Hands down this is the worst practice Ive dealt with across 3 states and 15 years of caring for dogs. I say this after giving the practice several attempts to be fair... and they failed each time! A wise man once told me, he rarely regretted paying more for something but often regretted paying less. While this practices prices are low, you are paying and receiving incompetence. On multiple occasions now (today being the last), my wife and I have made appointments for shots for our animals. When we arrive they have no clue why we are there or what services need to be rendered. Today, they didnt even have our appointment on the books which was confirmed in an email. Worse yet, I was standing in the lobby today listening to their receptionist call a family who recently had their beloved pet cremated. The receptionist was trying to explain they had a mishap with the ashes. One... dumb move to do that in public, and more so, how can you not handle something so sensitive with 100% accuracy. The doctors are probably competent but again youre paying such low prices that they likely are not top league. They come off lethargic and struggle to complete basic tasks such as confirming your dog still has their mico-chip in place. I struggle to see how anyone could have a good experience here. If you care about your pets, I suggest you pay more money and go to a better practice!

My dog had fleas, actually she was infested and was scratching non-stop. I thought she had mites and when the scratching kept her up an entire night I called Hamilton to see if they would be able to see her. Not only did they see her that evening, they gave her a pill that took care of the fleas in 20 minutes. She was still uncomfortable from all the bites, and was prescribed steroids which finally got her back to normal. I foster labs and take them to Hamilton because its close to where I live. I had been taking my dog elsewhere, but will not make Hamilton my primary animal hospital. The staff are very caring and the doctors are friendly and patient. I never thought to go here until I started fostering Labs. They are local to me which makes office visits very convenient. Dr. Block and the rest of the office staff and technicians are awesome! The follow-up phone calls to see how my dogs are doing was a nice surprise and this shows me how much they care about the animals that are in their care. Would highly recommend this vet hospital!

I really get annoyed at people who write negative reviews and have nothing to say except complaints about overheard conversations and confusion around appointments. This reviewer never mentioned anything about treatment or care for his animal. I have been taking my dogs and cat to Hamilton for ten years. They are not cheap, but fair. Their service is outstanding. I have been through many illnesses and the loss of a great dog with Hamilton and they have been nothing but amazingly caring, kind and competent. Whenever I have an emergency they make time to see me immediately. When I lost my dog last year the entire staff sent me a card and a donation was sent in his name to Penn Vet school. The care he received during his various illnesses was amazing. Recently my beagle had a disc problem reoccur and was unable to move her rear legs. Within a week of treatment with Dr Block she was fine. Dr Block continues to call me to see how she is doing. I cannot say enough good things about Hamilton and the majority of the reviews seem to agree.

We transferred to this office after dealing with a very unorganized and inconvenient solo vet practice in the NE. Hamilton Vet came highly recommended from a local Abington Yard Sale Facebook page. The reception staff is extremely helpful, friendly and kind. They held my dog behind the desk so I didnt have to juggle my 1 yr old and our 65lb labs leash until my husband arrived. The office and exam rooms are clean and without any major "animal" odors. We had a very short wait to be seen. The vet we saw was Dr. Block, she was patient, kind, concise and answered all our questions. We were just there for a well visit and to get everything up to date, she explained everything as she went along and our dog seemed much more at ease than at previous vet visits (to our old vet). She helped us with discounts on our flea & tick and Heartworm meds. The office followed up with us a few days later. All in all it was a smooth transition and well be continuing to use this office for dog and any future pets.

We adopted a 4 year old rescue dog from the South, her name is Gabby. She came with heartworms which Hamilton Animal Hospital was already treating her for but, unbeknownst to all of us, Gabby developed other unforeseen medical issues. Dr. Amy Johnson and Staff provided unsurpassed treatment for Gabby and now she is a very healthy and happy member of our family. The medical care given was and is excellent but I cant leave out the others involved...the front desk, Office Manager, assistants, etc. Everyone is so friendly, helpful and positive. Gabby loves them all and is right at home there plus my husband and I feel like were visiting friends when we go to Hamilton. Since I was a child, a pet has always been part of my life, therefore, I have met many Veterinarians and been in their facilities. That is why I can say: If you want superb care for your beloved pet Hamilton Animal Hospital is the place to go!

Hi! Being new to the willow grove area and recently adopting two cats, I didnt know what animal clinic I should go to. After looking at online reviews from different veterinarians in the area, my husband and I chose to go with hamilton animal clinic. We met with Sam and Dr. Johnson who answered any questions we had concerning our cats. They were both very nice and helpful, and made us feel very welcomed! One of the cats even broke out of the cage because she was so scared, and the clinic loaned us a cat carrier to use to take her home in. Also, a few days after having to give both cats medicine, one of the receptionist called to see how they were doing. This clinic really takes time valuing their customers and first impressions are big for me- so because of this experience we will continue to bring our cats here!

I began taking my cat " M " to Hamilton 10 years ago, I have adopted 2 more cats since, and all three L, M & O are patients of Hamilton. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The doctors and their assistants are wonderful and caring. They take the time to answer any questions, they address any issues you might have, as well as clearly stating what future treatment if any is needed. My husband and I have never had any problems. We feel very comfortable taking and leaving our pets for treatment.. I would highly recommend Hamilton Animal Hospital for all pet lovers!

Hamilton Animal Clinic is the best place to take your pet. The staff is amazing, they have treated me and my dog like family. My baby is very special to me and I wouldnt just take her anywhere. They all are very knowledgeable, personable and caring. I interact with Rodney, Janice, and Jacqui the most and have to say that they are exceptional and wonderful people to deal with. I have nothing but great experiences every time I go there. I couldnt imagine taking my baby anywhere else!
