One day while playing golf I felt pain and numbness racing down my butt and into my right thigh. I continued to play in constant pain on and off for two months. The constant pain and numbness were unbearable. I searched the web for a solution in my area and discovered Dr. Vincent Buonanno. Dr. Buonanno seemed like a very knowledgeable doctor so I agreed to get an MRI and find out what was wrong with me. The MRI showed that I had a severely ruptured lumbar disc at L5-S1 and it was compressing on a nerve. With the severity of my condition he referred me to one of the top spinal surgeons in NYC. The surgeon recommended an operation, but I wanted to try the less invasive approach first. Dr. Buonanno treated me with spinal decompression and physical therapy. It took a week to feel the difference, but after a couple of weeks into treatment I was completely without pain. I am able to move again and the pain and numbness are completely gone. I really believe that if I had surgery, I wouldn’t have had the results. Dr. Buonanno’s hands-on techniques work. He knew exactly what to do. He is an amazing doctor. I am certain if it weren’t for him, I would have undergone surgery.
