Dr. Turowski did a beautiful job performing my complicated rhinoplasty revision, and now - only five weeks out - I could not be happier with the result. After being completely unimpressed and discouraged with the aesthetic outcome of three previous surgeries, I scheduled a consultation with Dr. Turowski expecting to either be told there was nothing that could be done to help me at this point OR that he could improve the size and shape of my nose (as my previous two surgeons had said) only to be disappointed yet again post-operatively. Thankfully, neither was the case. I was beyond impressed at the initial consultation when Dr. Turowski took my profile picture and immediately uploaded it onto his computer to show me what I could expect as a realistic outcome, should I undergo a fourth and final procedure (my previous surgeon had me schedule an additional appointment to view these electronic enhancements weeks later). I appreciated the time he took to not only set realistic expectations, as to not get my hopes again, but also to warn me of the complications such a revision poses. Still unsure, I came back for a second follow up consult a few weeks later. Dr. Turowski was unbelievably patient - as I now know how valuable his time is - and again weighed the pros and cons for me. His nurse, Lauren, answered many of my questions as well and I was comfortable enough to go ahead and schedule the surgery. It was my most expensive procedure however, which was a huge hesitation of mine. Well worth it though and understandable given Dr. Turowskis credentials. Procedure went seamlessly. I was much more comfortable at New Horizons on-site surgical facility than in a hospital, as I had been previously. Very clean and modern, yet I still felt that it was a very professional and safe environment for surgery. Staff was amazing beforehand. Cant say I remember much after that, but I was impressed the next day when I checked my voice mail and had received not only calls from a nurse and the anesthesiology team, but from Dr. Turowski too. Maybe thats not uncommon, but neither of my previous surgeons had called themselves to see how I was feeling. My recovery for the next week was honestly pretty rough, but that was most likely due to the complexity of my revision. Laurens post-operative instructions helped me through it. Lots of bruising and swelling, all normal though. LOVED my nose as soon as the cast came off.. it had been significantly shortened, with the bump shaved down. Naturally my nose had a subtle but visible curve to one side, also gone. Even though I was still extremely swollen, it immediately looked better than it had before. The scar from the incision is obviously still visible, and hopefully will fade with time. Each week as the swelling fades, I become more pleased. Not only did Dr. Turowski under-promise and over-deliver, but blew me away with his aesthetic skill and professional "bedside manner." From my initial consultation to my most recent follow up appointment, the entire staff has exceeded my expectations. For anyone considering any type of elective or cosmetic procedure, I cannot stress enough the importance of feeling a positive connection with your doctor, their office and support team; it makes all the difference in your experience and outcome!

Where to start. Well I am a young male. I have had under eye bags that have bothered me for the longest, since I was 13 to be exact. I am now in my early 20s. I got my first job at age 19 and since then I have saved. It was hard work saving for the mere fact that I had a restaurant job earning minimum wage. It took me nearly 4 years to save up $8,000. I had been saving for this event. I admit I was very excited and quite optimistic about this procedure. I did some research and in the end, chose New Horizons. The receptionist was an absolute sweetheart, made me feel very comfortable. I initially was going to go with Dr. Turowski but ultimately chose Dr. Lou because of his l "experience" with ethnic people. First off, Dr. Turowski, founder of New Horizons was going to charge me $2,000 for Blepharoplasty. Their prices were supposed to run the same but Dr. Lou somehow ended up charging me $2,500. So I payed $2,500 and he ended up ruining my left eye. First off, he was a half hour LATE to my operation day. He charged me an arm and a leg yet he was a half hour late. He was very quick with the markings and didnt even show me what marks he made on my face. I was rushed into surgery. Afterwards, he wasnt even there when I came out of my procedure. What I have now is slight hollowing in my left eye (too much fat taken out) and the right eye is still puffy. I can deal with the right eye still being puffy but the asymmetry is just awful. On top of that the worst thing, there is retraction of my lower left eyelid. When I brought this to his attention, I was astounded that he still wouldnt admit his wrong doing. He tried to tell me that my eye was originally like that, as if I dont know the physiology of my own face. Then he suggested the massing method, something I had already taken in fruition once I seen the damage prior to my first post op visit. I continued doing the massage. I got the procedure done on July 3, 2013. It is now February 19, 2014 and still nothing has improved. I feel as if I was robbed of my hard earned money. If I request revision surgery Im am positive he will charge me, I feel I shouldnt have to pay a penny any fee for this. He had stated hes not happy unless I am, which is in my opinion not valid, since my money is in his account and I am left with a retracted eyelid.

Horrible experience! I recently had a tummy tuck and breast augmentation surgery performed by Dr. Turowski. After having 2 babies I developed a hernia and bulge in my upper abdomen for which Dr. T recommended a mini tummy tuck procedure including hernia repair and tightening of abdominal muscles. During consultation appointments Dr.T said my case was minor and promised that I would have a flat stomach after the surgery. Im 5 9 and 125lb and consider myself to be skinny. The pain after the surgery was awful, as to be expected but the reason Im writing this review is how things went from there. I was told in 6 weeks would be healed completely and saw Dr. T almost weekly for post-op visits. Every time I came in he said things looked great but as I was healing things were not looking great at all. 3 weeks after surgery I developed a varicose vein in my thigh and worried that it was an embolism I came in to have it checked out. Before even looking at my leg Dr.T said ironically that "he did not work on my leg". Its been 6 weeks post surgery and my abdominal bulge looks the same as before surgery. When I confronted him about the lack or results his response was that need to lose weight and that its the fat surrounding my intestines that is protruding thru. I understand that sometimes surgeries do not go as well as expected and results should not be guaranteed (which he did) but to tell me in my face that I need to lose weight when I never have been skinnier in my life is insulting and ignorant. I spend 15k in his office and I would expect better treatment. Do not be fooled like me by his diplomas, they do not reflect the lack of communication skills and arrogance that this man has. He is all about the money, and for this amount you can get much better results and treatment somewhere else.
