I had read all of these Google/Yelp reviews and had high hopes for this practice. It turned out being the worst experience Ive had with an optometrists office since Ive been wearing contacts, which is over 10 years. I recently relocated to the area and needed a new exam so I could get more contacts as they were running out. Last time I went to Costco and I am really regretting not doing so again. The visit with the doctor went fine. I have a rather difficult prescription to fill with an astigmatism. The doctor advised me that if this new prescription did not work, I would need to get treated with antibiotics as I had bumps under my eye lid which caused the contact to shift. The trials he gave me did not fit well and I had the same issue. Irritation got worse. I could flat out not wear the contacts. I called tonight and asked if the doctor could write the prescription for antibiotics and I could pick them up at the pharmacy. The doctor was in with a patient and the receptionist advised he would have him call me. That call never came. He or someone else could have easily said he got busy, can you come in tomorrow? Also, they did not bill me correctly and said they would fix it and call me back. That was 3 weeks ago. Avoid this place. Very unprofessional. Worst customer service Ive experienced in a long time. Dont set expectations you cant meet, simple.

After moving to Colorado a few months ago, I needed to find a new eye care provider. I did a lot of research throughout all of Denver in considering who my new eye doc would be. I am very familiar with the field as I am an eye care provider myself. I came across Dr. Bardash at Dr. Spex Vision Care and made an appointment. I was incredibly pleased with his professionalism and knowledge. He truly cares about his patients. I felt his nature of practicing was exactly how I like to treat my own patients. The office was modern, beautiful, and had a lot of frames to choose from. Last but definitely not least, his staff was awesome. Each individual I interacted with was sincere and really helpful. After all my research and my personal experience with this office I knew it was special and one of a kind. I think the biggest compliment of my satisfaction is that I applied myself for a position with Dr. Spex Vision Care. I now see patients there along with Dr. Bardash. I know youll be as pleased as I was when you come to see either one of us.

I have worn glasses since early childhood, so Ive spent a little while at the optometrist over the years. Dr. Bardash and Dr. Benson are optometrists who really LISTEN. I recently saw Dr. Benson, and he was incredibly kind, sincere, and took care to address all of my concerns (even the frivolous ones, he was quite open and frank in our discussion of colored contacts.) He is incredibly knowledgeable and really took the time to talk with me. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend Dr. Spex to anyone who needs prompt and compassionate eye care. I ordered new glasses on a Monday, and they were ready by Wednesday night! It is worth driving a long way to get here, they are the BEST! This is also a small business, so you can feel good about supporting some great doctors! Another great bonus: they will price match 1-800-Contacts and any other online service, so I got a great deal on a year supply of contacts!

My brother recommended I see Dr. Bardash and Im glad I did. It was a great experience from the minute I walked in the door until I left. I am a bit of a geek and like seeing pix inside the body. He showed me pictures of my retina and compared it to a damaged retina. It was a great education and fun for me. He was really easy to talk to. I felt very comfortable with him and I didnt feel like he was condescending to me, like other Drs are. We even joked around a bit. The woman at the front desk was great too. She explained a new technique for looking at the retina and it was very interesting. The woman that was fitting me for my new glasses checked her work to make sure my glasses would be delivered to me correctly the first time. Also, Dr. Bardash likes me better than my brother so thats always a bonus! You should go see him. Hes great.

My family has been going to Dr. Bardash for a few years now, and I would never go anywhere else. I have been to other optical places in the past "Vision Care Specialist", "Vision Works" just to name a couple, they could never come close to Dr. Bardash and his staff. The staff isand always have been very courteous and knowledgeable, and professional. I cannot say enough about Dr. Bardash. I would not trust anyone else with our eyes. Dr. Bardash is always very FRIENDLY, CARING, & PROFESSIONAL. His exams are very thorough, and he explains everything in detail. He definitely cares about the health of your eyes, and he will also ask you the patient if you have any concerns or questions regarding your eyes that you wish to address. I am very HAPPY to have Dr. Bardash as Our Optometrist.

All of the staff members at Dr. Spex Vision Care are extremely kind and helpful. I have had eye problems for years now and dont trust just anyone with my eyes. I had found Dr. Spex on Yelp and read nothing but really positive reviews, and I have nothing but more positive comments to write! Dr. Bardash did a great job of accurately correcting my prescription and even referred me to another doctor who performs keratoconus procedures, which I am VERY thankful for. Dr. Kasper diagnosed me with an eye infection during my first visit to Dr. Spex and she did a great job of explaining exactly what was going on and why. These doctors are friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. I would recommend checking them out!!

I am very near sighted and have been having a very hard time for the past several years finding a glasses and contact prescription that has truly corrected my vision. Recently I visited Dr. John Bardash at Dr. Spex Vision Care in Denver, CO. Not only do my contacts work great but I also purchased a really cute pair of glasses. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I felt very comfortable asking questions about the expansive and diverse selection that Dr. Spex had to offer. I now have a pair of glasses that I love and also a prescription for my glasses and contacts that helps me be able to see very clearly up close and far away thanks to Dr. Bardash and the very nice staff at Dr. Spex Vision Care! :))

I needed to find an Optometrist fast after breaking my glasses at work, and Dr. Spex Vision Care, to my surprise, was just around the corner from where I live (I had been looking for one closer to work down in Centennial for day trips if needed). Well, nevermind that - these folks were on point, with a great selection, and the exam was fast and friendly. My new glasses are on the way, and should be here soon, and it was just all around a great experience. If I had to comment on one thing, when I rolled in there, it smelled a bit like an air handler or the duct work needed cleaning or something, had that sort of dank old-building scent. Easy to ignore, but curious none the less.
