I had the worst experience of my life at their emergency room. I got there at 3 am with a severe abdominal pain. After some wait I was given a so-called "room" - which was basically a bed in the corner with a curtain on either side with zero privacy. There was no room in between the curtains and the bed. They had pretty much 10 percent of the entire floor provided for patients beds! I could see everybody walking by and everybody could see me. I had to change into a hospital gown divided from some homeless men with nothing by a covered with something looking like blood curtain. Absolutely disgusting. The staff didnt care about my discomfort whatsoever. Nevertheless, I decided to give it some time because this was the closest hospital to my house. After two more hours without any of the medical staff approaching me, I wasnt given any pain medication. The beeper at the other guys bed was literally beeping every 5 seconds in my ear for two straight hours and the nurse at the desk didnt bother to turn it off at all. Closer to 6 am I was approached by an insurance lady who collected my insurance information and was asking me questions whether I am religious or not which I felt like was really irrelevant at this point. I havent seen any of the stuff taking care of the patients so I was wondering why it was taking so long for them to see me. I was in so much despair laying there and crying from pain and seeing a bunch of doctors and nurses basically hanging about and playing with their cellphones without bothering to even look at me for one second that I decided to leave. It took me 30 more minutes to get my insurance cards back. So, here I was, 3 hours later with no help provided whatsoever, depressed and dying from pain. I would have given it zero stars if I could. I think if I was to die right there in front of these people nobody would give a rats ass. I have never seen medical staff so indifferent and lazy. Please if you have a chance to go to any other ER do so, this is a waste of time.

Este hospital es una Porqueria, cuando fuimos con mi hermana de emergencia apesar de que habia una hispana que hablaba espanol cuando le pregunte por alguien que hablaba espanol la muy descarada me dijo NO, luego vino y hablo en espanol cuando ya me enoje xq la tenian alli a mi hermana sin hacer nada. Tanto algunas enfermeras como algunos doctores son unos ineptos solo trabajan alli por la plata mas no por la salud del paciente. Y mi otra queja es mi mami tiene roto el brazo el lunes se fue con el referido del doctor primario y le hicieron la cita para el viernes y las muy tontas vuelven a pedirle el referido cuando no le dijeron nada el lunes. Como ya dije este hospital no sirve si a algunos le han funcionado chevere pero en nuestro caso nada que ver por eso le doy 0 d PUNTUACION

This hospital is the nearest to me so i ended up taking my younger brother here for breathing problems. Once we were inside the ped ward there was only two nurses that were attentive to the patients there. The nurse that was assigned to us was sitting behind the desk for hours just chatting and looking bored. When he finally came into exam my brother he looked like he did not want to be there. It was a physicians assistant that attended to him. Then he ordered he get an xray and a ecg. The nurse techinician that performed the ecg looked really ederly she told my little brother that he needed to shave before coming to the hospital because hes really hairy and it makes it harder for the staff. Who does that hes a 16 year old going through puberty whos sick how was he going to have time to shave. After she performed the ecg she nodded her head and said that he needed to lay off of pepper and spicy food so I responded saying he doesnt eat that kind of food so she again repeated the same thing without even giving a reason why she would say that. They didnt prescribe him anything and told him to take motrin for pain. Worst hospital suprised i didnt die when i got appendix removed here. There needs to be better hospital staff because its hard for people who live in the area to go anywhere else but here

Estamos en un area que domina el hispano, y es una verguenza que casi nunca tienen interprete y tan importante que es poder comunicarnos con el doctor de turno. Y lo peor es cuando estamos en el area de la Tiroides. Mi hija desde el trabajo tuvo que servirme de interprete para que yo pudiera saver lo que me decia la doctora. Ahora mi hija tiene otro trabajo y no puede ayudarme, por esa razon hace tiempo no voy a chequearme la tiroide por que tendre que llegar a mi casa sin saber nada de lo que me dijo la doctora. Por eso yo le doy un 00000. Apesar que donde sacan la sangre son muy buenas .

ESTE HOSPITAL NO SOLO ES EL MÁS MALO DE LA CIUDAD, TAMBIÉN LA GENTE QUE TRABAJA AHÍ ES MUY MALEDUCADA , PARECE QUE LES MOLESTA QUE VAYAN LAS PERSONAS A EL HOSPITAL, CREO QUE SERIA MEJOR QUE SE QUEDEN EN LA CASA Y LES DEPOSITEN EL CHEQUE EN SU CUENTA. PARECE QUE NO SUPIERAN QUE SUS SUELDOS SALEN DEL BOLSILLO DE LOS CONTRIBUYENTES. INCLUSIVE SON DEMASIADO GROSEROS CUANDO UNO LLAMA POR TELÉFONO A PEDIR CUALQUIER INFORMACIÓN Y SI LLAMAS AL DEPARTAMENTO DE COMUNICACIÓN TE TIRAN EL TELÉFONO TAN DURO QUE TE QUEDA DOLIENDO EL OÍDO.

absolute worst hospital !!!!! most unprofessional doctors you will ever see. if you want to get infected with something and then suffer for a few days until someone Cares then by all means go to wyckoff. doctors fight each others diagnosis in front of the patient there is a whole bunch of kid doctors running around unSupervised thinking they know what they are doing. my wife ended up in natural labor for 36 hours in excruciating pain and then when they failed the took for a csection and then left her heal on her own in 3 days he visited her once. Some doctors were also not happy that we were Muslim and got very rude when we mentioned we needed a woman doctor and it was an anesthesiologist and he left my wife suffer for hours before some other doctor came. BUT if it wasnt for the experience of the nursing staff the disaster would have been a catastrophe. DO NOT GO TO THIS HOSPITAL IF U WANT TO BE TREATED LIKE A HUMAN BEING.

i wouldnt even waste a star on them. I was rushed there via ambulance for severe headaches and back pain with nausea that led to vomitting due to a bad lumbar puncture. When i got there i threw up 4 times. I was not given water or fluids or even electrolyts to sustain me. I arrived at 2am and was not seen by a doctor until 9am who basically wrote me off like my pain was to be expected. Not even bothering to look at my chart. I was given a morphine shot to shut me up. Afterwards i came to and had to beg for water; after which i was given one 6 oz cup of water they got from the nurses station sink. Sick and weak i prayed to my heavenly father for strength and the walked out of the ER. I am writing the city and the state about them and i encourage a petition be started to have that hospital removed and its staff fired. Whichever comes first. If you go to "why cough" its name speaks for itself. They are horrible.
