Dr.Winkler and his staff were amazing with our dog, Dexter. Our dog had entropion, and needed immediate surgery on his eye because he was in so much pain. We went in for our initial consultation, and Dr.Winkler immediately knew his condition, and even found ingrown eyelashes and an ulcer in his eye! We scheduled an appointment to get surgery done for Dexter for two weeks later. However, a few days after his consultation, we noticed that he was very uncomfortable. This concerned us, because we didnt want him in any more pain than he already was. We called Dr.Winkler, and he said to bring him in the next morning, and he would perform the surgery right away! Dexter was his first surgery the following morning, and we were able to pick our puppy up by noon! The staff displayed extraordinary compassion toward our dog, and were so incredibly eager to help us and him. They are truly such caring people, and it made me happy to know that he was in such good hands. I would absolutely, without a doubt, recommend him and his team. Thanks again Dr.Winkler and Staff!

Its been a few weeks since I was in here but I didnt want to be. My only experience here was when i put my first dog Fiona down. This dog meant the world to me and she lived from my first day of school to my last. Watching them do what had to be done was one of the most tramatic moments of my life that i will never forget. However the professionals here were so nice and supportive for my mother and i that i could never thank them enough. Then ladies and gentlemen that work here made my dogs passing feel like a sad event for them instead of just another day at the office and for that i cannot thank them enough. I miss my dog but i know i went to the right place. Thank you to everyone that works here.

Dr. Winkler and his staff have provided my dogs excellent care for many years. When it was time for my older dog to be put to sleep, Dr. Winkler was so very kind and caring. I will never forgot how he spoke to us and how he handled this painful task with such empathy and understanding. He is also very willing to explain all proceeds and options available for any procedure. My dogs are family and I love them very much and I truly appreciate the respect he shows to me and my dogs. There are many veterinarians closer to me, but it is well worth the effort and time to travel to see Dr. Winkler. Thank you Dr. Winkler for being there when we need you.

Dr. Winkler and his staff are all very warm and courteous. We have three dogs, all rescues who are regulars at Suffolk vet group. When one of my dogs had to "go to sleep" because he could no longer walk, dr winkler and his staff placed a blanket on the floor and all sat with us while it was done. Afterward he gave us a lock of our dogs hair and all the time we needed to grieve. They always tell you what they will be doing every step of the way, putting any concerns to rest. Helpful, caring and compassionate people.

we were referred to suffolk veterinary group. before going to them we called around comparing prices and customer service. suffolk veterinary group by far excelled over the rest. they treat you as if youre their only patients and they answer and explain any questions or concerns you might have. we only have one dog right now (my kids call him, their brother from another mother) and we wouldnt think about going anywhere else for his medical needs. thank u Dr.Winkler and team.

Dr Winkler and his staff are great! They have a great rapport with both pets and their owners. My dogs have been their for well visits, surgery and sick visits. They show great compassion and patience. I highly recommend them!

Was dealing with skin issues for well over a year on my dog Bandit. This vet was wonderful. Finally!!.....the dogs mange was cured and knocked out a urinary tract infection with one medication......Thank you Dr!!!

POST NOTE: We had other two lumps biopsied and they were negative for spindle cells - they do not have to be removed, after all. Thank goodness we got to the right surgeon for our situation.
