Let me begin by simply saying Dr. Morrison has made a difference in my quality of life...for the better. I have written a long summary below if you care to read it of the examples that help me live a happier and more comfortable life. His approach to being a chiropractor is different than any other I have visited. I would and do recommend him to anyone that doesnt believe that chiropractors can help aches and pains that have been going on for years or something that has happened recently. I can not express how much I appreciate felling better, and knowing that I dont have to live with pain...I simply hope that anyone that has a question about their pain, to stop by and at least speak with him about it. I explain the below only to help someone attach their own experiences to what I have seen, in an effort to aid in understanding the significance. So, I have been to many different chiropractors over the past 20 years, and Dr. Morrison is the first that changed my view of what a chiropractor actually does. If you have visited any other physician over the years to do some type of adjustment, then you know that many adjustments they perform are similar. For example, with a neck adjustment, you lie on your back, they sit behind you, pick up your head, move it around slowly to either side, and then snap, they adjust it in place. And for a while, in my case about 1.5 to 2 years, it would be fine. Then, one day I would tweak it again, and couldnt move my neck to the right without pain, and could only move it slightly to the left with minimal pain. This reoccurred for almost 6 years. I had been told that I simply needed to stretch more, or strengthen the muscles in that area to prevent it from occurring again. Well, that is fine, until I had followed the steps that were asked of me, and it still happened. Dr. Morrison took the time to explain why it was a reoccurring injury, and that it had nothing to do with stretching in this case. What was happening, is that I spend a majority of my time at a desk, slouched of course, with my head slightly down and extended over my chest. He explained that since your head weighs around ~8-9 lb, it puts strain on your neck muscles over time. This is why I would have the exact same issue every 1.5 to 2 years. The explanation was much appreciated. Let me explain the main aspect that sold me on his practice . The first session he asked me to hold my thumb and pinky finger together as tight as I could while he tried to pull them apart, which he was able to do with some ease. As he went through the rest of the adjustment, he would test different areas of strength before and after each adjustment, which allowed me to feel the difference. Also, at the end of the first session, I held my thumb and pinky together again, and had noticeably more strength. This is what sold me on his practice. An example of this is something that has happened in the last month. I race motorcycles as a hobby and recently had an accident at the track where my ribs were injured (If you dont believe me, check my YouTube page at TheTFLO1010). I went three weeks in pain, not being able to sleep on my side, nor taking a deep breath, or bending over to lift my shoe off the ground. It didnt matter what motion, I was in pain. On the 3rd week, I went in for my scheduled appointment, explained to him what had happened and he began his analysis. He first tested the strength in my arm on the left side with two different tests, in which I was able to resist his efforts to pull my arm away from where he ask me to hold it. Then, he began evaluation on my right side where I was having all of the pain. I was not able to resist the force applied (which you can definitely feel) in this case. He then reset my ribs, which I didnt know was possible. As soon as he made the adjustment, I could take a deep breath without any pain. I hope that the above helps in understanding why I am appreciative of Dr. Morrison and his practice. I would also concur that at $20 after the first visit, it is an absolute no brainer. Thank you.

I visited this place a little less than a year ago because it was the only place that was open on Saturdays and also the price was very inexpensive, and for that, this place is great. However, I wanted to comment on the chiropractor as a health care professional. I have acquired injuries here and there from physical activities and unfortunately had a chance to meet a wide range of health care professionals from Acupuncturist and Chiropractor (not this place) to different specialists and surgeons, and I can say that the experience that I had here was the worst. From how I remember, which is quite clearly, I felt like the Chiropractor had a pretty dismissive attitude in not letting me fully explain my symptoms and how I got injured but insisting that he is the doctor and I don’t need to explain these things. Also, it did not seem like he was very interested in providing explanations either. The session that I had here was the first chiropractic session that I have ever had. When I asked him what was going to be done, he didn’t provide much explanations, but rather left me guessing, until those things were done to me. Another thing that I think is worth telling is how critical he is of physical therapy. I’m fine with health care professionals (or anyone for that matter) being critical of or not being fond of different disciplines. However, the Chiropractor seemed to almost have a disdain for physical therapy. It was to the point that when I briefly mentioned what I did with my physical therapists before, and before I could even finish explaining anything, he jumped in and started criticizing them for what they didn’t do, which interestingly, was exactly what they did do. Perhaps he doesn’t like to listen to the end of the sentence or let his patients finish explaining before jumping in. Or… even more importantly, perhaps he is narrow-minded and is unwilling to let his patients get help from other disciplines that he doesn’t quite agree with. BUT considering how widely used something like physical therapy is, and how it has given many people adequate to good results, I don’t think giving a such biased opinion and being so quick to shut it down to his patient is an appropriate attitude that ANY health care professional should have. These attitudes that I observed was over multiple sessions and did not change during those sessions.

I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia over 10 years ago and suffered from the symptoms for much longer than that. I was in pain every day, 24/7. I was sent to all types of specialists, ranging from internal medicine, neurologists, pain management and of course physical therapy. I was taking many medications as well as having monthly trigger point injections. Nothing seemed to really helped long term, I resigned myself to the fact that I would just have to deal with the pain. My inability to sleep and the pain associated with everyday task became too much. After I was given Dr. Morrison’s information and had listened to my friends’ success story, I was still skeptical. My first thought, was that this was just another promise of relief in a long line of failed treatments, but what do I have to lose. Long story short, I am now sleeping without medication. I’m no longer take antidepressants, blood pressure medication, fluid pills, and pain pills. For months now, I haven’t had the Fibro pains, jerking legs, tightening muscles or fatigue that had plagued me nonstop for years. Needless to say, I am now a true believer in the science behind chiropractic. I highly recommend Dr. Morrison!
