Spirit delivered me to this excellent dentist whom I feel has literally saved my life! I live far north in WA state, but have been in Newport for 62 days now caring for my son who contracted a very strange syndrome and very nearly lost his life. So my own needs went untended. But Friday it was apparent that swelling and a foul taste in my mouth had to be addressed so I went to the ER room for antibiotics. Saturday I searched online the list of dentists and chose Scott Loiselle’s office because he had the most reviews and they were all glowing. I called his office and to my surprise he answered as he was in the office moving furniture around. I told him my situation and that Monday I had to take my son to the VA hospital in Portand. So he made an appointment for me to come in on Tuesday at 9:30. He knew exactly what had to be done and since it was a large back molar I would need to get an implant six months down the road. So he did a quick removal of the crown, cut the gum, drilled a bit on one root, slit sideways to expose the other two longer roots and pushed them out sideways to avoid them cracking. He had to scape bone a little to be sure all the infection was out. He put in a bone graft, sealed it quite well and took some stitches that will dissolve in a few more days. I didn’t need pain medication. He sent me home with some gel to put on the incision site. Tuesday evening he called me to check and make sure I was doing OK. I was fine, resting reading and so ecstatic that I could begin healing from this whole stressful event. Dr Loiselle even gave me his cell number in case I had an issue or question. I have never been through such a painless dental experience. Dr Loiselle is a professional whose demeanor made me confident that I was in good hands. I am so enthused that I may make the journey down here to Newport to visit my son and become a patient from now on. If you want a great dentist, friendly compassionate office staff and prompt attention, choose this one!

Dr. Scott Loiselle is by far the BEST DENTIST in Oregon! This easily said by me, a current patient who knew EXACTLY what to look for in a dentist, before coming in for extensive treatment one year ago. I have past experience in the dental field and I know what to look for. In my opinion, Dr. Loiselle is one of the small percentage of dentists in the US with extensive knowledge on cutting edge dentistry!! He is a perfectionist, stays current on procedures, and for anyone who is afraid of dentists, dont worry, he is very gentle and kind. Dr. Loiselle has a fantastic team of knowledgable, friendly and driven employees. This group of caring people, make a effective team. Coming in for a visit has always been a carefree and enjoyable experience. However, if you are still in the dark ages, and looking to get amalgam (silver) fillings and root canals these days, believe me, it doesnt really matter where you go. But in the end, youll be sorry. Why? because the health of your mouth is directly related to the health of your body!! Too bad they didnt teach us that in school! Honestly, if you are looking for TOP NOTCH DENTISTRY, go see him and dont settle for less. I eagerly refer all acquaintances, family and friends to him. Can you tell? :-)

I totally agree with the above reviews, as i went in for an infected tooth removal and bone graft implant. The quality of service is top notch. The staff is amazing, Dr Scott is an excellent Dentist. The quality of care and detail that they put in to each patient is absolutely outstanding. My teeth are now fine, the bone implant is taking good hold, and Dr Scott had me back in to check and make sure everything is perfect. Which iit is. Outstanding work and I highly recommend Scott. I went in for a cleaning shortly after, and his staff are absolutely top of the rock in customer service and making you feel comfortable. That was without a doubt the best cleaning I have ever had due to the not only the high end conversations but the commradery of Dr. Scotts office staff. Outstanding is all I can say!!! I highly recommend them for your dentistry needs. Absolutely Outstanding!!!

going to the dentist has never been on my "favorite things to do" list but after visiting Dr. Loiselles office several times this year I would have to say Ill happily keep up with my twice a year exam and cleaning and I know from experience Dr. Loiselle will take care of problems when they arise with knowledge, compassion and a wonderful, gentle touch. Scheduling my appointment was a breeze, my insurance was handled for me and I was seen promptly. Amanda was wonderful, assisting Dr. Loiselle she kept me comfortable and informed and even had me relaxed and smiling throughout the procedure. Hygienist Stevie was quick and painless and I left her chair with a beautiful, clean and polished smile. I do recommend Newport Dental to my friends and Id recommend them to anyone seeking compassionate, intelligent dental care.

The moment I walked in the office I was welcomed by the friendly receptionist who made me feel at ease. I didnt have to wait at all for the Dental Assistant to lead me to my chair. She was very sweet, explaining everything to me as it was happening. Then when Dr Loiselle came in I was pleasantly surprised how nice he was, taking his time with me. He didnt make me feel like he was in a hurry at all. As this was my initial exam he explained in detail the course of action I needed to take. The gal at the front office printed me a complete explaination with the prices listed. When I left I realized the whole experience had produced no anxiety at all. I will definately be going back.

I love going to Dr. Loiselle and his team for my dental care. They have done an amazing job on my circonium implant, inlays and smaller fillings, as well as my regular cleanings. I am now taking my children to Dr. Loiselle as well. We drive all the way from Portland, and it is absolutely worth it, because we feel we are in such good hands and completely trust Dr. Loiselle. He is very attentive and thoughtful and always takes the time to thoroughly go over any procedure with me and to make me feel at ease. His staff is equally as attentive. I know that there are a lot of patients like me, who come from far away, some fly in from other states. This dental office is truly one of a kind.

From my arrival, I was struck by the friendliness and comfortable atmosphere of this dental office. I was ushered to an examintation room where Dr. Loiselle and his staff thoroughly explained all the procedures that I would experience this day. I felt very comfortable knowing what to expect for the next hour or so. The state of the art equipment and the staffs expert use of it made for an efficient and painless experience. From the digital e-rays and photographs of my teeth to the cancer scan and teeth cleaning, Stevie and the entire staff made all the procedures a remarkable and memorable experience. It made my smile something to be proud of again!
