her to Danvers animal hospital and they said ( after a 15 minute checkup) that there was nothing they could and it was best to put her down before she got any worse. They were also shocked that no blood tests were done the at the last checkup, and at the complete lack of compassion in refusing to see a 14 year patient for probable end of life care. I will never set foot in The Farms Veterinary Clinic again. SHAMEFUL! I was unfortunately reminded of this last week when a friend told me she brought her dog into this same clinic for a neutering... they almost killed the dog and ended up with $5000 worth of emergency medical bills when they brought the dog elseware to save its life. BEWARE!

I recently started bringing my dog to this vet. She didnt get along with the people working at another office. This made me think that maybe she just "sensed" some of things that were happening there. (as most dogs seem to be reluctant when going to facilities such as the vet and groomer) I decided to bring her to Farms Veterinary Clinic just to be sure, and she was fine with the staff there. It was a very professional and caring atmosphere with a great place for dogs to "mingle" outside. My patronage also felt appreciated and I plan to continue bringing my dog to this practice. I wholeheartedly recommend this clinic for anyone!

We met Dr. Meaney many years ago when she was working at another clinic. Fortunately we did not have any health issues after she left that clinic, but when one did arise, we searched long and hard. Fortunately we found her after four years at Farms Vet Clinic. We drive over an hour each way to see her. She has been a life saver on more then one occasion. Her diagnostics skills are only out done by her love and connection to her patients. If you love your pet, Dr. Meaney is the way to go!

We have been bringing our dogs to Farms for several years now. We absolutely love Dr Watson! She is amazing and companionate with our dogs (and us concerned humans!) and extremely knowledgeable in caring for them. Always willing to answer a question and give advice. Rachel and all the staff have been nothing but wonderful over the years. This is a place that truly loves animals and it shows. We moved out of the Farms years ago but will never consider changing veterinary practices!

Dr. Meaney diagnosed my pet with cancer, on sketchy assumptions and with one faulty technically unreadable X ray photograph. No other testing was done. This traumatizing diagnosis cost us over a thousand dollars in second opinions. She totally assumed the diagnosis, which she seemed to have pulled out of her hat. Our pet had no granulomas, no nodules, nothing at all. Lady, A diagnosis of cancer cannot be made in the manner you did with us. Go back to Veterinary school.

The vet and team were wonderful - they were able to diagnose what had been a chronic issue (mis diagnosed by two other veterinarians in the area, and heal our issue within days. The team was courteous, caring and clearly everyone LOVED animals. Highly recommend, if you are looking for smart, caring people to take good care of your pet.

This Vet is so nice. You can tell she really cares about her patients. She made sure that my dog was comfortable and had such a gentle touch while doing her exam. She also explained everything without being condescending. Also, she did not try to rake me over the coals w/regards to excessive tests/lab work/meds etc. A true pleasure!!!

Dr. Meaney is a wonderful, caring vet. I have had two very sick animals since my pets have been under her care. She is compassionate about her patients and their treatments, without pushing options that would make my animals suffer and only give them briefly longer lives. I believe in Quality over Quantity and so does Dr. Meaney.
