I have received treatments from HDPT for both my knee and back. I walked in with a shoulder and back issue that was almost at a 10 on the pain scale, a breath away from going to the ER, and by the time I left I had enough relief to avoid an ER visit and continue on with my day. The therapists are very in tune with how hard to push you (the office is full of athlete-patients). You’ll even get a decent workout if you’re looking to put in the work. The staff is constantly advancing their education and awareness in their field while delivering results with their patients, which builds an amazing therapist-patient relationship that is founded on confidence and trust. Not only is HDPT immensely flexible (often squeezing me in with less than a day’s notice), they are incredibly personable. Consider HDPT the “Cheers” of PT practices, everybody knows your name and makes an effort to know you and help in your recovery. They are also incredibly active in the Wakefield community; HDPT serves as a fantastic model for other small businesses in the area.

I learned about Glen when my dentist strongly encouraged me to get help with my mis-aligned jaw. I felt as if it was a miracle when the headaches left, the clicking quit, I stopped biting my jaw, and quiet sleep came. Months later, an awful muscle pull just kept cramping and tightening on everything connected , until my entire right side hurt. I couldnt take stairs normally, nor could I get to comfortable position to sleep. I tried muscle massage, hot tub, ice pack, and rest, none of which gave lasting results. Could another "miracle" fix be possible? YES, but this fix took several weeks to relax each of the groups, working back until we found the source causing the pain. Normal feels so great when it doesnt hurt. It wont take me so long to make appointment next time, and I recommend HDPT every chance I get.

I was resistant to go to physical therapy for my plantar fasciitis because of a bad experience with another PT practice. I am so glad I decided to go to HD Physical Therapy! It is a great practice. Everyone who works there is professional, friendly, knowledgeable and upbeat. They have great up to date equipment and techniques. Glenn D and Robert B have really helped my plantar fasciitis. I highly recommend this practice for all of your physical therapy needs.

Everything about their practice is pleasent and welcoming. The set up is one Large open room with many tables and equipment spread out making it an interactive experience. They never make you feel forgotten or unimportant.
