I went to Aspen because I was having an occasional toothache, and thought they would be less expensive than my previous dentist. I am on fixed income . Dr Megna told me I had 2 cavities, one where I was having the concern, and one on the other side of my mouth, where I wasnt even having a problem. She thought both looked like they were into the pulp, and both needed root canals and crowns.I have had a root canal in the past, and know how a tooth feels that is in that bad a condition...these didnt feel that bad. Cost for these 2 teeth...$4,400! Also, a third tooth looked like it had "microseepage" around the filling, and should also be crowned...another $900.00! They did ask if I had insurance, but when I said no, never mentioned the" Dental Plans" that they participate in, which couldve saved me $1000.I found that out later when I started "Googling" them. Not being able to afford all this, I went back to my previous Dentist, who is well known, and has been in business for about 20 yrs.for a second opinion. He took some x-rays of those 2 teeth...and couldnt even FIND a cavity!! The tooth I was having some trouble with was irritated . He told me to leave it be for a few days...havent had a problem since! That was almost a month ago! Aspen also said I would have to come in every 4-5 weeks for "agressive therapy" for my "severe gum disease". My previous Dentist said if he had seen gum disease before he would have told me, and doesnt see any sign of it now...the fact that Im 62 yrs old and a smoker, my gums have receeded some, but no bleeding, no disease.! Was it the fact that Im an older, mature woman who they expected had money to spend on keeping her teeth in good shape, as opposed to, perhaps, a college student, who wouldnt be able to afford all this? I dont know that answer, but feel like Aspen was no more than a BIG SCAM, as far as MY experience goes! Oh, by the way... the long term plan was 2 more crowns, for a total of 5, on teeth that were o.k. but had a lot of filling. Total for all this would have been over $10,000 !! I didnt pay that much for my last vehicle!!

We would like to thank everyone at Aspen Dental in Dunkirk, NY for the warm and kind welcome, to the efficient care. We ever had mixed emotions about leaving our faithful dentist of long standing. However, at 91, and transportation being an expensive problem we felt it in our best interest to be done at one location and give credit where credit is due. Although, far beyond the call of duty, we want to expecially thank the Doctor for the kind and thoughtful call the evening of my surgery. It was reasuring and appreciated. The financial agreement was easy, and very efficiently accomplished. Everyone has been most kind and helpful with our questions and changing appointments for our convenience. We have no regret in our decision to use Aspen Dental and have found the care and compassion to exceed our expectation. We remain grateful to one and all that participated in my care. I can now resume my usual life style with a smile and confidence. It will be our extreme pleasure to refer anyone seeking dental care to you kind people and the excellent care. With sincere gratitude Jack.

I have gone quite a few years with no insurance and therefore, lack of dental care. It is really hard when you have no insurance. You tend not to take care of yourself as you should when you cant afford to do so. I have been to dentists when I had no insurance. They tell me all the things I need to get done, but are not willing to work with my on the financial end. So I have had to pass on things. And then I finally got insurance and found ASPEN DENTAL!!! Everybody is so nice. So pleasant to talk to. I have many problems with my mouth, (which I knew), and they dont make me feel bad about it like some dentists have in the past. They worked out a plan of treatment with me and have been taking care of all of my dental problems. My insurance is limited, so they ALSO worked out a very affordable payment plan with me to pay what my insurance ISNT covering. They WANT you to have a healthy mouth and a nice smile. I am very happy with my experiences here so far. I recommend them to everyone. Thank you ASPEN DENTAL for helping me get my smile back!!!! =D

My experience was terrible. I recently changed employers, therefore I was forced to find a new dentist in my network. Aspen was the closest in proximity to my home so I scheduled an appointment. My appointment was scheduled for 9- I arrived and checked in at 8:35- I sat in the waiting room for and hour and 15 minutes. When the dental assistant took me back she took my X-rays and told me she would have to return me to the waiting room. Trying to be understanding I complied. I waited another 30 minutes to be called back. The assistant sat me in the chair and said "I would imagine it will be close to another hour before the doctor is with you, hes the only one here today and theres still two people ahead of you that have yet to be seen ahead of you." I replied "if I would have known Id spend 4 hours waiting to see a doctor I wouldve gone to buffalo." I left the office without even seeing a doctor. I immediately called a different dentist in my network. I will gladly take my hard earned coverage and money elsewhere.

My experience with aspen dental has been only with dr. Mark siegel. And he was assisted by tara. I am curently in the process of getting inplants put in for my 2 front teeth. At this time i useing a fliper while my gums heal. On jan. 10th 2017 we go to the next phase and get the studs put in. And Im so glad of that. This has been a long process to go threw, but the professionalism of dr. Siegel and tara has been outstanding while performing and explaining each step, and making sure im comfortable during each procedure. That alone means so much. Jolene also has been very helpful explaining everything to me. Im 51 years old and missing my two front teeth has not been easy to deal with. So to aspen dental, and dr. Siegel, tara, Jolene, thank you so much for helping me get my smile back.
