When I am looking for something, Im the type of person who likes to shop around. In this case I needed new prescription glasses because Im nearsighted, so I decided to check out Brighton Eye Care... and what I found was great! They had a huge selection of frames, from designer to basic. It was quite extensive, spanning from wall to wall. Without a doubt theres something to match everyones budget. Personally, all my needs were covered - I ended up with a pair of glasses that were stylish AND affordable. But I mustnt forget to mention the staff! Everyone was really helpful and friendly and I was taken care of in a timely manner. Dr. Sergio Peneiras is quite knowledgeable and made a lasting impression. I will definitely be going back to them for my glasses needs from now on. And its a win-win for me, since Im a Monmouth County local haha =) .

Brighton Eye Care LLC is a freestanding eye health care facility providing excellent care by a professional and knowledgeable staff. My first visit was recent and I have every intention of returning. The facility is kept refreshingly cool (it is summertime now!) and it is clean and neat. Thanks to the extensive testing and professionalism of Dr. P. and his staff I now have distance glasses as well as reading glasses that are appropriate to my needs. Having the appropriate prescription glasses makes a huge difference in my life and I am very thankful that I sought an appointment here after having been advised to do so by another grateful patient. I returned for an adjustment of my glasses and they now fit me beautifully! I strongly recommend Brighton Eye Care LLC for your eye care needs!

Pros- None Cons- 1- They try to double charge for services, read your bill. 2- Not a great selection of frames compared to competitors. 3- Reading glasses did not fit so they bent the frame. This $300 pair of reading glasses still do not feel right. 4- Bifocal sunglasses returned with wrong script. The had to reexamine my wife for a new pair. Over a month has passed and no glasses. 5- They will try to convince you to do a barrage of very expensive unneeded tests. 6- Very long wait time. 7- Overpriced, overpriced, overpriced! (My first time getting glasses, They saw me coming.) Advice: Go to an eye doctor for medical exam, but not this Doctor. For glasses you are better off going to Walmart than this place. It will save you hundreds of dollars. Word to the wise.

Its only been eight months since my Brighton Eye Care exam and subsequent purchase of three lenses and one new frame from Brighton. My vision never seemed good enough since then, but I blamed it on my extended computer activity. Recently I decided to visit another eye doctor only to be told my Brighton prescription was so far off, it should have been prescribed to another person. I spent three hours at Brighton last October, spent a fortune and never felt comfortable with the treatment. I have just spent that money again to obtain the proper prescription, so my concerns last October were valid. I can finally see.

While working I got a foreign particle in my eye. It was very irritated and left my eye watery and itchy. I called Brighton Eye Care and Dr. Peneiras took me in as their first appointment Monday morning. He did a thorough exam of my eye and checked to make sure there were no scratches in the eye. He then cleaned out the eye and I left the office feeling 100 times better! No more eye issues and I now know where to go for all of my eye care needs.

Dr. Peneiras and his staff are wonderful. They are very caring people. They took their time with me and made sure to answer all of my questions before leaving. It turns out that I need to see a corneal specialist and Dr. Peneiras called the specialist personally to fill him in on my situation. I cant say enough about this establishment. I couldnt recommend them more. Thanks again.

I have gone to other eye doctors in the past and never found someone as caring and friendly as Dr. Peneiras. He examined my son with professionalism and based on his testing found the issue my son was having with his vision that other doctors have failed to diagnose. My son now has the appropriate prescription and no more headaches.

I went to Brighton eye care for an eye exam for myself & my daughter with Dr. Penieras. This was my daughters first eye exam. Dr. Penieras was terrific with her. The entire office staff was very helpful and friendly. It was a great experience. I highly recommend Dr. Penieras.

If you buy eye glasses they dont check if it needs adjust they just hand it here and go . Good for exam only, Im not happy with service of the eye glasses i received .
