I originally came to Parkview Chiropractic to try to help my 16 year old daughter who has been dealing with back problems. Dr. D. was able to pinpoint her problems after one visit. Something two years of specialists werent able to do. I decided to see if they could help with my lower back. It was tight and would ache badly when I walked long distances. Once again it took only one visit to find the cause. At first my back hurt worse. I wasnt worried because Dr. D. explained that it would get worse before it could get better. Moving things around stresses muscles! Makes sense! After three weeks the pain began to shrink and shift. Then one day it was gone! I could walk 6+ miles without my back hurting or tightening up. I still have a long way to go to reach optimal healing but it is only getting better from here! Oh yeah, my daughter! She is much, much better too! My only regret is that I didnt bring her to Dr. D. two years ago - me too!

After I was diagnosed with degnerative disc disease in 2008, I had pretty much tried everything. I had done procedure after procedure and even to a few pain clinics. Once that didnt help my doctors decided that the Mayo Clinic would be a good option. After they had taken x-rays and an MRI the doctor told me that there was a possibility that I had fibromyalgia and he also said he would pray for me. It wasnt until I went to Parkview, and saw Dr. DeLaforest that I had gotten some answers. Since being in the care of both doctors my back has never felt better. I also suffered from migraines my whole life. I was getting them 3 or 4 times a week and taking imitrex to get rid of them. Now, I havent had a headache in weeks and I dont even think about filling that prescription. I wish I would have found this place sooner, but I am just glad I found it at all.

One day in the summer of 2010, I had so much pain in my back that washing dishes at the kitchen sink required propping myself by my elbows. I didnt understand the pain. How could there be so much dysfunction? The x-rays taken at Parkview by Dr. DeLaForest told the story. The trouble started over 21 years before in a significant car accident, which I thought was left in the past. After a successful treatment plan, I feel much better and am better attuned with my body, which lets me know its time for another adjustment. Dr. DeLaForest has been instrumental with my success. I know there is maintenance involved in my care and that I will never have perfect spinal alignment. Thats fine, because I know where to receive good care... Parkview Chiropractic.

Dr. Kriva has changed my perspective on chiropractic care. I had always been afraid to see a chiropractor and I didnt fully understand the benefits of chiropractic care. I had been suffering from shooting pain down my legs, pain in my hips and lower back, probably due to when I slipped, fell and broke my ankle 6 years earlier. Pain pills and physical therapy didnt work at all. I was so nervous and scared but knew I had to do something because I couldnt live like this. After a few months, the shooting pain down my legs and the pain in my hips were no longer. Its been over a year now, I continue to see Dr. Kriva on a monthly basis for a "tune up". The staff here are always friendly, cheerful and helpful. Thank you so much for helping me feel better.

I always knew one day I would have to have come see a chiropractor. My fathers side of the family has a history of back issues, not to mention the time I picked up a tree and hurt myself. However, I was hoping to put it off until I was in my fourties. See i am terrified of doctors of any kind. Dr. D and Dr. Kriva have made this a very pleasent experience, and almost literally bent over backwards to work things out financially. They really take the time to explain how things work with you, and make sure they are treating you as a person. I dont know about you but that really matters to me.

I have seen a chiropractor most of my life, but I have really appreciated how much the doctors and staff at Parkview explain what is going on and how chiropractic can help. It has been educational as well as a pain relief. I had chronic headaches and would see a chiropractor here and there as I pleased, but they always came back. At Parkview, being on a care plan and allowing my muscles to strengthen through exercises has allowed my adjustments to hold longer and therefore I dont get headaches like I used to. Thank you for all you have done and continue to do.

I am leaving out the Fifth Star because I dont go in that often anymore...maybe they do too good a job. Convenient location, right to the north of I-94 off of Inwood. Plenty of parking. Im 45 years old, a former runner and multi-sport guy...things are starting to break down. Tilted hips, sciatica, degenerative disc...you name it. I like the fact that Dr. Adam has a solid background in sports medicine working with real athletes (unlike me). Hes treated both acute trauma and the "wear and tear" issues like I have. Give Parkview a try.

My wife and I have been getting adjustments from Dr. K. and Dr. D. for more than 13 years and five members of my family have received treatment at Parkview. Two years ago when I had an acute lower back problem the doctors were there to help me get back into shape. I can say that I am functioning well again through regular chiropractic adjustments, yoga stretches, and daily exercise. I am very thankful for the care given to me and my family at Parkview.

As a dentist, I am always dealing with neck and back problems. Before coming to Dr. DeLaForest I often wondered if my career would be cut short because of my neck pain or back pain. Since becoming a patient of his I have enjoyed more mobility and range of motion and a complete reduction in pain. Ive been very pleased with the care Ive gotten at Parkview Chiropractic for my neck and back pain. There was a clear plan in place from early on and we have regular check-points scheduled at which we will assess progress. Im still early in my care plan, but Im already feeling improvement.
