Our dog was staying for a week in July, luckily my husband had to return to work early so we picked up our dog 2 days earlier. THANK GOD, because he was returned to us at least 8lbs lighter and had , a very bad case of kennel cough. He was vaccinated prior to the stay , we were not called about this and not so sure he would of been okay for another 2 days. Not sure what we were paying $18.00 a day for to have our pet returned to us in this condition. Also very smelling and had dust and cobwebs all over him. We will never be boarding our dog there again, oh yeah he wasnt able to wag his tail for a week, vet said probably a sprain?????

The first time we left our dog here, she wound up with a bad case of kennel cough, despite being vaccinated. I understand the vaccination only protects against certain strains, so two years later we tried again. Needless to say, almost like clockwork, I am back at the vet with a sick dog after staying here. I would not recommend boarding your dog here, weve used other much cleaner kennels while traveling, now I just need to find one close to home.

My 2 little dogs have just spent a wonderful week at Porter Road Pet Care. The staff are friendly and kind and really know how to put a pet owner at ease. My family and I were able to enjoy our vacation with the peace of mind that our furry little family members were being well taken care of. My pets always love going here. We have been boarding our dogs here for a long time. They are never afraid when we pull into their driveway. I feel they do an excellent job taking care of animals and I never worry about them when we drop them off. I cant imagine taking them anywhere else.

Friendly care takers! My doggy seems to be happy to see the staff every time she goes! Only thing that worries me is that Indeed they need to watch over the doggies diets and good! My dog seems to loose weight when she stays!

Prices are reasonable. Friendly people working there, it feels like they care about the animals. My dog after a stay there was in the same good condition I left her in and smelled great after they gave her a bath.
