Dr. Smith is a uniquely dedicated professional that goes above and beyond with his patients. I have been to many doctors that were quick to prescribe various heavy drugs without addressing the core issues behind them. Dr. Smith immediately addresses the important role nutrition and environmental toxins play in our day to day health, and he is patient in explaining what things might affect us medically and why. With his help, I have been able to completely stop taking the many medications I was on previously, and I have never felt healthier. He helps identify triggers to certain conditions with massive amounts of knowledge of the human body-down to the cellular level. Dr. Smith is also the first physician to complete a true physical on me, and additionally, he reviews my bloodwork in full with me to assure that I understand how my own body works. I could not imagine seeing another professional after receiving the attentive care and compassion that I have working with Dr. Smith. He is a truly dedicated professional- always learning, researching, and teaching those around him and in his community. Chiropractic issues,stomach issues, metabolic issues, chronic disease- you name it- he can fix it with helpful lifestyle suggestions, vitamins, and a lot of TLC :) Thanks for manifesting the integrity and passion for health that all of the medical profession should!

I have been a patient of Dr. Robert Smith for over 7 years, and I highly recommend Dr. Smith. I originally saw Dr. Smith as a preventative measure. However, a few years ago, I was involved in an accident and hit my head. There are some people in life who are perfectionists who dedicate themselves fully to what they do. Dr. Smith is one of those people I have been fortunate enough to have met and used for his services. In conversations he takes his time explaining things and cites studies he has read over many years to demonstrate his conclusions. His services are also augmented by his knowledge of nutrition with advice on what to eat and avoid to bring about positive health changes. He also offers advice on what vitamin supplement sources are best as I have learned not all vitamin manufacturers are equal. Personally, my experiences with him have been a blessing. Dr. Robert Smith is a credit to his profession and an important part of the health care community of Baton Rouge, LA. Most chronic ailments typically have dietary components that seldom are addressed without the testing and evaluation he so skillfully performs. A number of years ago, he evaluated and treated me for a gall bladder condition that usually results in surgical removal.
