I agree with the other 2 reviews and obviously nothing has improved over the years. My first negative encounter was when I had to wear a 24 hour heart monitor. When the time came to remove it, the nurse ripped it off of me and after almost a year later, I still have the marks on my body. At my follow up appointment with Dr. Horowitz, I showed him the marks, but he didnt comment on that. I had several stress tests taken and was advised everything was okay. A few months later, I received a copy of a letter that was sent to my insurance company saying that I had a history of heart disease, which I was never told about. It naturally was a concern of mine, especially since I run marathons and if there was a heart issue, I should have been notified. I called the office several times to speak with Dr. Horowitz and he never returned my call. I finally spoke with the receptionist and she asked me what I wanted. I told her that I wanted to speak with the Dr. She was as rude as can be and told me that once something is written on a record, it cannot be removed. All I wanted was an explanation as to why this information was not given to me, and all the tests I had taken shown that nothing was wrong. Eventually, she passed me on to the office manager, Andrea, who told me the same thing and was very rude herself. She told me that I needed to make an appointment with Dr. Horowitz. I did not want to pay for another office visit, when I felt that the information I was looking for can be related to me over the phone, or at least a courtesy phone call from Dr. Horowitz. Andrea then said she was going to hang up on me and so she did. I dont understand how people can be so rude, especially in a medical facility.

The doctor himself seemed knowledgeable and to be a good physician. However, his staff is horrific and unprofesional. Do not expect a phone call back from his staff or especially the doctor. When confronted on why I was never called back I was told "the doctor doesnt call anyone back" and I should not expect a call. A women named Andrea is someone who I dealt with multiple times, and I have no doubt she is a reason people leave this practice. Andrea is extremely rude and down right unproffesional on the phone. Trust me and stay away from this practice! Horrible experience all around honestly.

Ive been a patient here for over five years. I used to see Dr. Rosenblum until he retired in 2014. Now the office has the same amount of patients, is accepting new patients, and only had one doctor: Dr. Horowitz. Aside from the fact that Ive had to wait at least 45 minutes past my scheduled appointment time since my previous doctor retired, Dr. Horowitz is rushed, crass, and doesnt really seem remotely interested in his patients wellbeing. Avoid this place at all costs. There are a ton of doctors in the Aventura area, so go elsewhere.

The Office manager is extremely rude and unprofessional (Andrea) she doesnt know how to treat people. You go there to get your doctor check up and you leave sick because of their unprofessionalism of the staff...and dont try to complain with the doctors since they dont care either...unbelievable

Worst office staff ever. Horowitz himself is pretty knowledgeable and helpful, but the overall experience has continued to be terrible. We are looking for a new doctor.
