Dr. Mauriello is excellent. He has qualities that are no longer found in a doctor. The problem with Berlin Medical Associates is when they changed billing companies. I paid my wifes medical bill at the office on 4/18/13 in person in Berlin. I had to ask for a receipt of payment. The girl assured me that none was needed, as my check was my proof of payment. I insisted and she finally gave me a receipt. She was busy eating candy and talking on the phone. The billing office is so messy, I dont know how they find anything in there. Im sure my incident isnt the only one from such conditions. On 4/19/13 my wife received a bill for the same service date as was just paid. She called the billing office and spoke to Meg (no last name was ever given). Meg assured her that she would "reach out to them" (the billing department at BMA) to see if its been posted. Since the payment date and date of the new bill were so close, this was the most likely explanation. On 5/30/13 I received a phone call from someone speaking English with such an accent they could not be understood. Finally I determined that BMA had sent my wife to a collection agency. I guess thats how Meg "reaches out." 6/3/13 I spoke to Tyler at the collection agency and gave him the check number of payment, along with the payment date. The amount that the collection agency was seeking was different from the amount paid by 60 cents. He said it may take a month to resolve the matter. I sent a letter of dispute to the collection agency on the same day. I called Meg at the billing office and left a message for her to call me back. I gave her the check number and the payment date. She assured me that she will "reach out" to solve the problem. I faxed her a copy of the check and payment receipt. She assured me that she will call back on 6/7/13 or before with an answer. 6/18/13 I called Meg and left a message to call me back. She said she never received the fax. I faxed a copy of the check and payment slip to her. She will call back next week. She called to confirm receipt of the fax. 7/1/13 Called Meg, left message to call me back. She forgot to call me. Shes waiting for feedback from the BMA office. Will call back 7/5 or 7/8. 7/16/13 Called Meg, left message to call me back. Now, four hours later there is no call. I am considering turning this over to an attorney to get it cleared up. I asked for a physical address so that I could speak to Meg face to face and the secretary refused. Meg has had proof of payment since 7/1/13 and still will not admit that my wife paid the bill. Its a shame that incompetence is rewarded. If Meg wasnt incompetent, she would have no qualities at all.

Bunch of cry babies! Sometimes doctors, nurses, and techs, are very busy, there can be several reasons why you dont get back exactly when your appointment time is. Out off all the times I have been there, I only had to wait longer then usual one time, and thats because I was late to my appointment, and they had to take care of the scheduled appointments first, other then that, there was a few times I showed up 15 to 30 minutes early, and I was taken back right away early. So they do make up for things on their end. All the doctors are fine, I dont ever have any problems, and my doctor took care of me the first day I seen my doctor! Now thats good business in my eyes.

My appointment was schedule a month ago for 4pm and it is now 4:32 and not even called. The reception area is dirty with stains all over carpet and on most chairs. I think it may be time to find a new doctor, they have gone too far off the customer

My appointment was at 6:30. I arrived at 6:20. It is now 733 and Im still waiting for the doctor. This office is not for anybody that values their time. They took my $30 and they left me sitting in the room and I am still here and hour later.

Dr Colopinto is great! He doesnt rush you, he listens to what you have to say. Very thorough.. The nurses are great as well!
