Very over priced, didnt care about my pet, very vague and useless diagnosis. I had a cat put to sleep last night because of these people!!! My cat was a stray that I have had for 6 years (though she is thought to be around 13). She was always a little different than other cats, and I thought it was only because she was a stray. She often "howled", even screeched, which the vet at High Street -I shouldnt say the vet, the vets assistant Dr Turner, the actual vet, Dr Ross was never there-merely smiled and nodded at. The cat also had a verly rigid, distended feeling stomach which I had only felt before in a cat I previously owned that had worms, but Dr Turner said my cat didnt have worms so everything was fine. Last wendesday my cat got diarrhea and stopped eating. I brought in a stool sample to Dr Turner on friday which was clearly red. Upon examination she immediately said the cat probably had colitis and sent her home with pills, and said shed call back about the stool. The next day my cat still wasnt eating and the vet called and said the stool was fine, no blood. However, my cats stools were still clearly red, so my mother, who works in nursing, took a stool sample in to her work and the test came back positive for blood. By yesterday, my cat had taken two doses of the pill given by Dr Turner and still wasnt eating. She was getting very weak and clearly having trouble laying down. Around 9:30 last night she had diarrhea which was literally just a pool of blood, so we made the choice to take her to an Andover vet and had her put to sleep because she was old and clearly dying. Upon examination at the Andover vet, they immediately noticed that she was anemic. After she was put to sleep, the vet did another examination and said she obviously had a giant mass (tumor) in her G.I. tract.... which explains the hard bulbus stomach. I also googled the howling to see if she ignored that too and found out that it coul be caused by chronic renal failure or hypothyroidism, which was never mentioned by Dr Turner... I even think it could be caused by the pain of the tumor. If these issues HAD been addressed by the High Street vets it may have been able to be removed, treated, or atleast my cat wouldnt have suffered as long as she did. I trusted them to give me all the information and possible causes of my cats symptoms that I deserved, but these people are crooks and only care about sending outrageous bills. They have no idea how to treat an animal or what they are talking about and shouldnt be practicing.

We brought our 13 year old Labrador Retriever Bailey there a week ago because she had a lump on her left side that erupted. We were sure it was the end for her. The staff was so nice (as always) and she was given medication and we were told to keep an eye on her. She has much improved!! Staff was so kind.....Cant say enough about them!

Everyone is so nice - from the receptionists to the vet tech, and of course Dr Turner. I never feel rushed in appointments. Dr Turner always takes time to explain all details and make your pet comfortable.
